Three days later, everything in the Madness Realm had been rebuilt. 0

Ruoxi kept her promise and helped me find the address of Bu Lie and her Dad, bringing me to their residence. 0

Since Ruoxi was the Guardian Deity here, she couldn’t meet with the Insane Citizens freely, so she vanished. 0

I looked at Bu Lie’s figure not far away, a warm feeling rising in my heart. 0

Perhaps this would be the last time we met; we might never see each other again. If it weren't for Bu Lie and the others, I might have died here. 0

I walked towards them, but just as I was about to get closer, Bu Lie turned around and saw me. 0

At first, Bu Lie was stunned, then suddenly became excited and rushed towards me, throwing herself into my arms. “Brother Wang Niu, you’re okay! That’s wonderful! I’m so sorry for leaving you behind that day. Dad and I felt really guilty, but seeing you beside the deity made us so happy. I never expected Brother Wang Niu to become the lord!” 0

I smiled at Bu Lie’s innocent enthusiasm, just as I was about to pat her forehead when Noble Father approached. He pulled Bu Lie away and looked at me in terror, his expression completely different from what I had seen before. 0

Noble Father urged Bu Lie to kneel quickly. Not only that, but he also bowed to me several times, asking me not to blame Bu Lie. 0

It dawned on me then that my status had changed; I was no longer the same as before—I was now the lord. 0

In the Madness Realm, both the deity and the lord were held in high esteem. The Citizens regarded them with reverence that was insurmountable. 0

A sense of loss filled my heart as I realized the atmosphere between us had shifted significantly. 0

Seeing the grievance on Bu Lie’s face made me feel uncomfortable. I helped both her and her Dad up, but no matter how much I tried, Noble Father refused to rise. 0

Sighing, I could only thank Bu Lie and her Dad. This might be our last meeting; we would likely never see each other again. 0

Upon hearing my words, Bu Lie was momentarily stunned, and Shui Lingling's eyes suddenly filled with mist. 0

I felt a pang of heartache; the atmosphere was too heavy for me to bear, so I decided to leave. 0

Not long after I walked away, I suddenly heard Bu Lie shouting behind me, "Brother Wang Niu, I will miss you." 0

In an instant, my nose tinged with warmth, and tears began to flow down my cheeks. 0

I never expected that a single accident would leave me with such an unforgettable memory. 0

"You’re crying," Ruoxi's voice came from behind me. 0

I turned around and saw Ruoxi sitting on a large rock behind me, seemingly unaware of how she got there. 0

Feeling a bit embarrassed, I shook my head and didn’t admit it. Ruoxi smiled, stood up, and gently patted my shoulder. "Why don’t you stay here with me and live together?" 0

I hesitated for a moment, gazing into Ruoxi's clear and bright eyes. For a fleeting second, I felt a flutter in my heart, but I knew I could not abandon Uncle Tiger, Captain Wu, or even A Yao. 0

Seeing the expression on my face, Ruoxi's smile slowly faded, replaced by a look of sadness. "Then let’s go. I hope you won’t regret the decision you make now. It means that if you return to your original world, you will have to bear a heavy responsibility." 0

Without hesitation, I nodded. I am a man; even though I am still weak now, the responsibilities I must shoulder are unavoidable. 0

Ruoxi looked at me with determination and said, "Alright, I will follow you to your world." 0

I was taken aback and replied, "What about here? Aren't you the Guardian Deity of the Madness Realm?" 0

Ruoxi smiled lightly and pointed to the sky. "The gods above will send down a new Guardian Deity. I have even more important tasks ahead." 0

With that, Ruoxi mischievously winked at me again. 0

Ruoxi and I arrived at a cliff. She mentioned that there was another cliff across from us, but it was shrouded in mist. To return to our original world, we needed to cross this cliff to reach the one on the other side. 0

But this was a challenge. 0

Ruoxi explained that this place was called Forgetful Cliff. Beyond Forgetful Cliff lay Reincarnation River, guarded by an Old Woman. All we needed to do was give her a Ghost Pearl, and she would help us return to my world. 0

I asked Ruoxi what a Ghost Pearl was. 0

She pulled out a shimmering pearl glowing with an eerie green hue and said, "This is the Ghost Pearl." 0

Curiously, I took the Ghost Pearl from Ruoxi's hand and examined it closely. In the center of the pearl, I noticed a strange little object. 0

Ruoxi explained that the Old Woman guarding Reincarnation River loved the little things inside these pearls. She often sought out these pearls to extract the small objects within them, thereby increasing her magical power. 0

I nodded and returned the Ghost Pearl to Ruoxi, gazing at the distant cliff across from us, feeling troubled about how to get over there. 0

Ruoxi stepped forward and whistled towards the opposite cliff. 0

Instantly, a series of echoes returned from across the chasm. For a moment, I heard the chorus of countless birds, and I vaguely saw flocks of birds flying out from the other cliff. 0

Before me appeared a dark scene filled with massive birds. As I got closer, I realized they were gigantic creatures. 0

One particularly large bird bent down in front of Ruoxi and called out several times. Ruoxi nodded and leaped onto the back of the giant bird. 0

Then I saw that the remaining giant birds formed a pathway. I was astonished—was I really supposed to walk across these birds to reach the other cliff? 0

"What are you waiting for? Just step across these giant birds!" Ruoxi's voice called out to me. 0

The giant bird flew with Ruoxi to the cliff on the opposite side. 0

I had no choice but to walk to the edge. Despite the presence of so many giant birds, I still felt a bit anxious. If I accidentally fell off the cliff, it would be a fatal disaster. 0

I looked across, and at that moment, Ruoxi and the giant bird had already vanished from sight. Gritting my teeth, I stepped onto the back of the first giant bird. As soon as I landed, the giant bird beneath me swayed slightly, startling me and causing cold sweat to break out. 0

Taking a deep breath, I continued walking. This time it was better; the second giant bird was stable. By the time I crossed over, my entire body was drenched in cold sweat. 0

"Why are you so slow? The sun is about to set," Ruoxi said with a disdainful look when she saw me approaching. 0

My face flushed instantly, and I remained silent. Ruoxi had intended to tease me, but at that moment, a loud call from a giant bird echoed through the air. 0

Ruoxi's expression changed as she said, "This is bad! Something has happened at Reincarnation River. We need to hurry over there. If something goes wrong with the Yin Ship, we won't be able to return." 0

Her words made my heart race with anxiety. Just then, the giant bird carrying Ruoxi appeared from mid-air and landed in front of us. 0

"Get on!" Ruoxi leaped onto the back of the giant bird and reached out her hand to me. 0

I nodded and took her hand, climbing onto the back of the giant bird. Before I could steady myself, it soared into the sky, nearly causing me to fall off. 0

I looked at Ruoxi's worried expression and asked what had happened at Reincarnation River. 0

Ruoxi turned back and said to me, "Just now, the giant bird told me that a group of unknown monsters has emerged from somewhere and wants to cross into another realm. They know this is the only path, so they came to Reincarnation River. Although Old Woman loves Ghost Pearls, she has her principles. Since ancient times, these monsters have not been allowed on Reincarnation Ship. If they board it and enter a world that doesn't belong to them, it would throw everything into chaos." 0

I was taken aback by her words. At that moment, the giant bird had flown to a location where it circled in mid-air. Below us came a cacophony of noise; I looked down and saw many people gathered around two elderly figures who were fighting. 0

Is that Old Woman? 0

I had expected Old Woman to be something special, but she seemed no different from an ordinary old person. 0

At that moment, I suddenly felt a tremendous force surge from the ground towards us, striking the giant bird. Instantly, the giant bird flipped, throwing both me and Ruoxi to the ground. Then a powerful voice rang out, "What are you still watching for? If you want our help, hurry up and eliminate these beasts!" 0

Fortunately, Ruoxi and I were unharmed and landed safely on the ground. Ruoxi pulled out a sword from somewhere and tossed it to me, saying, "Kill them!" 0

With that, Ruoxi joined the battle. I was not one to back down either; I grabbed the sword and lunged at the nearest monster. 0

To my surprise, after slaying one of the creatures, the sword in my hand suddenly felt much lighter. Not only that, but I also noticed a faint red glow flickering within the blade. 0

Just then, a monster lunged at me with its long claws, nearly piercing my eye. Luckily, I was quick on my feet and thrust the sword into its body. In an instant, the creature transformed into black mist and vanished. 0

Suddenly, the sword in my hand changed again, gaining another hint of red light. 0

What was happening with this sword? 0

The monsters were quickly dispatched by Ruoxi and the Old Woman; within moments, they had disappeared without a trace. 0

I walked over to Ruoxi, and both Old Women turned their gazes toward me. 0

Ruoxi glanced at the sword in my hand, her face showing satisfaction as she nodded. However, the Old Woman beside her snorted coldly and said, "What is there to be satisfied about? Look at his sword; it hasn't returned to its former state. And he... he is not who he seems." 0

With that, the Old Woman's gaze toward me grew increasingly peculiar. 0

I was puzzled; what did the Old Woman mean? 0

Ruoxi looked at me before shifting her attention back to the Old Woman. "Alright, this is none of your concern. We are here for the Reincarnation Ship." 0

The Old Woman's expression darkened instantly. "Don't you know the rules? The Reincarnation Ship isn't something just anyone can board; there are regulations set above." 0

Ruoxi chuckled lightly, circling around the Old Woman as she said, "Rules are always dead, but people are alive. I have what you want." 0

As she spoke, two Ghost Pearls appeared in Ruoxi's hand. 0

The Old Woman's eyes instantly brightened, revealing a greedy glint as she reached out to grab the Ghost Pearls from Ruoxi. 0

However, Ruoxi quickly pulled them back, causing the Old Woman to frown in displeasure. 0

"What do you mean by that?" 0

Ruoxi smiled and replied, "These aren't free, you know they're quite rare. If you want them, you'll need to do something in return." 0

Upon hearing this, the Old Woman's expression softened slightly. "Of course, but his identity is different; there will be an additional cost." She pointed at me as she spoke. 0

I was taken aback. Several times now, these people had mentioned my identity, and suddenly, vague thoughts surged in my mind that I couldn't quite grasp. 0
