"Mei Yulou" was almost startled to her feet upon hearing "Xiao Yefeng's" words, but she forgot that her seatbelt was fastened due to the plane's landing. Excited, "Mei Yulou" found herself stuck in her seat and then said, "Sir, please understand that this matter is very important!" 0

At that moment, "Xiao Yefeng" shook his head and replied, "Old Master Mei, I've already said quite a bit. My abilities are limited to this extent. In any case, there is always a solution to every problem. Fate has brought us together; I can only do this much to repay you." 0

"Then thank you very much, sir!" With that, "Mei Yulou" pulled out a checkbook from her pocket, but it was refused by "Xiao Yefeng." 0

Thus, the plane landed smoothly at Hangzhou Airport. The old and young pair, "Xiao Yefeng" and "Mei Yulou," parted ways at the airport. Indeed, "Mei Yulou's" welcoming convoy was comparable to that of a national leader. After the convoy disappeared from sight, "Xiao Yefeng" took out a note from his backpack. 0

Bishui Road, No. 78, Golden House Courtyard, Courtyard No. 3. 0

On the back of the note was a string of phone numbers. Taking out an old brick-like phone from his hiking bag, "Xiao Yefeng" dialed the number. 0

After a long pause filled with the tune of an old song titled "Once Dreamed of Wielding a Sword," no one answered until he finally heard a busy signal. 0

"Beep beep beep." 0

Putting down the phone, "Xiao Yefeng" casually stuffed it back into his backpack. He had anticipated this situation; sure enough, within three or four minutes, his phone began to vibrate as a long string of numbers was sent to him via text message. 0

After glancing over the twenty-plus digit message on his phone, it instantly deleted itself. Fortunately, "Xiao Yefeng" had a good memory; recalling the numbers, he hopped into a taxi leaving the airport. 0

Hangzhou truly lived up to its reputation as one of China's most developed cities. Along the way, "Xiao Yefeng" saw lush green trees and reflective water surfaces. However, he was lost in thought about "Mei Yulou's" divination situation. 0

Indeed, "Xiao Yefeng" had started learning all about geomancy two years ago. This included dragon searching and burial site locating, feng shui rituals, mechanisms and formations, physiognomy and divination. Over two years, he had mastered physiognomy and feng shui rituals completely while continuously researching the other two. 0

So if acupuncture had been what "Xiao Yefeng" excelled at two years ago, after experiencing that event two years later, he had completely changed. Now he understood the meaning behind his father's words just before he passed away. 0

At the age of five, Xiao Yefeng lost both of his parents. Before his father passed away, he said to Xiao Yefeng, "My son, the more you know, the more troubled you will be. Your life is something your father cannot foresee, but you will certainly see many things. However, after you turn eighteen, remember this: when reading fortunes and divining, do not harm reason; what you see should not be spoken of completely. Otherwise, the truth will surely bring down punishment." 0

On his eighteenth birthday, Xiao Yefeng found himself in prison. Yet during these two years behind bars, he learned many things that would take others a lifetime to grasp. Today was the first time he attempted to read fortunes for someone else. Mei Yulou's life flashed through his mind like a slideshow. Unfortunately, due to his limited abilities, Xiao Yefeng could only glimpse some events from Mei Yulou's youth and those that were about to unfold. 0

These were mere fleeting glimpses; Xiao Yefeng could only take a cursory look. Mei Yulou's early life could be described as one of great wealth and honor. Especially after gaining insight into his true self while in the well, he had risen steadily in success. His two sons were exceptional individuals. However, recently, something Mei Yulou acquired had altered the trajectory of his fate, potentially changing the course of his later years. Xiao Yefeng sensed that this object was the chilling item within the suitcase. 0

Moreover, from observing Mei Yulou's facial features and reading his fortune, Xiao Yefeng discerned that he was about to face a great calamity due to this object in the suitcase. He felt an ominous presence suggesting that someone would take this item away from him; however, due to his limitations, Xiao Yefeng could only perceive so much. 0

From Mei Yulou's features, it was clear that there was a malevolent aura at his brow, yet it was obscured by a rainbow-like light. This indicated a crossroads in Mei Yulou's fate closely tied to the removal of this object. It was all part of destiny's arrangement; Xiao Yefeng dared not speak of it and could only hope for a favorable outcome. 0

During this first attempt at fortune-telling, Xiao Yefeng felt a deep fear regarding his abilities as a geomancer. A person's fate lay plainly before him; it seemed that with just a word, he could alter another's destiny. This power filled him with dread—more so than anything he had experienced two years prior. To be precise, nothing from those past experiences had instilled such fear in him; however, the geomancer's ability made him feel apprehensive about humanity. 0

Sitting in the taxi, Xiao Yefeng felt an excruciating headache that surpassed even the torture he had endured before. This was the punishment for observing others' destinies and a reflection of his insufficient strength as an untrained geomancer. Those who were formally trained knew better than to scrutinize too closely when reading fortunes; they would glance briefly at what they wished to know and then quickly withdraw to avoid backlash. 0

These were lessons that Xiao Yefeng, as a novice, did not yet understand—and indeed could not grasp—because even looking at someone's fate accurately was beyond him at this stage. As he sat in the taxi, his complexion gradually turned pale due to the intense pain. At that moment, he felt as if his mind had returned six years back to the Amazon—a familiar hammer striking down on him through a thick stack of books. 0

The world spun around him in ways words could hardly describe; it felt like bones were being ground and tendons severed. The driver caught sight of Xiao Yefeng's condition through the rearview mirror and was startled. He hurriedly said, "Hey buddy, should I take you to the hospital on Bihui Road? You look really unwell!" 0

"No, it's just an old ailment; I'll be fine soon!" Xiao Yefeng gritted his teeth in response. 0

"We should go to the hospital anyway; I think something is seriously wrong!" The driver insisted with concern. 0

At that moment, Xiao Yefeng pulled out a silver needle from his pocket and swiftly inserted it into two pressure points behind his ear—the Yin Gate points. As the needle pierced his skin, clarity flooded back into his mind; the intense pain dissipated instantly. The warm energy flowing from the silver needle brought him comfort as color returned to his face from pale to healthy red within moments. Soon enough, he appeared completely fine again. 0

"Are you feeling better, young man?" the driver asked, glancing at Xiao Yefeng's improved complexion through the rearview mirror as they waited for the red light. 0

"Thank you, sir. I'm fine now, but could you please turn off the air freshener in the car?" Xiao Yefeng replied. 0

"Oh, my apologies!" The driver quickly pressed the button to deactivate the car's air freshener system, sealing it off. 0

"Are you allergic to air fresheners? This is just a standard odor eliminator, nothing special," the driver continued. 0

"Yes, I have a bit of an allergy," Xiao Yefeng said dismissively. However, he was well aware of his own issues. To counteract the side effects from his recent fortune-telling session with Mei Yulou, he had used acupressure on two points: the Crown and Yin Gate. While the Crown point alleviated pain, it heightened his sense of smell. The Yin Gate helped to dull pain's impact on his mind but made his body unusually sensitive. In other words, for a period of time starting now, any harm he experienced would feel tenfold. 0

Thus, the nearly imperceptible scent of the air freshener became a tool that irritated his senses. Although the pain was muted, Xiao Yefeng felt as if his nose was suffering. At that moment, he understood why true fortune-tellers rarely offered their services; they had to endure such painful repercussions. Fortunately, his familiarity with various acupressure points had reduced his discomfort by at least sixty percent; otherwise, someone untrained would surely be in agony. 0

However, Xiao Yefeng only realized later that this intense suffering was due to breaking a taboo, leading him to scold himself inwardly. 0

"By the way, young man, we're almost at Bihui Road. Are you heading to Jade Sea Villa or Flower Mountain Park?" The driver asked after the red light turned green and he resumed driving. 0

"Neither. I'm going to Golden House Courtyard!" Xiao Yefeng replied after taking a deep breath. 0

"What! Golden House Courtyard!" The driver exclaimed in surprise before taking a closer look at Xiao Yefeng through the rearview mirror and nodding thoughtfully. 0
