As the Detection Ball successfully returned, the team prepared to delve deeper into the cave. Jonas stood at the front, a 3D map projected on his tablet displaying the cave's structure. He glanced around, noticing everyone was watching him, waiting for his instructions. 0

"Listen up," Jonas began, his voice deep and commanding. "According to the data from the Detection Ball, this cave is more complex than we anticipated. It is divided into three layers, with the third layer being particularly vast. We don't know what lies hidden here, but one thing is certain: this will not be an ordinary place." 0

He looked at each member of the team to ensure they were paying attention. After a brief pause, he continued, "Next, we will proceed along the path provided by the Detection Ball. I ask everyone to strictly adhere to the designated route—do not deviate or touch any uncertain objects or mechanisms. We do not know if there are dangers here, but we cannot take risks." 0

Jonas's tone carried a note of warning as his gaze swept over each team member, finally resting on Mocus. His expression was serious, tinged with concern and doubt. He was aware that Mocus's condition was somewhat unstable, and the unknown factors within this cave could exacerbate that unease. He hoped Mocus would remain calm and avoid any further incidents. 0

Mocus felt Jonas's gaze and lowered his head slightly, as if trying to evade that scrutiny. He knew he had to appear normal and not raise any suspicions among the others, yet the inner turmoil and restlessness continued to stir within him. 0

"Additionally," Jonas continued, his eyes scanning the other team members again, "I need everyone to stay vigilant at all times. While we are unsure if there are hostile creatures in the cave, it is dark and damp with a complex terrain. Please watch your step to avoid accidents." 0

He emphasized this point because the cave's environment was extremely unfavorable for movement; even a small oversight could lead to severe consequences. The ground was not only slippery but also littered with various potentially dangerous objects that required extra caution. 0

"We do not know what lies hidden here, but we must remain alert," Jonas's voice was filled with determination and warning. "This mission is crucial for each of us; there can be no mistakes." 0

He conducted a final check of everyone's gear to ensure they were all ready. Raymond had already instructed the mercenaries to prepare for advancement; their weapons were at the ready, and flashlights cast faint beams of light into the darkness ahead. 0

"Let's move out," Jonas finally commanded as they were about to enter the depths of the cave to uncover the secrets hidden in that darkness. The team began to advance slowly, each member on high alert, taking careful steps knowing countless unknown dangers might await them ahead. 0

Raymond and several mercenaries stood before a stone door, their hearts filled with anxiety and anticipation. Jonas stood behind them, vigilantly observing their surroundings and ready to respond to any potential changes. A few mercenaries exchanged glances before they all pushed together, their palms pressing against the cold, rough stone door. With their combined effort, the door creaked heavily and slowly began to open inward. 0

The scene beyond the door gradually revealed itself to everyone, causing them all to hold their breath in awe. It was a straight path; although the walls on either side had become worn and weathered over time, remnants of past opulence could still be discerned in its faded decorations. The remaining carvings and patterns on the walls spoke of a once-glorious past now reduced to forgotten silence. 0

The end of the road faded into darkness, obscuring what lay ahead. The air in the passage was cold, carrying a musty scent of decay, as if no one had set foot here for ages. This path resembled a time tunnel, isolating them from the outside world, with only a few standing amidst this historical relic, facing the unknown. 0

Raymond took a deep breath, suppressing his inner shock, and calmly issued orders to the mercenaries beside him: "Drop the glow sticks to mark our path; ensure we know how to return." 0

The mercenaries nodded and complied, retrieving glow sticks from their backpacks. With a gentle twist, the glow sticks activated with a soft click, casting bright light that illuminated the ground in the darkness. They scattered the glow sticks along the way, creating a trail to follow back if necessary. 0

Jonas stood at the rear of the group, observing everything before him with a sense of awe and wonder. Although he had experienced many adventures and seen numerous ancient ruins, this straight path was unlike anything he had encountered before. The scale and intricate design of the architecture revealed the immense power and profound wisdom possessed by its former inhabitants. 0

"This place is truly extraordinary..." Jonas murmured to himself, his voice tinged with uncontainable admiration. He tried to remain calm, but an unnamed sense of pressure welled up within him as he gazed at the scene before him, as if something indescribable awaited them at the end of this road. 0

The other members of the team were also struck by the magnificent yet eerie sight. However, under Jonas's leadership, they quickly regained their composure and continued forward. Each step was taken with caution, their footsteps echoing softly on the stone slabs, as if something at the end of this path was waiting for their arrival. 0
