"Is this the fairy after being Demonized?"
Ye Kai pulled WIKI back a couple of steps, and seven or eight Combat Robots immediately leaped out from behind him. Each robot was illuminated by dazzling glowing runes, which quickly burned away the encroaching mist with a sizzling sound.
"This is the fairy from the legends? They may be small, but their destructive power is anything but! Lord God, look! Their teeth are sharp enough to bite through those Metal Spikes!"
WIKI's hands began to glow with rings of light that swiftly swept across her body, transforming her into the Peerless Valkyrie. With a striking appearance and a five-foot spear in hand, she also sported two pairs of blue wings resembling butterflies on her back.
With a flick from her waist, a Red Silk Ribbon suddenly whipped up waves of heat as her eyes locked onto the fairies floating in the air.
"I really didn't ask for this outfit to be so... alluring!!!"
Ye Kai felt somewhat speechless, yet his gaze couldn't help but occasionally wander over WIKI's proudly displayed figure. This girl was getting better at dressing up by the day.
To be honest, he actually liked WIKI's appearance like this; it was purely admiration. Her beauty was increasingly approaching the level of 'Disaster to the Nation and People,' which indeed had quite an impact on his eyes.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!!!"
The fairies screamed as they launched their attacks, but they were repelled by the power of the Holy Rune glowing on the Combat Robots, suffering minor injuries in the process.
The corrosive Demonic Energy was completely countered; not only could it not approach, but a large portion of it had already dissipated.
However, as the Demonic Energy faded, the number of fairies within it began to increase. Looking up, there were hundreds, if not thousands. In an instant, aside from the violent sounds of collision and screams, almost no other noise could be heard.
"Lord God, please focus!" WIKI's eyes flashed with beams of light. She then flicked her Red Silk Ribbon, which transformed into a rainbow bridge that quickly wrapped around one fairy and pulled it back.
"Huh?"
Ye Kai knew that these fairies were difficult to deal with, but he never expected them to be this troublesome. The top-tier artifact personally crafted by WIKI couldn't even kill them instantly, which was quite terrifying.
"Mm! This fairy has significant research value."
WIKI pinched the fairy with two fingers, her eyes immediately emitting scanning rays. After a moment, she confidently spoke again, "Lord God, after scanning and analysis, the fairy contains a very dense concentration of Demonic Energy. I recommend collecting more of them to create a fairy army."
Hearing this, Ye Kai finally noticed WIKI's demeanor. It was the kind of terrifying obsession that erupted when a deity was researching some technology or runes.
Her gaze was fixed on the fairy, filled with fervor and determination, as if this type of fairy held immense value and significance for her.
"Buzz!!!"
Suddenly, seven or eight fairies broke through the Combat Robot's blockade and lunged at Ye Kai. Their delicate bodies were filled with malice and hostility, emitting sharp cries.
"Smack!"
Ye Kai's right hand shot out and grabbed one of the fairies. With a shake of his palm, he sent another nearby fairy flying away. Smack! Smack! With several sounds, four or five fairies flipped in mid-air and flew back.
"What a disgusting sensation! They are not delicate at all; instead, they feel cold and slippery. It's truly repulsive!"
Grabbing the fairy felt similar to catching an eel or a snake barehanded—cold and hard without a hint of warmth.
"However, why do I feel like they aren't strong? In fact, they seem quite weak!" Ye Kai frowned.
"Lord God, please do not underestimate them. Be cautious; the physical strength of these fairies is comparable to Heart-Moving Stage demon races. One or two might be manageable, but if so many swarm together, they are definitely formidable and difficult to kill!"
Fearing that his superior's superior might overlook the situation, he quickly acted to capture several other fairies and immediately called out, "We've just tried burning them, drowning them, and even stabbing them with magical weapons. It's incredibly difficult to kill them!"
"That's impressive!" Ye Kai frowned, feeling a bit impatient.
On the other side, the fairy he had knocked back was flying up again, baring its teeth menacingly at Ye Kai. With a flap of its wings, it charged at him once more.
Ye Kai's pupils widened as he used Psychokinesis to freeze the two fastest fairies in mid-air. However, he quickly abandoned the control of his Ability because these fairies were nothing but a chaotic mess of irrationality.
"Smack!"
He then slapped one of them away with great force, sending it crashing against the wall with his violent magical power, pressing it down.
"Bang!"
The wall shook noticeably, dust falling from the ceiling of the corridor, and a clear handprint was left indented in the wall.
Just as Ye Kai withdrew his magical power and released his grip, he was astonished to find that the fairy was completely unharmed. Not only did it show no signs of injury, but it seemed merely dazed and would likely take off again in a moment.
"What terrifying resilience and hardness!" Ye Kai finally expressed some surprise.
"Ding!!!"
Suddenly, he froze as one of the Combat Robot's fingers was bitten off. Nevertheless, it continued swiftly stuffing captured fairies into a massive bottle.
Ye Kai reached out again to grab another fairy. He squeezed it tightly; even though he crushed its wasp-like slender waist into a paper-thin shape, as soon as he released his grip, it would immediately return to its original form.
"Pop!"
Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his finger and immediately flung away the fairy he had been holding.
Pulling back his hand, he saw that the edge of his left index finger had been bitten deeply, leaving a clear tooth mark. He couldn't help but gasp; now he understood just how sharp a fairy's teeth could be.
He had already filled his palm with magical power, yet this fairy's teeth had easily pierced his skin. It was terrifyingly strong.
However, if he could capture more of them and hand them over to the Lord God, he should be able to cultivate even more powerful experimental subjects.
If that time really came, the influence of other races in Ye Kai's hands would significantly increase!
"That's enough, Lord God. We have currently collected a total of 145 experimental subjects." WIKI flicked the Red Silk Ribbon in her hand, sending dozens of fairies flying, leaving them dazed and unable to rise for a while.
Soon after, Combat Robots moved forward, grabbing each fairy and stuffing them into their respective carrying bottles.
In just a moment, the screaming fairies had all been collected.
Ye Kai followed closely behind WIKI, quickly walking through the winding corridor toward a Garden Gate.
"Ding ding ding!!"
Once again, those sudden Metal Spikes shot out of nowhere. However, against the Combat Robots protected by both an Electromagnetic Energy Shield and Rune Technology, they still failed to achieve a one-hit kill.
A series of Azure Blue Beams flashed by, and with several loud bangs, they shattered. Dozens of robots and hundreds of Nano Flying Insects swiftly rushed through the Garden Gate, speeding ahead.
Unlike what Ye Kai had imagined before, after running forward for a while, numerous artificial rocks began to appear on both sides of the corridor, and vibrant koi fish started to swim swiftly alongside him.
Although Ye Kai's eyes flickered with doubt at this scene, he hesitated not at all and followed closely behind WIKI and the robot, charging straight ahead.
After walking along the stone corridor for about half an hour, a towering Crimson Arched Wooden Door appeared before him. The door was wide open, revealing a vast garden filled with exotic flowers and plants.
The garden was alive with the sounds of chirping birds and fragrant blooms. The pond was crystal clear, with unknown pearls shimmering at the bottom. In the center of the pond stood an ancient Pavilion, but instead of stone tables and benches, there was a tall green stone about a meter high, with two gleaming swords embedded in it.
The swords were exceptionally ornate and exquisite, resembling the flamboyant long swords that only the wealthy scions of noble families would choose.
The blade was three fingers wide, adorned with several thumb-sized colorful gems.
The hilt appeared to be two fairies dressed in emerald green garments, their gentle faces radiating kindness, embracing each other in a perfectly symmetrical pose.
However, despite these peculiarities, Ye Kai's gaze was drawn to the distant hall because he could hear muffled sounds of impact and occasional angry shouts coming from within.
Suddenly, a massive creature crashed through the Hall Door, splintering wood everywhere as it tumbled into the pond with a loud splash that sent water soaring over three meters high.
The tremendous force shook the entire pond; however, in an instant, koi fish began to leap out of the water. But as they broke the surface, they transformed into grotesque and vicious forms that were ten times more fearsome than piranhas, swarming towards the creature that had fallen into the water.
“Roar...”
With a loud bang, the enormous creature burst out of the water, drenched in blood, while fierce large fish clung to its body.
It was only at this moment that Ye Kai finally saw the true appearance of the creature.
It turned out to be an equally hideous Pighead Monster!
Similar in appearance to a dark version of Zhu Bajie, Azure Fang was massive and incredibly unsettling.
At this point, its body was already a sickly green, with chunks of flesh bitten away by enormous carnivorous fish, leaving behind gaping wounds that bled profusely.
“Roar!!!”
The giant Wild Boar Spirit let out a roar and lunged back into the hall where the battle was still raging.
Ye Kai signaled WIKI to quickly send the Nano Flying Insects to monitor the battlefield. It was not the right time for him to intervene; after all, once they were exhausted from fighting, everything would belong to him, Ye Kai. There was no rush.
Moments later, inside the hall, Rory and Zhang Ming were warily watching each other while occasionally joining forces to prevent the Wild Boar Spirit from getting close to the altar at the back of the hall.
Rory wielded a Black Sword infused with Demonic Energy, while Zhang Ming held a clever Azure Seal. The two took turns slashing at the Wild Boar Spirit, one striking with the sword while the other slammed down with the seal.
For a time, their cooperation was seamless, causing the Wild Boar Spirit to roar in pain and fury.
The three clashed together, and within the hall, there were constant sounds of fierce combat like a storm, accompanied by waves of energy and vibrant explosions that echoed continuously.
