"It is the Sewing Monster!" Beiman said with a serious expression.
Ferson chimed in from the side, "With the Sewing Monster around, there must be a witch nearby. Everyone, stay alert!"

Ye Kai watched as the bizarre creature, which was crazily smashing against the Light Screen, was grotesquely stitched together from hundreds of flesh chunks. His eyelids twitched; the sight was simply too disgusting.
Its body was covered in thick, black, foul liquid, and it had no discernible facial features. Even its arms had only three fingers each.

At that moment, Ye Kai, who was already in a battle stance, was utterly dumbfounded.
This thing was simply a rookie killer; even those who had traversed one or two narrative worlds as Contractors would likely stumble if they underestimated it.
The noxious toxic mist alone was enough to deal with, and if hit by Brute Force, one would surely end up as a pancake!

Not only did the light barrier sizzle as it corroded, but even the ground and stones turned pitch black, eroded away by a layer.
At that moment, Anna, who was possessed, suddenly found herself confused about the situation. The Sewing Monster, especially the elite version, although lacking any reverse skills, was undeniably powerful and formidable.
But now, someone had managed to devise a highly targeted strategy in such a brief moment, which filled her with an ominous premonition once again.
Having not fully taken over this body, and now using various means to attract other Dark Species, she felt somewhat weakened. Although she could recover overnight, the soul of this woman within her was incredibly tenacious. She had no choice but to abandon her next covert actions; it seemed she would have to wait until they reached the Monastery to unleash her full power.
She instinctively glanced towards the others, who were equally bewildered and clearly unaware of the situation. Some even wore expressions that suggested the monster was nothing to be concerned about.

Beiman, Ferson, Nerun, Farou, and that newcomer Wen Changqing—his name, with its Eastern cadence, felt utterly strange to her. Moreover, every time his gaze swept over her, it sent a chill down her spine.
"Ye Kai, can you actually take it down? If you need help, just say so!" Suddenly, Cat, the female Contractor who had always looked down on them, spoke up with a mocking tone.
Ye Kai on the field was too exhausted to retort and was struggling against the corrosive stench of the toxic fog. He maintained a calm demeanor as if he hadn’t heard her words at all.
"Should we step in?" Beiman and the others exchanged glances, their expressions shifting slightly.
"Forget it. He just said he doesn’t need our help, so he must be confident. We should all take a quick rest; after all, we’ll be reaching Cyfreck Monastery by noon tomorrow," Nerun observed for a moment before speaking up.
"Wood, can you discern the specific attributes of this Sewing Monster?" Wen Changqing leaned closer to Wood and asked in a low voice.
"I can..."
"Hiss! So unless you completely chop this monster into pieces and burn it to ashes, it's nearly impossible to kill?" Wen Changqing gasped in shock.
Liu Changshan, Zhao Qi, and Wu Lao Liu listened with their scalps tingling in fear.
If they encountered such a thing, it would surely end in tragedy!
"Don't worry. You all know how strong Ye Kai is. This monster may be powerful, but five minutes should be enough!" Wood said decisively, a glint of determination flashing in his eyes.
Suddenly, a sharp sound rang out as Ye Kai's two daggers were unexpectedly struck back by an oddly shaped piece of iron held by the Sewing Monster. The terrifying brute force behind it made the daggers whistle through the air.

Ye Kai stomped down hard, leaping backward and upward with a fierce motion. Two daggers pierced through the thick trunk of an oak tree behind him, emerging from the other side.
Standing on a broken branch, he looked down at the scarred monster below. Ye Kai couldn't help but frown slightly. He had already tested it; although this elite Sewing Monster seemed weak, with his current abilities, he could only penetrate a few inches of its rotting flesh.
Inside that flesh was not only a corrosive and foul-smelling toxic mist but also an extremely viscous and resilient gelatinous substance.
Just as he was about to try using the Holy Rune to break through that strange layer, Ye Kai's expression suddenly changed. He leaped high again, landing on the tip of the oak tree and gazing into the distance.
"That's the Wolf King fighting someone... such a powerful aura!"
At that moment, the branch beneath him cracked loudly and collapsed. He decided to end this quickly; otherwise, delays could lead to unforeseen changes!
"Bang!"
Like a meteor crashing to the ground, a shockwave erupted, sending dust flying as he created a large crater in the earth. Then he crouched low and lunged toward the Sewing Monster.
At that moment, he retracted both daggers in his hands. One dagger spun around, wrapping layers of metal wire around the monster's thick body, while the other transformed into a rapidly rotating arrow that shot forward with incredible speed.
Most bizarrely, a strange rune on the dagger grew increasingly bright.
"Thud!"
The dagger sliced effortlessly through the monster's bloated belly, creating a fist-sized hole that pierced cleanly through. With a loud bang, it embedded itself into a massive rock behind it.
Watching streams of foul black liquid pour out and spread toxic mist everywhere from the frenzied creature, Ye Kai's eyes flashed with a ruthless glint. He produced several grenades in his hand and expertly tossed them into the gaping hole.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
With a series of violent explosions, the entire Sewing Monster was blown to pieces, reduced to dozens of fragments. Yet, the writhing chunks of flesh still displayed a tenacious vitality.
Ye Kai stared at the foul-smelling slime and meat covering an area of twenty meters beneath his feet, his eyelids twitching. How could this thing still be alive?
Moreover, he hadn’t heard any notification from Nightmare Space, nor had he seen any treasure chests drop!
Suddenly, he noticed that one large piece of flesh was different; it seemed that all the meat chunks were consciously gathering towards it.
With a sense of helplessness, he glanced at the two corroded and pitted daggers in his hands. He hurled them forward, and with two loud bangs, the piece of flesh the size of a human head exploded.
As a dark blue smoke billowed up from the meat chunk, all the rotten flesh and pus within twenty meters began to rise in wisps of black smoke.
"Finally dealt with it!"
These monsters were indeed quite troublesome. He couldn't help but wonder what kind of scene awaited him if he ever had the chance to visit the world of Ancient Legends of Huaxia.
Walking slowly over the now grayish-white, desiccated meat, Ye Kai bent down to pick up a piece of iron embedded in the ground, resembling half a sword blade. He flicked it with his fingers.

"Leave a note at the kiosk outside the Capital City First Library if you need my help!" Ye Kai turned around and said seriously. He was well aware of these individuals' potential, as they were all certified by the gods, and he trusted them completely.
"Don't worry, if we need anything, we won't hold back!" Zhao Qi, a man who looked like a cheerful Maitreya Buddha, replied with a serious expression for the first time.
"Wood, Changqing, what about you two?"

The others exchanged surprised glances at Wen Changqing; it seemed that this journey into Nightmare Space had left a profound impact on him.
After a brief moment of contemplation, Ye Kai suddenly smiled and said, "How about this? Don't be polite with me. If you trust me, come to the Star God Group. I'll arrange reasonable positions for you so you won't have to explain anything to your families when you return."
