“Buzz!”
A massive orb of light above the System Space suddenly descended a beam of light, enveloping Ye Kai within it.
Suddenly, an astonishing scene unfolded before Ye Kai.
A girl, nearly the size of a three-year-old child, appeared in front of him. She had two soft, gentle wings of light extending from her back and a head full of golden hair.
The Girl seemed to have just woken up. In a daze, she yawned and rubbed her chubby hands over her eyes. Then, she suddenly opened them wide and exclaimed.
It was a high-pitched scream filled with the innocence of childhood.
Ye Kai could guarantee that most people would be utterly defenseless against such an adorable voice; it was simply irresistibly cute.
However, after hearing her sharp cry, he felt a sudden heaviness in his chest and instinctively took two steps back to steady himself.
