“Chirp! Bang!”
Ye Kai held the Gauss Needle Gun in his hand and fired a shot at the feet of the woman from the vampire clan. His tone was indifferent as he said, “The Demon Hunter Guild is the Demon Hunter Guild; it has nothing to do with me. Also, you’d better put down those two weapons you’re holding.”
“I don’t care if you’re a vampire or some other monster; all I know is that you stole my prey!”
Mel Jones’s blood-red eyes flashed with surprise as her graceful steps came to a halt. She was not unfamiliar with modern weaponry, but she had never seen a firearm as terrifying as the Speed.
Although she was confident that no one here could catch up to her with her absolute Speed, those two weapons in her hands were quite a hindrance!
“Bang bang!”
Leaving a body at her feet, she slowly turned around, her blood-red eyes burning like flames. “Human child, although your abilities are quite peculiar and your weapons impressive, you really shouldn’t provoke a Night Count Noble, especially when she’s a woman.”
Emira and her group were hardly a concern. Ye Kai wanted nothing more than to capture these individuals and send them to the laboratory immediately, but it was clear that there was a formidable opponent nearby.
Moreover, he was very curious about the last Elder of the Bluebloods that everyone was fighting over. Perhaps he could uncover some secrets from that Blueblood named Aining!
After all, he was the holder of the Life Crystal and also a Relic of the Bluebloods!
“Ms. Mel Jones.”
Ye Kai took slow steps upward into the air. Despite there being nothing there, it seemed as if he were walking on stairs, causing everyone watching to involuntarily gasp in shock.
“I think you haven’t grasped one thing yet.” Standing eight meters above the ground, Ye Kai raised a finger and gently waved it. “You have your own rules and ways of survival, but you shouldn’t interfere with my hunting interests or attempt to steal my prey because…”
At this point, he suddenly leaned slightly forward, his tone cold and chilling as he said, “You are provoking a war between Two Races!”
“Hunting?”
“Two Races?”
“Inciting a war?”
“What is he doing?”
“Is he not human?”
The chilling aura that seemed to freeze one's very soul was like a dark cloud obscuring the blazing Radiance, making people feel slightly uncomfortable, and emanating a profound coldness from deep within.
The elders of the Demon Hunter Guild, led by Emira, exchanged glances as they witnessed the scene before them and heard such shocking words.
When Mel Jones first heard the term Hunting, she had prepared to mock her opponent, but upon hearing the next phrase, she immediately focused on the adversary in front of her.
Moreover, this enemy, who appeared to be quite young, possessed such bizarre abilities that it instinctively put her on guard.
Though she had lived for over 700 years and encountered countless strange phenomena, this individual was the only one who truly made her wary.
“War between the Two Races!?”
Mel Jones's face, which was not particularly beautiful, suddenly broke into a smile. It was a smile that should have seemed extremely out of place, yet for some reason, nearly everyone momentarily lost their focus upon seeing it.

Ye Kai was also slightly taken aback, but in just a second, he regained his composure. A glint of murderous intent flashed in his eyes as he waved his hand, causing several steel bars on the ground to transform into arrows that shot toward Mel Jones.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
The Mental Hypnosis, which was supposed to be effective against both humans and other beings, had surprisingly failed? In an instant, Mel felt her heart sink as she realized she might have underestimated this opponent.
Adding to that was the powerful shockwave from the recent Mental Power release; perhaps this group truly wasn't 'human' after all.
Suddenly appearing ten meters away, Mel caught a glimpse of the spot where the steel bars had vanished. Her brow furrowed again as she exerted force under her feet, making herself disappear once more.
"Perhaps your Speed is impressive, and maybe you possess remarkable recovery abilities, with the trait of 'as long as the core remains intact, you won't die'..."
Ye Kai stepped toward the direction of Tartus and Aining, sharp surgical knives transforming into silver light swirling around him: "But what if I freeze you and then toss you into an erupting volcano? I'm quite curious about what the outcome would be."
"Oh?"
Mel's playful laughter echoed around, her figure moving swiftly like a ghost: "I'm also curious about what means you have to freeze me—Holy Rune power?"
With his Gauss Needle Gun constantly shifting positions, a cold smile played on Ye Kai's lips: "Whatever it is, just know that I have such means. In any case, everyone here is my prey. No matter who it is, I will make them understand what it means to fight to the death!!!"
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
Although none of the shots hit their target, they left over a dozen deep holes in the ruins.
With his powerful Mind Control ability, nothing within a radius of zero meters could escape his gaze. Coupled with his absolute scan within ten meters, no one could approach him without being detected.

"Is this the abandoned factory? Why does it sound like there are gunshots?"
The road conditions were truly torturous for the sedan beneath them. The bumpy ride left Andrew, Matt, and Steve worried that the car might break down at any moment.

After driving a few hundred meters, Matt suddenly noticed a faint glow in the distance.
"F-u--k, Matt, stop! Stop the car!" Steve shouted suddenly, even reaching out to grab the steering wheel.

Matt slammed on the brakes and exclaimed, "For God's sake, Steve, what are you doing?"
"Calm down! Something seems off up ahead. I think we should turn back. Didn’t you hear gunshots?" Steve yelled.
"Yeah, it sounds like gunfire. Matt, let’s go back! It’s dangerous ahead!" Andrew said in alarm, his face pale as he patted Matt's shoulder.
…
"Hmm?"
Ye Kai suddenly stopped pulling the trigger, frowning. He had just realized that he hadn’t received any notifications from the deity; the trio from the movie had already arrived here, just two hundred meters away.
Mel Jones didn’t understand why her opponent had stopped, but she was also unaware that facing this prickly character was giving her a headache.
Even though her speed was incredibly fast, she was detected every time she got within twenty meters of him. Several times she almost fell for it; if it weren’t for her quick reflexes, she would have ended up with several large holes in her body by now.
This sci-fi-looking firearm was truly terrifying. Its incredible power not only shattered thick steel plates in the ruins but also broke solid steel beams as thick as an arm. It even created a fist-sized crater in the ground.
There was one more thing that troubled her greatly: the firearm in this guy's hand seemed to have an endless supply of ammunition, as if it would never run out.
"Hey!"
She raised an eyebrow, realizing that a few weak humans were sneaking around not far away, watching them?!
A glimmer of amusement flashed in Ye Kai's eyes as he aimed his gun at the low slope where Andrew and the others were hiding.
"Bang!"
Grass flew up, and dust swirled in the air. Andrew and his companions were stunned by the scene before them, staring at the deep pit just a meter away until they were choked by the dust and finally snapped back to reality.
However, just as the three of them were about to escape, a large group of soldiers armed with M4A1 assault rifles suddenly appeared, silently pointing their guns at their heads.
"Hey, hey, hey! I'm an American citizen! I haven't violated any laws in Washington State; you can't do this..."
Matt raised his hands innocently, then turned his head and shouted, "Idiot, shut up."
