Chapter 11: Slaying a Beast
Although some Monarchs pretended to be severely injured and avoided battle, the Peerless Monarch was not so easily dealt with. It is important to note that most Peerless Experts are usually outside the Twelve Cities, and their return is not merely for the sake of rescuing others.

He struck upward toward the bear's back with his sword.

Another resounding impact echoed through the air. The shockwave alone sent scattered Chaos Beasts flying, while the giant bear seemed to transform into a shooting star, almost directly soaring outwards like starlight.
However, after that single strike, Lian Yun initiated the Ten Thousand Sword Technique. Thousands of Soul Swords converged into one massive Soul Sword and pierced through the 'shooting star' with incredible speed.
The massive Soul Sword vanished from the eyes of those at the edge of the city wall almost simultaneously with the Meteor.
At this point, Lian Yun's wave of attacks had come to an end. He did not rush to retrieve the Soul Sword or return to the city wall. Instead, he delved deeper into the Beast Tide, beginning to hunt down Peak Monarch-level Chaos Beasts.
If he couldn't eliminate all the Peerless Emperor Level Chaos Soul Beasts at once, he would have to compromise and first take down the Supreme Chaos Beasts.
This way, he or he and Zhuang Wuxue could hunt Peerless Emperor Level Chaos Soul Beasts outside the battlefield without worrying about the safety of the Yaochi Disciples fighting at the city gate.
However, this was still a High Emperor Beast Tide, and the Chaos Beasts seemed endless. In an instant, the area Lian Yun had cleared with his Kung Fu was filled with High Emperor-level Chaos Beasts.
