Chapter: Climbing the Rankings
It is important to understand that while the basic rankings offer rewards, those on the list are generally regarded as exceptionally gifted individuals. The rewards from the basic rankings pale in comparison to those from the BSS Tower, which is why few people pay much attention to them.
However, the BSS Tower is entirely different. Although it offers rewards once a week, it essentially represents a person's peak combat power. To some extent, the BSS Tower better reflects an individual's true fighting ability.
Moreover, after reaching the fortieth floor, the rewards for each level become enviably substantial.

The reward for first place on the thirtieth floor is three hundred Honor Points and three thousand White Spirit Coins, while for the thirty-first floor, it is six hundred Honor Points and six thousand White Spirit Coins. The thirty-second floor offers nine hundred Honor Points and nine thousand Diamond Spirit Coins, continuing this way up to the thirty-ninth floor. The reward for the fortieth floor is five thousand Honor Points and fifty thousand Diamond Spirit Coins.
Lian Yun has secured first place in all ten of these levels, accumulating over twenty thousand Honor Points and more than two hundred thousand White Spirit Coins.
After the fortieth floor, rewards double: for the forty-first floor, it’s ten thousand Honor Points and one hundred thousand White Spirit Coins; for the forty-second floor, it’s twenty thousand Honor Points and two hundred thousand White Spirit Coins.
Lian Yun again took first place on the forty-first floor but only managed third place on the forty-second floor, earning eighteen thousand Honor Points and eighteen thousand White Spirit Coins.
Additionally, there are leaderboard rankings. Lian Yun only made it to the forty-second floor and did not qualify for a spot on the leaderboard, thus missing out on further rewards. This isn’t solely about strength; it’s also a numbers game. Nevertheless, even so, Lian Yun's total rewards from the Ranking List amount to fifty-three thousand Honor Points and five hundred thirty thousand White Spirit Coins. This weekly haul could sustain many champions for several years.
However, this isn’t even the main point. The real highlight is that Lian Yun is recognized as the top champion of the Year Beast Secret Realm and has only just begun his challenges. Most people believe that if Lian Yun attempts a few more times and reaches the forty-fifth level while securing first place throughout, it would be entirely normal.
If that were to happen, Lian Yun would also become number one on the leaderboard. Although the reward for being first on that leaderboard is fixed at one hundred thousand Honor Points and one million White Spirit Coins, when combined with other achievements, it could total nearly five hundred thousand Honor Points and five million White Spirit Coins.

As such, many people are watching closely for changes in the BSS Tower.

During this time, Lian Yun challenged the thirty levels for an extended period. Lian Yun's Demonic Dance of the Harp could now be described as extraordinary, but that was only limited to controlling twelve long swords.
Starting from the second level, Lian Yun began to increase the number of long swords while summoning all of his Ghost Slaves, continuously pushing through the challenges.
The Challenge Platform consisted of eighty levels: thirty for Kings and fifty for Monarchs. Before reaching the seventy-first level, Lian Yun could pass through relatively easily, but after that, things became more difficult.
However, Lian Yun was not in a hurry; he repeatedly tackled the challenges.
One reason was to reduce the time spent on each level, and the other was to allow his Ghost Slaves to fight and improve their combat abilities.

Since the Chaos Beasts on the Challenge Platform were not considered bosses and lacked special attributes like rapid healing, high defense, or high agility, Lian Yun charged straight to the seventy-sixth level.
