Lingshan, the four disciples of Tang Monk have completed their meritorious deeds, and Tathagata Buddha personally conferred the title of "Buddha of Merit and Virtue" upon Tang Monk, " Yuddhajaya " upon Sun Wukong, "Purifier of the Altar" upon Pig Bajie, and "Golden Body Arhat" upon Sha Wujing. The "Little White Dragon" that has been carrying Tang Monk has also successfully transformed into a dragon form and was conferred the title of "Bodhisattva of the Eightfold Dragon of Heaven." For a time, the entire Lingshan was filled with radiant Buddha light and lotus flowers. 0

At the foot of Lingshan, a thin beggar looked at the radiant Lingshan with a disdainful expression in his eyes, along with an imperceptible sense of resentment. 0

The three realms have all noticed that the " Yuddhajaya " who has achieved enlightenment is indeed different from before. The originally impetuous monkey, after becoming a Buddha, directly closed himself off for five hundred years. He did not return to Flower Fruit Mountain, nor did he wander around causing trouble as before. Instead, he honestly stayed at the mountain gate designated by Buddhism for the " Yuddhajaya " on Emei Mount, meditating in seclusion for a full five hundred years, just like a statue in a temple, no longer concerned with the matters of the three realms. 0

As time passes, the legend of the The Great Sage, Heaven's Equal gradually becomes just that, a legend. In the Three Realms, apart from a few who still remember the audacious monkey, most cultivators only know of a powerful being on Emei Mount called the Yuddhajaya. 0
In the Western Niu Hezhou, ever since the Tang Monk and his disciples vanquished demons and evil spirits five hundred years ago, the entire region has been left with only Buddhism and the Buddhist kingdom. Everything else, be it demons or immortals, has ceased to exist. The entire Western Niu Hezhou is now inhabited solely by Buddhist believers. 0
A frail beggar sits on the ground, his body weakened to the point where he can no longer continue his journey. 0

"Pada" 0
A piece of coarse cake was thrown in front of the beggar. The beggar glanced at the cake, but showed no intention of picking it up. The woman who gave the cake to the beggar was a woman of about forty years old. Seeing that the beggar was unmoved, the old woman couldn't help but put her hands together and said, "Amitabha." 0

The beggar seemed a little excited when he heard the Buddhist chant, but he quickly calmed himself and continued to gaze blankly at the sky, unaffected by the food in front of him. Suddenly, it started to rain heavily, and the people in the city sought shelter indoors, but the beggar remained sitting motionless, letting the rain wash over him. After some time, a little girl stood in front of the beggar, holding an umbrella to shield him from the rain. 0

"Why did you become a beggar? You could go to the temple and become a Buddhist, then you wouldn't have to endure the wind and sun here, right?" The little girl looked at the beggar, somewhat puzzled. Looking at the innocent eyes of the little girl, the beggar, who hadn't spoken for a long time, finally opened his mouth. His voice was very hoarse, with a hint of unruliness. 0

The beggar said, "Buddha, he is not worthy of my worship." 0
The little girl's face showed a look of shock, and she quickly covered the beggar's mouth, saying, "No, you can't blaspheme Buddha, you will be burned as a heretic." 0
The beggar smiled bitterly and did not speak again. 0

The little girl left the umbrella to the beggar, and soon a group of people appeared and took the little girl away. From the passersby, the beggar learned that the Guanyin Zen Temple had recently accepted a female disciple who was born with a Buddhist nature. When she recited scriptures, she could move the statue of Bodhisattva Guanyin, causing a great stir at the Guanyin Zen Temple. The beggar looked at the umbrella in his hand, his face showing a look of sorrow. He knew that the innocent little girl was gone. 0

The beggar glanced deeply at the Distant Guanyin Zen Temple, holding an umbrella, and began to move in a direction from memory. The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Tathagata Buddha opened his eyes. Five hundred years had passed, and Tathagata's strength had not improved at all. He knew that his strength had reached a bottleneck, and time could no longer bring any improvement to his power. 0

It seems that something has occurred to him, and a compassionate expression appeared on Tathagata's face. He formed the hand gesture of holding a flower, and golden light shimmered around him. Before long, a monk wearing a kasaya appeared in front of Tathagata and addressed him as "Honored One." 0

This monk, named Ananda, was a disciple of Tathagata. 0

"Ananda, have you refined it? It has been five hundred years." 0

Tathagata slowly spoke. 0
Ananda The venerable Ananda put his palms together and said with a solemn expression, "Respected Tathagata, disciple has been refining the pure world's lapis lazuli fire for a full five hundred years, but the elixir still has not taken shape. However, please rest assured, in another two hundred years, it will definitely be possible to refine the elixir." 0
"Two hundred years, very good, very good." 0

Tathagata Closed his eyes, and his whole body seemed to transform into a golden statue. 0

Ananda Silently paid his respects, then slowly disappeared. 0

"I'm exhausted, feeling more and more weak. Damn it... like... Old man, one day, I will make you regret it." The beggar felt his body getting weaker and couldn't help but curse, but when he mentioned a certain name, he seemed to remember something and forcibly swallowed the name back. The beggar, tired from walking, lay down under a big tree. In the tree, a few monkeys curiously stared at this unexpected guest and made faces at the beggar. 0

The beggar waved at the monkey, signaling it to come down from the tree. The mischievous monkey, for some reason, seemed unable to refuse the beggar and obediently came down from the tree, holding various fruits as if offering them to the beggar. The beggar gently touched the monkeys in front of him, then accepted the fruits offered by the monkeys and began to eat heartily. 0

The juice flowed down the beggar's mouth, making him look very embarrassed. 0
"Let's go, monkeys, don't tell anyone you've seen me." 0
After finishing the fruit, the beggar waved to the monkeys, and they scattered and disappeared in an instant. 0

In the sky, auspicious clouds drift by, and a glint of gold flashes in the beggar's eyes. He then closes his eyes and falls into a deep sleep under the tree. 0

In the sky, Bodhisattva sitting on a lotus platform suddenly opens her eyes. She furrows her brow and gazes down to the mortal world, but finds nothing. 0

"Bodhisattva, what's wrong?" 0

Behind Guanyin, a young boy-like figure spoke up, "This is the disciple under Guanyin, Red Boy. However, at this moment, Red Boy no longer possesses his former arrogance and appears humble." 0

Guanyin shook her head without saying anything. She felt that she might have been mistaken. She had just felt as if someone was spying on her, but upon careful investigation, she found no suspicious individuals. 0

"Perhaps it was just a misconception. I never expected that a natural spirit would appear in my temple. With this, the Purple Bamboo Forest of the South Sea will gain another master." 0

Guanyin Bodhisattva shook her head, feeling that she might have misunderstood. There are not many powerful beings in the Three Realms who can spy on her without being noticed, and they don't have the leisure to pay attention to her. 0
