I instantly realized that this was the work of Zhou Mumu.
This hotel is one of the best in our area, and its prices are quite high.
At first, Yuwei and I had to empty our pockets just to afford the lowest package they offered.
When Zhou Mumu found out, she kept insisting that her husband hold their event here, but she was met with a scolding for wasting money.
I thought she would let it go after that, but unexpectedly, she quietly placed the blame on me.
Her calculations were quite clever; no wonder she wanted to have her wedding on the same day as mine.

" Xia Lili, is this really necessary? I just wanted to have my wedding on the same day as yours. Why do you have to make things so difficult for me?!"

Just as I picked up a broom, I heard a noise coming from the bedroom.

"I think this looks better on me anyway. Yours is ruined now; how about you wear mine? You won't lose out," she said casually.

This wedding dress was a custom piece that I had spent half a year's salary on from a designer, worth hundreds of times more than her bargain-bin version. How could she have the audacity to say such a thing?
"You need to take that off right now! There's no way I'm swapping with you!"
"Why are you being so rude? I'm Xiao Wei's sister. Mind your tone when you talk to me."
"Tone? You're wearing my wedding dress without permission and have ruined it! The fact that I haven't called the police is already showing you enough respect—what more attitude do you want?"
At that moment, Yuwei happened to arrive and witnessed everything.
"Look at how your wife dares to treat me like this right in front of you. Just imagine how she will bully me once you're married!"
Seeing the torn wedding dress on Zhou Mumu, Yuwei's face had already turned an indescribable shade of anger.

Yuwei's furious demeanor frightened Zhou Mumu so much that she hurried away without even changing out of her wedding dress.
After she left, Yuwei immediately changed the locks on the house and added two more for good measure.
Fortunately, the next day, she returned the repaired wedding dress, and the wedding could finally proceed as planned.
The day of the wedding went smoothly with all the rituals—fetching the bride, welcoming her, taking photos—everything fell into place.
But just as I was backstage in my wedding dress waiting for my turn, a shadow suddenly wrapped around me tightly from behind.
A foul-smelling face leaned in closer, "Baby, you look so beautiful today. Let your husband cherish you properly!"
Before I could react, a sharp sound of a camera shutter echoed from behind me.
"Come look! This shameless woman is actually trying to seduce my husband at our wedding!"
