Kagura Aoi's hands gripped the edge of her clothing tightly under the table; she bit her lip as Bai Zhuo stared intently into her eyes. She couldn't meet his gaze directly and looked away.
Bai Zhuo let out a cold laugh and asked, "Hmph, what's wrong? You were so eager to offer everything when it sounded good over there; now look at you."
Kagura Aoi bit her lip hard enough to draw blood. Suddenly, her previously wandering gaze locked onto Bai Zhuo, her eyes radiating a terrifying aura as she declared firmly, "I thought Bai Zhuo was not that kind of person. I didn't expect you to be just an ordinary fool. Take this body if you want."
"Body?" Bai Zhuo released his grip on Kagura Aoi's smooth chin and laughed mockingly, "Hahaha... Kagura Aoi, you are too naive. A body? What I, Bai Zhuo, desire is not just a mindless shell. It seems your Chinese isn't as good as you thought! Go back and check the dictionary for the meaning of 'slave'!"
Kagura Aoi looked at Bai Zhuo in confusion, "Isn't it just about the body?"
Bai Zhuo shook his head and sneered, "You will be my slave, and I will be your master! Your life and death, your very existence will be under my control!"
Upon hearing this, Kagura Aoi's face turned pale. She never imagined that Bai Zhuo would have such grand ambitions. Disappointment began to creep into her heart.
"Do you think my request is too much?" Bai Zhuo sat back down, playing with his fingers. "Whether you agree or not is up to you. But tell me, who else besides me can help you, a lost outsider?"
Kagura Aoi wanted to get up and leave, but thoughts of her uncertain brother, those detestable enemies, and her merciless kin made it impossible for her to calm her racing heart.
She sat across from Bai Zhuo in a daze for quite some time, tears like pearls silently slipping down her cheeks. Anyone nearby could sense how deeply wronged she felt at that moment. Bai Zhuo rolled his eyes. "Crazy."
"You!" Ge Shui Lian huffed, her nostrils flaring. This Bai Zhuo was truly infuriating; every time they talked, he managed to get on her nerves. Taking a deep breath, she said, "Forget it, I won't argue with you. I need to ask you about us... about Grandpa... he's currently in a coma... what should we do about this?"
"What are you talking about? I can't understand you at all."
"Bai! Do I have to spell it out for you?" Ge Shui Lian placed her hands on her hips and shouted angrily. "As a man, you have no sense of gentlemanly conduct at all! No wonder Sister Shirei doesn't like you! It's about our marriage! Our marriage! And also, you need to handle your relationship with Yang Liu properly; you're supposed to be my fiancé!"

Bai Zhuo sneered, "What? Do you think you have any other options? From now on, you will call me Master, and you will refer to yourself as—my servant. Understand?"
Kagura Aoi bit her lip; her tightly clenched fists finally relaxed as she softly uttered, "Master."
"What? That was too soft; I can't hear you!"
"Master!" Kagura Aoi raised her voice slightly.
Bai Zhuo suddenly stood up and forcefully grasped Kagura Aoi's chin, narrowing his eyes. "Your tone is flat and devoid of emotion. Think carefully and say it again!"
Kagura Aoi felt like crying. She had once been the esteemed eldest daughter of the Kagura Family but now found herself humiliated by someone like Bai Zhuo—truly a case of the tiger falling into the plains being bullied by dogs!
She took a moment to gather herself, suppressing the shame and anger within her before forcing a smile. "Master!"
Only then did Bai Zhuo nod in satisfaction. "As a servant, that's the right attitude! Of course, just calling me Master isn't much of a promise. Here, this is the Yin-Yang contract; after signing it, you will be mine. If you betray me in the future, you will be cursed and never find peace!"

Kagura Aoi gazed at the yellow paper in Bai Zhuo's hand, her mind racing with thoughts. Bai Zhuo reclined in his chair, comfortably enjoying Kagura Aoi's service. After a long while, he yawned and said, "Let's go take a bath; tonight you will sleep with me!"
