"Bai Zhuo! I know you're home, open the door!"
Bai Zhuo, with a pale face, pulled open the door. "Kagura Keiha, what are you doing here? How did you know I live here?" Upon hearing this, Kagura Keiha immediately restrained her exaggerated expression and bowed straight to Bai Zhuo. "I'm sorry, Bai Zhuo. Please forgive my earlier rude behavior; I hope you can forgive me."
Bai Zhuo ignored Kagura Keiha and curiously looked at the woman. She wasn't stunning but had a comforting presence, similar to Yang Liu yet distinctly different. She wore a light blue outfit adorned with lily patterns and high wooden clogs paired with immaculate white socks, exuding a strong anime vibe.
The woman in high clogs stood only up to Bai Zhuo's forehead, likely around one meter sixty tall. She slightly bent forward and spoke fluent Mandarin with perfect pronunciation. "You must be Mr. Bai Zhuo? My younger sibling has caused you trouble; I am Kagura Aoi, the eldest daughter of the Kagura Family. Please take care of me!"
Kagura Aoi's respectful and polite demeanor was refreshing. Even though Bai Zhuo wasn't fond of Japanese people, he couldn't help but acknowledge that Kagura Aoi gave off the impression of being a perfect woman.
Bai Zhuo was somewhat awkward; despite recently mingling with beauties like Ouyang Shirei, Yang Liu, and Miao Xiaoqi, his awkwardness remained unchanged. He felt reluctant to reject Kagura Aoi's greeting.
"My name is Bai Zhuo; please take care of me!"
"Bai Zhuo~ are you really going to make us stand here in the cold wind at the door?"
Kagura Keiha tried to assert her presence but was stopped by her sister's reprimand. "Gui Ye, do not be rude!" Kagura Keiha seemed afraid of Kagura Aoi and quickly replied, "Yes, yes! Lady Sister!"
Kagura Keiha, feeling a bit awkward, stepped aside to welcome Bai Zhuo. Without hesitation, Kagura Keiha walked in, while Kagura Aoi bowed again to Bai Zhuo, her face showing an apologetic expression. "Mr. Bai, my younger brother lacks manners; please bear with him. When we return, I will make sure to discipline him!" Bai Zhuo casually replied, "Sure, give him a good beating when you get back. I nearly lost my life at his hands; if it weren't for my luck, I would have met the King of Hell by now."
Bai Zhuo had always been this way, but after hearing his words, Kagura Aoi's expression turned serious as she took the matter to heart.
"Wow! Bai Zhuo! How come your Pomegranate Tree is blooming? It smells so good!" Kagura Keiha exclaimed as she moved to pick a flower. Suddenly, a deafening roar echoed from the room: "Impudent!"
Kagura Keiha's Shikigami, the Snow Woman, appeared protectively in front of her, and snowflakes began to swirl in the courtyard. However, an invisible force momentarily halted the snowflakes and struck at the Snow Woman!
"Ghost Immortal, show mercy!" Kagura Aoi shouted as a Golden Talisman shot forth and shielded the Snow Woman. A golden barrier enveloped both the Snow Woman and Kagura Keiha, blocking the overwhelming Yin Qi that followed. The golden barrier shattered with a resounding crash.
"Ah? Who could withstand this strike? Oh, it's you!" An Zhi Xi's voice resonated from within the room without revealing himself.
Kagura Aoi was taken aback and asked, "Ghost Immortal, do you know about my past life?" But An Zhi Xi did not respond further, leaving her with endless questions.
Inside the room, Su Meiniang curiously asked, "An Zhi Xi, do you know her? You seem to know everyone." She pressed her finger against her lips and smiled charmingly. "I’m really getting more and more curious about who exactly this Bai Zhuo is!"
An Zhi Xi seemed wary of Su Meiniang discussing Bai Zhuo and replied coolly, "Su San, as far as I know, that monk has already reincarnated. The grievances of nine lifetimes should finally come to an end."
Lin Yao Yao also chimed in with curiosity: "Oh? Is he the monk who saved Su San back then? Why is he still a monk in this life?" Lin Yao Yao rolled her eyes playfully and teased, "Oh dear~ still being a monk; what will you do to repay him, you fox spirit?"
Su Meiniang shot her an annoyed glare. "Please don’t call me Su San! That stinky monk is from years ago; I've made up my mind. He can pursue his celestial path while I walk my own ghostly road; I won't have any dealings with him anymore."

Su Meiniang slammed her hand on the table and flicked her nine tails in anger, startling Yang Liu into covering her eyes. Su Meiniang glared at Lin Yao Yao and scolded, "Lin Yao! If you don't speak up, no one will think you're mute!"
Lin Yao Yao was not one to back down either. She slammed her hand on the table and said, "Su San, stop shouting! Are you trying to scare me?"
As the saying goes, when gods fight, mortals suffer. Ge Shui Lian and Ghost Cao Xin wisely stepped back, leaving only Miao Xiaoqi, who looked at the trembling table in confusion.
In the courtyard, Kagura Keiha, the Japanese man with a bandaged head, showed no signs of fear after the chaos. Instead, he was excitedly shouting, "Hey? Was that Su Meiniang just now? Su Meiniang, I'm here to find you!"
Kagura Aoi lowered her head and covered her face with her hands, shaking her head. Her brother was truly hopeless.
Outside the room was Kagura Keiha, the 'plague god', while inside were the troublemakers Su Meiniang and Lin Yao Yao. Bai Zhuo heard the loud banging of the table from inside and felt overwhelmed.
Having given up completely, Bai Zhuo turned to Kagura Aoi beside him and asked, "Miss Kagura, do you know about your past life? What does it feel like?"
