My Tenant is a Female Ghost
Bai Zhuo spent the most boring half month in the hospital, and his injuries began to heal slowly. Elder Ge, upon learning of Bai Zhuo's injury, visited him several times as his senior sister. From her, he learned that Master Elder Ge was still angry and had not come to see him personally.
On the afternoon of his discharge, Bai Zhuo was surrounded by a group of beautiful women, attracting the attention of passersby in the hospital who secretly cursed him for his good fortune with women.
Ouyang Shirei naturally didn’t need to be mentioned; aside from occasionally returning to the orphanage, she spent almost all her time at the hospital with Bai Zhuo. Ge Shui Lian had also visited a few times, and through these interactions, she became quite friendly with Ouyang Shirei and Miao Xiaoqi. However, she didn’t seem to have much interest in Yang Liu, likely due to her feelings for Leng Xuanhe, the Cold Young Master.
Ge Shui Lian stepped between Ouyang Shirei and Bai Zhuo, breaking up their cozy gathering. Bai Zhuo silently cursed her for being inconsiderate. He heard Ge Shui Lian ask, “Bai, what on earth did you do to make my grandfather so angry? He hasn’t even come to see you after your discharge. Didn’t you win first place in the competition? He’s been acting like he’s on fire for the past half month; I have to avoid him every day.”
“Ah, this is my fault; as for the reason…” Bai Zhuo paused for a moment. He couldn’t possibly tell four beautiful women that he was threatened by a wandering ghost into a Ghost Marriage! He mumbled, “It’s complicated… In short, it’s my fault.”

Bai Zhuo replied helplessly, “Come on now; how old are we? It’s just calling out in front of Master… Hey… why are you twisting my waist?”
“Are you going to give me a ride or not?”
Ge Shui Lian’s grip on Bai Zhuo's soft flesh was painful. He glanced at Ouyang Shirei's expression and saw she had no reaction. He immediately begged for mercy: “Ouch… alright! I’ll take you; is that okay? It’s just helping you move things! Yang Liu watched Ge Shui Lian and Bai Zhuo playfully bickering and felt a pang of envy. She spoke up, "Why don't we take my car? After all, Shui Lian and I go to the same school, it would be more fun to go together."
Bai Zhuo eagerly nodded in agreement. Ge Shui Lian, with her bold personality and lack of guile, immediately showed her displeasure on her face, pouting as she muttered, "Hmph~ self-important, taking liberties, those two..." However, she quickly reconsidered; if Bai Zhuo ended up with Yang Liu, wouldn’t that leave her a chance with Leng Xuanhe Cold Young Master? With this thought, Ge Shui Lian couldn’t help but smile foolishly, her steps slowing slightly.
Bai Zhuo subtly pushed Ge Shui Lian aside and walked shoulder to shoulder with Ouyang Shirei.
He asked, “Sister Shirei, thank you for taking care of me lately. The kids at the orphanage must be causing quite a ruckus, right?”
Ouyang Shirei playfully replied, “Those kids aren’t as naughty as you think. They’re actually quite well-behaved… Bai, thank you… thank you for everything you’ve done to help me…”
Bai Zhuo interrupted her with a smile, “Sister Shirei, you’re being too formal. We’re practically family.”

Of course, Bai Zhuo was thrilled at the invitation. “Sure! But I need to bring two more people. Yang Liu’s house is still being renovated, and I’ve been looking after Qi too; we’ll need two extra pairs of chopsticks!”
Ouyang Shirei: “Oh come on, Qi has been taking care of you! That’s fine! You’re both welcome! And Shui Lian, you should come too!” Ge Shui Lian, being the playful girl she was, chimed in eagerly, “Sure! I’ve never been to an orphanage before! I hope I won’t be a bother, Sister Shirei!”
Yang Liu patted Bai Zhuo on the shoulder and teased, “Not bad; at least you still have some conscience and haven’t forgotten your friends over a pretty face.” This comment made Ouyang Shirei blush deeply as she playfully scolded Yang Liu. Laughter filled the air as they left the oppressive atmosphere of the hospital behind.
Since Ouyang Shirei wasn’t traveling with Bai Zhuo and the others and was worried about the children at the orphanage, she took a bus by herself. Although Ge Shui Lian wasn’t particularly fond of Yang Liu, she loved lively gatherings and had never been to Bai Zhuo’s home. Her curiosity got the better of her as she shamelessly hopped into Yang Liu’s car.
"Wow! Bai Zhuo! I didn't expect you to be from a wealthy family!" Ge Shui Lian pointed at the grand entrance of Bai Zhuo's home, her expression exaggerated as she exclaimed, "This Siheyuan is in Ningcheng. Just looking at its size, it must be worth at least ten million!"
Bai Zhuo chuckled, "Ten million? That's the price from two years ago. Back then, a rich man wanted to buy several Siheyuan in this area and offered fifteen million, but I didn't sell."
Fifteen million from two years ago? If that model, Zhang Ni, heard Bai Zhuo's words, she would surely be furious.
"What? Fifteen million? That's mine!" Ge Shui Lian's family wasn't poor, but compared to other wealthy families, there was still a gap. Just as Bai Zhuo finished speaking and opened his front door, a woman's furious voice rang out from the yard: "I'm going to kill you!" Startled, Bai Zhuo felt his soul leave his body.
The voice was both familiar and strange. The name Lin Yao Yao surfaced in Bai Zhuo's mind. He thought there might be a thief in his house to make Lin Yao Yao so angry and hurried inside. However, the scene in the yard left him dumbfounded.
