"My Tenant is a Female Ghost" features a female ghost.
"Um... Wang Kun, I think you misunderstood. Your Corpse Servant really isn't with me; it was that child just now..."
Wang Kun shouted angrily, "Even if it's not you, you can't escape responsibility! I'll kill you first, then deal with the sword!"
The Peach Wood Sword in Wang Kun's hand glowed with a strange blood light, and Bai Zhuo naturally dared not confront it head-on. Fortunately, Wang Kun wasn't a martial arts master; despite swinging the Peach Wood Sword left and right, he couldn't land a hit on Bai Zhuo. Frustrated, Wang Kun stomped his feet. He hadn't wanted to use talismans again; each one used meant one less for him, and once they were gone, he would have to painstakingly redraw them, which was quite troublesome. Exorcising ghosts was his specialty, but killing people had always been done with the help of Ghost Servants and Corpse Servants. Without those powerful allies, he found himself at a loss against the agile Bai Zhuo.
"You little brat, you're forcing my hand!" Wang Kun pulled out two deep blue talismans from his pocket and quickly formed the Hand Seals. "Displacement—Fire Separation Talisman! Urgent Command!"
The deeper the color of the talisman paper, the stronger the borrowed power from nature and deities, but of course, the backlash was also greater. Upon seeing the deep blue talisman, Bai Zhuo was startled; it was a mid-level talisman!
Bai Zhuo didn't dare to use the Nine Character Mantra's "Sword in Hand" to confront the Fire Separation Talisman directly and could only run down the mountain. He dashed quickly, dodging left and right. When the Fire Separation Talisman landed in front of him, it startled him so much that he hurriedly retreated several steps.
As it turned out, Bai Zhuo's instincts were correct. The deep blue Fire Separation Talisman ignited upon touching the ground without any visible flame, creating a fire over two meters wide and taller than a person that erupted with a loud bang, blocking Bai Zhuo's path.
"Hiss! Damn it! Good thing I didn't rush in there; damn it..." Bai Zhuo cursed under his breath as he hurriedly turned around and ran back toward the school.
"Where do you think you're going? Divination—Kan Water Talisman!" This time Wang Kun didn't throw the talisman but sneered instead. "You fell for my trap; just wait to die!" He slammed the Kan Water Talisman onto the ground. As Bai Zhuo continued to flee, suddenly he felt the ground beneath him shift like he had stepped into a swamp, sinking his feet into the mud! "Oh no, when did this happen?"
"Hmph~ Just when I came up here! Why aren't you running anymore? Now let's see how you escape!" The thought of finally being able to kill Bai Zhuo made Wang Kun unable to suppress his triumphant laughter.
Just when Bai Zhuo felt utterly helpless, a voice suddenly came from above him.
"Need some help?"
Bai Zhuo looked up in surprise but was met with terror—a long-haired female ghost with blood streaming from her seven orifices smiled at him, revealing her pale teeth in a chilling manner while cradling a child in her arms. It was indeed the female ghost that Bai Zhuo had seen on the bus!
"How could it be you!" Bai Zhuo exclaimed in surprise.
The female ghost laughed even more joyfully, but to Bai Zhuo, she seemed even more terrifying. She continued to ask, "Do you need help?"
Bai Zhuo hesitated; this ghost had been following him without his notice, and she must have some ulterior motive! Never make a deal with the devil, that was the ironclad rule of the Yin Yang Realm!
"Do you need help? He's coming..." the ghost asked leisurely.
"Damn it, I'm betting on it, hurry and save me!"
Wang Kun approached step by step, hearing Bai Zhuo talking to himself. He curiously asked, "Hey, who are you talking to? Are you so scared that you've gone mad?"
Bai Zhuo raised his middle finger at Wang Kun. In Wang Kun's astonished gaze, he slowly flew out of the swamp—yes, he flew out! Wang Kun's eyes nearly popped out of his head!
"How is that possible!" Wang Kun immediately took out a marble-sized bead, a specially processed Crow's Eye. Although he hadn't cultivated the Yin-Yang Eye, swallowing a Crow's Eye would allow him to see some ordinary ghosts for twelve hours.
"You made a deal with this ghost? Are you out of your mind?" Wang Kun asked as he looked at the bleeding female ghost.
Bai Zhuo was pulled out of the swamp by the ghost and burst into laughter. "You, someone who wants my life, actually have the face to say that? Are you brain-dead or something? Idiot!" After cursing, he raised two middle fingers at Wang Kun and turned to run, shouting as he fled, "So you're Wang Kun from Haicheng? I'll remember you! If I can't deal with you, my master will! Alpaca! Just wait for death!"
"You!" Wang Kun was furious and chased after him. Letting a tiger return to the mountain was not an option... he absolutely couldn't let him escape!
The two chased each other closer and closer to South City School. Bai Zhuo heard the distant sound of police sirens. It seemed some students had already called for help—just as I wanted!
Wang Kun also heard it; at this moment, his anger had reached its peak. If he didn't kill Bai Zhuo now, things would become even more complicated when the police arrived—this wasn't his territory of Haicheng; it was Ningcheng!
Wang Kun followed closely behind, unexpectedly pulling a Black Talisman from his pocket. The Black Talisman, like the Purple Talisman and the Golden Talisman, was a high-level talisman paper. The difference was that the purple represented protection, similar to one side of Yang Liu's amulet, which was a protective purple; the Five-Color Talisman had a wide range of uses, but to use it effectively, one needed a thorough understanding of the five elements to draw the corresponding Curse Seal on it. The Golden Talisman represented blessings, while black symbolized destruction.
He was getting closer! Bai Zhuo could almost see the four police cars and an ambulance parked at the school gate; he thought he even spotted Yang Liu and Ge Shui Lian.
Wang Kun's expression twisted with malice as he pinched the Black Talisman and shot it towards Bai Zhuo. The talisman seemed to have a will of its own, following closely behind Bai Zhuo.
Ge Shui Lian cupped her hands into a trumpet shape and shouted in panic, "Bai Zhuo! Watch out!"
Bai Zhuo's heart skipped a beat as he turned around, only to see a Black Talisman already stuck to his back.
"Damn it—it's black!" That was his last utterance for the night.
Wang Kun halted, swiftly forming several complex Hand Seals before finalizing his gesture with a cold smirk. A lengthy incantation spilled from his lips: "Earth is boundless, Heaven and Earth Borrowing Method... Supreme Clarity of Tai Chi... extinguish its spirit... Thunder God, assist me, Thunder Spell—Thunder Break!"
Bai Zhuo had just removed his clothing, revealing talismans drawn in blood on his body and arms. These talismans were meant to guard against Kagura Keiha; little did he expect that Kagura Keiha would flee first and that they would now come into play.
Bai Zhuo felt a dark cloud looming overhead as thunder rumbled in his ears. Before he could even curse, a bolt of lightning struck down—thicker than the one summoned by Kagura Keiha's "Thunder Emperor"!
"What the hell, why is it still lightning?" This was Bai Zhuo's final conscious thought before losing consciousness…
