It was unclear how long he had been asleep when a strong smell of formaldehyde jolted Jiang Liu awake. 0

As he opened his eyes, he was greeted by a grayish-white flower panel and an old-fashioned chandelier that swayed precariously above him. The window on his left had been opened at some point, and a gentle breeze danced the white curtains in the air. 0

White curtains, white sheets, and even the blankets covering him were white; the entire room resembled a hospital ward. 0

This was not his room. Jiang Liu swore he had never lived in such a place, yet as he surveyed the unfamiliar decor, a strange sense of familiarity washed over him, as if he had seen this room many times before. 0

His mind still foggy from sleep, it was abruptly interrupted by a series of ringing sounds from his phone. He hurriedly searched for the source of the noise and eventually discovered it was coming from his pants pocket. 0

Initially thinking it was an alarm, he was taken aback when he opened his phone to find an incoming call. The number displayed looked somewhat familiar, and as he pondered it, he froze in shock. 0

Wasn't that his own phone number? 0

A chill crept over him as he stared at the familiar digits. Jiang Liu's heart skipped several beats; he stared blankly at the phone, unsure whether to answer this eerie call. 0

But the phone continued to ring insistently, as if it would not stop until he picked up. After much deliberation, Jiang Liu decided to answer it; the current situation left him utterly bewildered. 0

Even if it was a ghost on the other end, he resolved to connect. 0

Prepared for anything—be it a terrifying voice or a mournful wail—Jiang Liu braced himself. However, when he finally answered the call, he was taken aback. 0

There was no one on the other end. 0

Both sides fell into silence. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, Jiang Liu could no longer hold back and tentatively asked, "Hello?" 0

The moment his voice broke the silence, it seemed to startle whoever was on the other end, and they hung up immediately. 0

Listening to the persistent beeping sound from the phone, Jiang Liu felt puzzled about what had just happened. 0

After contemplating for a while, he realized that pondering this issue was futile given his current predicament. He understood now that he must have been drawn into an Interdimensional Supernatural Incident once again, just like the previous two times. 0

Setting his phone down beside him, Jiang Liu pulled off the covers only to discover that he was wearing loose-fitting white clothing that resembled a Patient Gown from a hospital. This made him feel quite uncomfortable. 0

Getting out of bed, Jiang Liu began to inspect the arrangement of the room. 0

The room looked as if it had been rummaged through, with items scattered everywhere. As he looked around, Jiang Liu's attention was drawn to something. 0

It was a White Iron Frame Wardrobe, placed in the corner of the room. If it weren't for the wardrobe's cleanliness standing out against the chaotic mess of the rest of the room, he might have easily overlooked this white cabinet. 0

Approaching the wardrobe, Jiang Liu opened it and discovered it was filled with Black Clothes. After searching through the garments inside and out, he found no other useful clues; there was nothing else in the wardrobe besides clothes. 0

Glancing at the black clothing inside and then at the Patient Gown he was wearing, Jiang Liu quickly took off his clothes and pulled out a set from the wardrobe to put on. 0

The clothes fit perfectly, seeming as if they had been prepared specifically for him. 0

Once dressed, Jiang Liu thoroughly searched the entire room again but found no clues. Just as he was about to open the door to leave, a series of footsteps suddenly echoed from outside. 0

The footsteps grew closer, clearly approaching his room. 0

Jiang Liu instantly felt tense. He quickly scanned the room's layout and, without thinking much, hid inside the wardrobe. 0

Inside the wardrobe, Jiang Liu could hear the footsteps drawing nearer. It seemed that whoever was outside knew someone was in this room; they stopped right in front of his door. 0

When he heard the footsteps halt at his door, Jiang Liu's heart raced as if it would leap out of his throat. He struggled to calm his breathing, pressing his ear against the wardrobe to discern any sounds from outside. 0

A knock suddenly sounded, accompanied by a Male Voice: "Is anyone in there?" 0

Realizing that there were people outside and not ghosts calmed Jiang Liu's racing heart. He felt puzzled about why he had been so afraid. 0

Emerging from the wardrobe, Jiang Liu whispered, "Who is it?" 0

Hearing a response from inside, the male voice seemed pleased as he said to Jiang Liu, "Hello, friend. We are participants in this paranormal event." 0

Upon hearing this, Jiang Liu felt relieved; his guess had been correct—he had indeed entered a supernatural incident. However, he remained cautious about those outside: "We? How many of you are there?" 0

"Three—two men and one woman—all participants in this paranormal event," replied the male voice. 0

As the man spoke, Jiang Liu opened the door and found three people standing outside. 0

Two of the men, one plump and one thin, appeared to be around thirty years old and were both taller than Jiang Liu. The woman was a bit shorter than him, sporting a short hairstyle. 0

When the three saw Jiang Liu open the door, they were clearly taken aback for a moment. 0

The heavier man looked at Jiang Liu and frowned, "Kid?" 0

The thinner man replied to the heavier one, "Watch your words. In supernatural events, you can't judge others by appearances. Brother, don’t mind my friend’s bluntness." 0

Jiang Liu didn’t pay much attention to the heavier man's attitude and asked the two, "Are you part of a team?" 0

"Oh, looks like this brother knows a thing or two about supernatural events," the thin man explained to Jiang Liu. "We're not from the same team, but he and I know each other." 0

"Then do you know what the mission for this incident is?" Jiang Liu asked directly. 0

As soon as he spoke, a voice that filled him with dread echoed in his mind. 0
