Horror Chapter 0

Jiang Liu sat on the bed in his bedroom, his eyes fixed on the conspicuous Black Clock. He had a gut feeling that something was going to happen tonight. 0

However, with only a minute left on the clock, he hesitated to venture out and check on everyone else's rooms. 0

It was already past 1 AM, and he still felt wide awake, his mind swirling with chaotic thoughts. 0

There was not a single clue. 0

The door was quietly ajar, and the hallway was silent. Jiang Liu guessed that the others were likely waiting in their rooms for something to happen, just like him. 0

The hour hand on the Black Clock pointed to 1. 0

Still, nothing occurred. 0

Yet the unease in his heart grew stronger. Unable to contain himself any longer, he strode to the door and called out to the other rooms, "Are you all asleep?" 0

It wasn't long before Li Lin's voice came from the room on the left. "What's wrong? Did you discover something?" 0

"No, but I have this unsettling feeling, so I wanted to check if you were all here." 0

Jiang Liu felt a bit apologetic; it was already past 1 AM, a time when everyone would usually be asleep, and here he was waking them up. 0

"You feel it too?" Xu Qian's voice chimed in. 0

"Yes, I've felt this unease ever since I returned to my room," Jiang Liu replied. 0

"Since we're all awake anyway, let's wake up the others and make sure everyone is accounted for," Li Lin suggested. 0

The occupant of Room 104 was the White-Collar Man, but due to his habit of working late into the night, he hadn’t slept yet. Hearing voices outside, he walked to the door and joined the discussion. 0

The Student Sister had spent the entire night on edge, so as soon as she heard the voices, she rushed out. However, seeing that everyone else remained inside chatting, she returned to her room. 0

The last to appear was Lin Mao'er, who had been quiet from the start. She didn’t say anything, just listened to Li Lin and the others discuss. Eventually, she acknowledged her presence with a soft response to Li Lin. 0

"One, two, six people—one is missing!" 0

Jiang Liu counted the heads and realized someone was absent. After a moment's thought, he identified the missing person as the low-key Fat Man, also known as Liu the Great. 0

"Hey! Liu the Great! Are you in your room? If you are, respond!" Jiang Liu's voice echoed down the hallway. 0

After waiting for a while without any reply from Liu the Great's room, Li Lin and Jiang Liu sensed something was off and stepped out of their own rooms, heading towards Room 105. 0

Upon entering Liu the Great's room, they discovered it was completely empty—Liu the Great had vanished without a trace! They searched every corner of the room but found no sign of him. 0

Exchanging worried glances, they silently concluded: something must have happened! 0

"What’s going on? Is there a problem?" Xu Qian had also stepped out of her room and looked at Li Lin and Jiang Liu with concern. 0

"Yes, Liu the Great is missing; we can't find him in his bedroom!" Li Lin replied. 0

"What should we do?" The Student Sister asked anxiously. 0

"Everyone stay calm. We have twenty minutes to search. Let’s split up and look for him. Remember to return in twenty minutes to avoid any accidents; make sure you leave enough time to get back to your rooms! Understood?" 0

Li Lin suggested. Seeing everyone nod in agreement, he and Jiang Liu began searching towards the elevator. 0

On the other side, Liu the Great was aimlessly wandering through the forest. 0

"Damn it, what kind of place is this! It's pitch black with not a single person around, not even an animal! What a lousy forest!" 0

Liu the Great kept cursing, hoping that his words would give him a bit of courage. 0

As he walked, a glimmer of light suddenly appeared in the depths of darkness, shining so brightly that it was blinding. 0

Overjoyed, he ran toward the light. 0

After running for about ten minutes, the light grew larger and larger. 0

When he finally burst out of the forest and his eyes adjusted to the intense brightness, despair washed over him completely! 0

He had returned to the hotel once again, but this time he found himself not in the lobby, but in his own room. 0

At that moment, he heard some noise coming from the bathroom. Fearful, he approached the bathroom door and peeked inside. 0

The empty bathroom had no one in it, yet the showerhead was inexplicably turned on, spraying out steaming water and gradually filling the air with white mist. 0

He wanted to escape from this room once more, but this time the door felt as if it had been cemented shut; no matter how hard he knocked, there was no response. 0

"Help! Someone help me! There's a ghost!" 0

Liu the Great shouted in despair, calling for help for a long time without any reaction. Gradually, his voice faded away. 0

Feeling somewhat broken, he sat on the floor and watched as the white mist continued to rise in the room. He knew that death was imminent! 0

However, after a long while, the death he had imagined still did not come, leaving him feeling puzzled. 0

Was the ghost just here to tease him? Or did it not want to kill him after all? 0

With this thought, his fading will to survive reignited, and he shakily stood up. 0

Since the door wouldn’t open, he decided to search the room. After all, Bai Li Lin’s escape route was likely hidden within his own room. If the ghost hadn’t killed him yet, then he still had a chance to escape. 0

The more he thought about it, the more excited he became, feeling as if the way out was right in front of him, just within reach. 0

He first headed to the bathroom where he had heard noises. The bathroom was now filled with steam, creating a thick white mist that obscured everything inside. 0

He groped around for the faucet based on his memory when suddenly, he felt a pair of icy hands. 0

The hands were soft and delicate, reminiscent of a woman's palm. Aside from being cold, they felt strangely pleasant to touch. 0

Under normal circumstances, Liu the Great would have made a joke about it, but in this situation, he felt an overwhelming chill run through him. 0

He let out a terrified scream and hurriedly pulled his hand back, turning to flee from the room. 0

He ran desperately, but the thick fog showed no signs of dissipating; it felt as if the entire world was engulfed in white mist. 0

What should he do? What could he do? 0

He kept asking himself these questions as his frantic pace continued. He had a gut feeling that if he stopped moving, that female ghost would catch up to him. 0

After running for what felt like ages, everything around him remained shrouded in white. His stamina was waning, and he could no longer keep up his pace. 0

Supporting himself on trembling legs, he gasped for breath as sweat dripped continuously from his forehead. 0

At that moment, he sensed something ahead of him. He reached out and touched a smooth wall. 0

Is it a mirror? 0

He wiped the wall a few times and discovered that it was indeed a mirror. 0

Had he somehow entered the bedroom? 0

He wondered, wiping the mist off the mirror. Sure enough, through the haze, he could see his pale face. 0

What is that red thing? 0

At that moment, a vaguely blurred red caught his attention. Curious, he leaned closer, but still couldn't see clearly. It wasn't until he pressed his entire face against the mirror that he finally saw! 0

The red wasn't clothing or an illusion; it was a blood-red eyeball staring intently at him, emanating a chilling malice! 0

Just as he tried to step back to distance himself from the mirror, a pair of ghastly white hands suddenly reached out from the mirror and yanked him in! 0

Liu the Great didn't even have time to struggle before disappearing into the mirror. 0

Once again, silence enveloped the surroundings. 0
