“Oh! By the way, I still don’t know your name, beautiful! I’m Jiang Liu, Jiang Liu who never stops being Jiang Liu.” Jiang Liu was the first to introduce himself.
“Nianxia, like the word for nostalgia and summer,” the girl replied, closing the book in her hands and looking up at the boy named Jiang Liu.
“The surname Nian? That’s quite rare!” Jiang Liu joked. “But your name has a nice ring to it!”
“Thank you,” Nianxia responded politely.
As someone who had never experienced love before, Jiang Liu felt his mind go blank at that moment, unsure of what topic to discuss next. The two fell into a comfortable silence, their eyes meeting for a brief moment before he hurriedly looked away towards the twinkling stars outside the bus. Eventually, it was Nianxia who broke the silence with a laugh at Jiang Liu's flustered expression.
“You look like a student who just finished the college entrance exams. Are you here to report for school?”
“Yeah, I wanted to get a feel for the city I’ll be living in and maybe work part-time for a couple of months to earn some pocket money.”
“Not bad, you have some ambition!” Nianxia nodded approvingly before asking, “Which school are you reporting to?”
“H University.”
“Really!” Nianxia exclaimed, looking at Jiang Liu in surprise. “What a coincidence! I’m also from H University.”
Upon hearing this news, Jiang Liu felt as if he had been struck by a giant pie falling from the sky. The excitement was indescribable as he eagerly asked, “Are you also going to report to H University?”
“No, I’m not going there to report,” Nianxia said, looking at Jiang Liu with a hint of a smile on her lips, her striking black-and-white eyes revealing a glimmer of mischief.
"Then who are you? Senior?" Jiang Liu guessed.
"That's right, that's right! Very clever!" Nianxia straightened her back slightly, speaking in a tone reminiscent of an older sister talking to a child. "I’m just a freshman this year, but I’ll be a sophomore when school starts, so by qualifications, I’m your senior!"
"So what are you doing in H City, Senior?" Jiang Liu immediately climbed up the bamboo pole, calling her 'senior' made Nianxia quite happy.

"Working part-time?"

"Then it's decided! When we get to H City, we’ll get off together and you stick with me; don’t wander off." Nianxia reminded him of some important points regarding her aunt's place.
"Okay, I'm not a child anymore; I won’t cause you too much trouble." At that moment, Jiang Liu noticed the book Nianxia had been holding and curiously asked, "I see you've been holding that book. What is it?"
"Oh, this! This is Cat's terrifying 'Unknown Maze.' I really like her writing style. It's horror with a touch of warmth."
Nianxia handed the book to Jiang Liu. Upon receiving it, Jiang Liu opened the first page, where a name was written in black ink on the clean white paper: Cat. The elegant handwriting made Jiang Liu feel that the owner of this name must be a quiet and knowledgeable beauty.
"That's Cat's pen name. I'm her loyal fan, so she mailed me a signed copy."
Seeing Jiang Liu staring at the first page of the book in a daze, Nianxia explained with a smile.
"I guess anyone who can write in such a beautiful script must be an intellectual beauty author," Jiang Liu praised.
"Exactly! I met her once in private, and she gives off a calm and comfortable vibe. She's even more beautiful than I am! It's a pity I'm not a guy; otherwise, I would definitely fall for her!" Nianxia's tone carried a hint of disappointment.
"I think if she knew what you said, she would be very happy."

"By the way, have you decided which club you want to join after school starts?" Nianxia asked indirectly.

He wasn't familiar with clubs but had seen many people online discussing them and thought joining one seemed like a hassle. So far, he hadn't even looked into what clubs were available at H University.
Hearing Jiang Liu's response, Nianxia's eyes lit up as she smiled at him. "As your senior, I feel it's my duty to guide the incoming students toward a wonderful club environment! How about this: when school starts, I'll take you to join a club. It won't be that much trouble; we just gather occasionally for activities, and the rest of the time is pretty free. The most important thing is that there are plenty of beautiful girls inside!"
"I feel like you're trying to trick me," Jiang Liu said suspiciously, looking at Nianxia.
