In fact, I was quite ignorant at that time. Although Qinghai Lake is vast, it can only be called a lake because it has no strait leading to the ocean and no river connecting the two.

Once on the yacht, Mingyue and Mu Yan both sat in the middle.

Several figures stood on the deck of the ship, and among them, I could clearly see that one was none other than Gu Chen.
He Si maneuvered the yacht alongside the ship and securely tied it with ropes. He gestured for us to climb up the stairs leading to the ship.
I felt a surge of excitement but nodded and climbed up. Soon after, He Si and Mu Yan followed me.
As soon as we reached the deck, Gu Chen's gaze turned towards us. Anfu was standing next to Gu Chen at that moment, along with a middle-aged man I didn't recognize.
"You've arrived."
Seeing us come aboard, Gu Chen gave a calm glance at Mu Yan and Mingyue beside me without asking much. His gaze then settled on me as he lightly inquired.
I quickly nodded and said, "Yes, I'm here."
Then I asked, "Master, is there really a dragon here?"
He glanced at me again, lightly nodded without dwelling too much on the question, and said calmly, "I know what happened over there. You don't need to feel too guilty; it wasn't your fault."
"Yes, Master, you don't need to worry. I'm fine." I nodded again, though I still felt a bit sad inside.
"That's good to hear." Gu Chen didn't say much more and walked directly into the cabin, saying as he walked, "You've all been traveling for a while; you should come in and rest for a bit."
I replied with an acknowledgment and followed him inside.
The ship was quite spacious; calling it a cabin was more like referring to a three-story small building. The interior was not luxurious by any means, but it was comparable to an average hotel, equipped with everything one might need.
He Si led us to two rooms—one for Mingyue and one for me and Mu Yan—then turned and walked out.
I was indeed feeling a bit tired. By the time I woke up, it was already dark outside. After having dinner, I noticed Gu Chen standing on the deck and walked over to him.
"Master, what are you looking at?" I asked curiously.
He Si was also standing there. Gu Chen remained silent, but He Si answered, "Looking for dragons."
"Looking for dragons?"
His words made me furrow my brow involuntarily as I followed Gu Chen's gaze towards the water surface.
The shimmering waves reflected only the moonlight and the ripples; there was no sign of any Divine Dragon.
Perhaps sensing my confusion, Gu Chen turned around and said lightly, "You must have seen the news about the Nine Dragons Drinking Water."
I nodded and said I had seen it before. Mao Guoxue had also asked me similar questions, which left me puzzled. "Master, does this mean that after you arrived here, such a scene appeared?"
He shook his head and couldn't help but laugh. "It's not that easy to see such a sight. If it really happened, it would have already caused quite a stir online."
Hearing this, I nodded again; it made sense, but I was even more confused.
However, what Gu Chen said next left me in shock. He stated, "But the appearance of the Nine Dragons Drinking Water phenomenon at Qinghai Lake is indeed as I suspected because there are dragons here."
"Are you saying there are nine dragons here?" After the initial shock, I asked in disbelief.
"Do you think dragons are like vegetables or radishes on the street? How could there be nine in just one Qinghai Lake?" As soon as I finished speaking, He Si couldn't help but tease me.
His words made me feel a bit embarrassed, and I lowered my head awkwardly before asking, "So what does Master mean?"
Gu Chen shook his head and smiled lightly. "It's true that there are dragons in Qinghai Lake; that's an undeniable fact. However, Nine Dragons Drinking Water does not refer to nine dragons but should be attributed to one dragon."
"One dragon? But how could there be nine columns of water then?" I still looked at him with confusion.
"Evolution," Gu Chen said calmly.
But I still didn't understand and continued to look at him with a puzzled expression.
He asked back, "Have you heard the story of how a Python can evolve over time into a Divine Dragon?"
I nodded and replied that I had heard of it. After all, the tale of the Python transforming into a dragon was not only on television or in books; I had heard plenty from the older generation.
He nodded and said, "That's right. A giant python can successfully transform into a Silver Dragon after reaching a certain level of cultivation; however, such a dragon can only be called a Jiao Long. Beyond Jiao Long, it can further evolve into a true Divine Dragon."
After saying this, he paused slightly and looked at me. "Do you understand what I mean now?"
I furrowed my brows slightly, beginning to understand but still unsure as I said, "Master means that this is happening because a Jiao Long is evolving into a Divine Dragon, which has caused the phenomenon of Nine Dragons Drinking Water?"
He smiled faintly and replied, "Exactly."
I asked again, "But I still don't understand what those nine water columns are about."
At that moment, He Si couldn't help but interject, "You're being foolish. When a Jiao Long evolves, it spits out water droplets from the seabed. The droplets shoot up into the sky, forming water columns that reach the clouds. However, because the Jiao Long moves so quickly, it appears in nine different positions in a short span of time and spits out nine water columns. All of them converge on the surface of the lake at once, creating what we call Nine Dragons Drinking Water."
"Uh..."
Hearing this, I was momentarily taken aback and found myself at a loss for words when looking at He Si.
However, what he said did seem to make some sense; if that were the case, it could indeed explain things.
Just as we were talking, suddenly the middle-aged man standing next to Gu Chen pointed at the lake and shouted, "Senior Gu, look over there! What is that?"
In an instant, following his pointing direction, all our gazes turned toward it.
