On a sunny afternoon, Souta, Bosaku Sei, and Xiazhimaru were filled with excitement for adventure.
They decided to explore the mysteries near House of Souta. The shrine at House of Souta is a landmark in the village, with a five-hundred-year-old sacred tree and a bottomless dried-up well, each with its own mysterious history.
They gathered under the sacred tree, and Xiazhimaru's eyes sparkled with the curiosity and passion of youth: "Our adventure begins! Maybe we'll discover something interesting!"
Bosaku Sei smiled, but his eyes held a depth that seemed to conceal endless stories. He gazed at the dried-up well, lost in thought.
Souta held Po in his hand, leading Xiazhimaru and Bosaku Sei to the deepest part of the shrine. The shrine's stone steps were covered in moss, and every step carried the weight of time.
They carefully made their way to the heart of the shrine, where the dried-up well stood silently, as if guarding some mystery.
But suddenly, the lid on top moved ever so slightly, so small that no one noticed.
XiazhimaruCuriously, he walked up to the well and tried to look inside, but the pitch-black depth scared him off.
He chuckled and said, "This well is too scary, can't see the bottom."
At that moment, Souta's grandfather suddenly appeared, his face sternly warning them: "You can't just come in here, especially this well, Souta, they don't understand, don't you understand either?"
Souta lowered his head, his voice slightly trembling: "Grandfather, I just wanted to see my sister."
Grandpa's eyes flashed with a hint of sadness, knowing that Souta has been unable to let go of his sister's disappearance. He gently patted Souta's head and said, " Souta, I know you miss your sister, and both your mom and I miss her too. But there are some things that are beyond our control."
Bosaku Sei looked at Souta with sympathy, realizing that Souta brought them here because he wanted to. He took a deep breath and said to Souta's grandpa, "Grandpa, don't worry, we will be careful."
Grandpa fell silent for a while, then just sighed and slowly walked back outside the shrine. "Forget it, do as you like. This well has been quiet for a long time, so it shouldn't be a big deal."
Souta turned to stare at the unresponsive Bone-Eater's Well for a long time, then sighed and said, "Let's go, Xiazhimaru and Bosaku Sei." Just then, the mischievous Po suddenly broke free from Souta's hand and jumped into the dried-up well.
" Po, what are you doing?" Souta shouted nervously. Xiazhimaru and Bosaku Sei immediately turned to look down the well.
After hearing Po's meowing, Souta's heart calmed down a bit, but watching his own cat fall into the bottomless well, his heart still clenched.
Souta urgently said, "Let's quickly find a bucket, tie it with a rope, and get Po out of the well."
Xiazhimaru and Bosaku Sei immediately took action, searching everywhere. Finally, they found a wooden barrel and a coil of thick rope in the shrine's warehouse.
Souta quickly secured the rope to the barrel's handle, then slowly lowered the barrel into the well.
" Po, quickly jump into the bucket, we will pull you up!" Souta shouted anxiously, gripping the rope tightly.
As the bucket continued to descend, Souta's heart also tightened. Po's cries grew fainter and fainter, almost inaudible, causing unease in Souta's heart.
Finally, he felt some weight on the other end of the rope and shouted, "Quick, Po has jumped into the bucket, Xiazhimaru, let's pull it up quickly."
Xiazhimaru immediately stepped forward, and the two of them pulled the rope with all their strength.
At first, the bucket was slowly rising, but gradually they felt the pulling force getting stronger, almost unable to move it.
Xiazhimaru was sweating profusely, panting, and said, " Souta, what did you feed Po normally? Why is Po so heavy!"
Souta was so desperate that he almost cried out, saying, "How would I know! Pull harder! Didn't you hear Po make no sound?"
Bosaku Sei's expression also became serious, and he began to help, knowing that it was not a time for jokes. He gritted his teeth and put all his strength into pulling the rope.
Just as the three of them were about to exhaust their strength, the weight of the barrel, as if on purpose, suddenly increased again!
In this way, a strange force seems to be testing their perseverance and courage.
The faces of the three are tense and strained from the effort of pulling the rope, sweat dripping from their foreheads, their eyes fixed tightly on the seemingly ordinary but unusually heavy barrel.
At that moment, they suddenly felt that the weight of the wooden barrel seemed to have lightened again. Before the three could react, the barrel was suddenly thrown upwards by an unseen force, flying out of the well.
"Be careful!" Bosaku Sei shouted, and the three quickly let go of the rope and stepped back. The barrel arced through the air and then, with a thud, landed heavily on the ground.
Three people looked at the wooden barrel with lingering fear and slowly approached. Souta looked into the barrel first and exclaimed in concern, " Po!"
Fortunately, Po was just scared and hiding in the corner of the barrel, and didn't appear to be injured.
However, when their gaze fell upon the ancient well, they discovered a strange creature, with a terrifyingly long body resembling a giant centipede, slowly crawling out from the ground.
Its eyes emitted a light of resentment and evil, as if it had not seen any living beings for many years.
"Haha... I thought that after the Shikon Jewel disappeared, there would be no more opportunities, but unexpectedly, a young man with surging spiritual power appeared, and it seems that he has not yet awakened. However... I wonder who it is? It doesn't matter, they will all obediently let me devour them!" The voice of the demon was filled with cunning and malice.
Souta and Xiazhimaru were frightened by his words and took a few steps back, while Bosaku Sei tried to maintain a calm expression, but a hint of seriousness appeared on his face as well.
Souta, Bosaku Sei, and Xiazhimaru quickly assumed a protective battle stance to defend Po, fully aware that their strength was insignificant in the face of this terrifying monster. As the monster gradually approached, each step it took caused the ground to tremble slightly, casting a despairing shadow with its enormous figure. Its gaping maw revealed terrifying fangs, emitting a chilling hiss.
Souta tightly gripped the wooden stick in his hand, while Bosaku Sei and Xiazhimaru each found something to use as a weapon. Their breath was rapid, but they knew that retreating at this moment would only bring greater danger.
The monster suddenly accelerated towards them, Bosaku Sei reacted quickly and forcefully attacked the monster's eyes with the stone in his hand. The monster was hit, emitting a muffled groan, and its speed slightly decreased. Souta and Xiazhimaru seized the opportunity to strike the monster with their weapons.
However, the monster's body was as hard as steel, and their attacks could hardly cause any substantial damage. The monster roared and swung its huge tentacles, sending Souta and Xiazhimaru flying into the ancient well.
Witnessing his companion getting injured, Bosaku Sei felt anxious, but he knew that being flustered was of no use. He took a deep breath, calmed his emotions, and began to think about how to fundamentally defeat the monster.
After confirming that no one had witnessed the scene, Bosaku Sei bit his finger and conjured a spell.
The monster roared threateningly at Bosaku Sei: "Young man, you are her descendant, come and meet your death!" The monster felt fear under the power of Bosaku Sei's spell, but quickly suppressed that feeling and became even more furious. It swiftly lunged at Bosaku Sei, intending to strike him down before the spell could be completed.
Bosaku Sei focused on the incantation, and the talisman in his hand gradually began to glow. However, the monster's speed was astonishing, and its tentacles closed in on Bosaku Sei in an instant.
At a critical moment, the monster's tentacles suddenly grabbed Bosaku Sei and lifted him up fiercely. Bosaku Sei felt immense pain but still persisted in completing his spell. When the spell erupted with a brilliant light on the monster, the powerful sealing force began to trap the monster. However, the monster possessed extraordinary strength and could still struggle even under the suppression of the sealing force, roaring as it tightly gripped Bosaku Sei, attempting to throw him into the well. As his strength dwindled, Bosaku Sei narrowly avoided falling into the well.
The body was invaded by intense pain, Bosaku Sei gritted his teeth and endured, hoping that his talisman would be enough to seal the demon. As the light grew brighter, the sealing power became stronger, finally completely sealing the monster inside. Bosaku Sei gasped in pain, slowly got up, relieved that his talisman had worked.
But immediately, he worried about Souta and Xiazhimaru who had been knocked away by the demon. Enduring the intense pain in his body, Bosaku Sei stood up reluctantly, preparing to go find them. He walked to the edge of the well and looked down. In the dark depths of the well, he unexpectedly saw a magical sky.
This incredible scene shocked Bosaku Sei. He nervously reported to his grandfather that Souta and Xiazhimaru had been thrown into the well by a monster. The grandfather appeared even more worried after hearing this, but he understood that this was not the first time such a thing had happened, and it seemed that the Bone-Eater's Well had once again opened a mysterious passage.
The grandfather asked Bosaku Sei if he could go down the well to find them. Bosaku Sei nodded in agreement, although he was worried, he knew he had to take the risk to save them. He found a long enough rope and a sturdy bucket, securely tied the rope to the bucket, and slowly lowered it into the well.
Grandpa watched anxiously from the side, while Bosaku Sei took a deep breath and carefully stood on the wooden barrel, beginning to descend. When he was halfway down, he suddenly felt a powerful force surging from the bottom of the well, pulling him down abruptly.
Bosaku Sei opened his eyes and found himself in a completely different world. Stepping out of the barrel, he looked around and realized that the sky, the earth, and even the air here were completely different from the world he was familiar with.
