"Wait for me?"
Liu Yuhan was taken aback, surprised and suddenly realizing, "You are Rys, the Elder of the Elves—Rys!"
"What a coincidence?"
Yi Tianchen and the others were astonished; this coincidence was almost unbelievable. Just as everyone focused their thoughts, a line of small text appeared on Old NPC's forehead—
Elder of the Elves? Rys!
"Then this must be the legendary Elf Forest?" Yi Tianchen's mind raced; this scene was truly magical. He asked in confusion, "Isn't this the Exile Zone?"
"Indeed, this is both the Elf Forest and the Exile Zone!"
Elder of the Elves Rys explained, "During the Holy War, along with the loss of the Elf Clan's Sacred Relic, our entire Elf Clan was extinguished in less than a decade. Tell me, where else could we find a place to stand besides this desolate Exile Zone?"
"Huh—"
Yi Tianchen chuckled speechlessly; that made sense!
As Elder of the Elves Rys returned Shattered Dream to Liu Yuhan, a beam of upgraded Golden Light Falls indicated that the first part of the quest had clearly been completed.
"Now that Shattered Dream has reappeared, you are that fated person. Everything that follows will depend on you to complete!" Elder of the Elves Rys looked at Liu Yuhan and nodded, continuing, "Though the task is daunting, I believe you can accomplish it!"
"What task?" Yi Tianchen asked.
A hint of helplessness crossed Liu Yuhan's beautiful eyes as she shared the newly received quest—
Quest Name: Mission of Legacy (Part Two)

"Uh—"
Everyone was in shock; it seemed they were heading towards the Dragon Slayer!
Yi Tianchen had an inkling of what was happening. Back when he broke the seal of the Dragon's Roar, Blacksmith Kahn had given him a Dragon Slaying Quest, mentioning that the dwarves and elves' Sacred Relics had been taken by the dragon clan.
But, the Dragon Slayer...
That was something at the pinnacle of the BOSS hierarchy, far beyond what they could handle at the moment. Although the System allowed players to match special BOSS growth starting from level 80, they would have to reach level 80 before even considering taking action!
...
After chatting with Elder of the Elves Rys for nearly half an hour, Yi Tianchen and Liu Yuhan's imagined perilous quest journey unexpectedly ended without a hitch, each returning to Southern Wilderness City, a thousand miles away.
Only One-Handed Riding in the Sky was still excited: "President, Tianchen Boss, take me along to the Dragon Slayer!"
Proud Dragon laughed: "Aren't you a Dragon Knight? Aren't you afraid the dragon clan will look down on you as a knight if you go to the Dragon Slayer?"
"Uh—perfect timing to catch a dragon to ride!"
One-Handed Riding in the Sky immediately fell into endless daydreams, imagining riding a giant dragon around; how impressive that would be! He resolutely declared, "Why don't we all push hard to reach level 80 next?"
At level 80, players could have mounts.
Of course, these mounts weren't limited to Knight Players; non-Knight Players could also obtain mounts through taming. However, under the same mount conditions, Knight Players would receive a 10% boost in attributes compared to non-Knight Players.
Undeniably, this was a tremendous temptation!
Meanwhile, in a private room of a tavern in Xiliang City, Rebellious Blood Blade wore an expression of shock and helplessness as he just received news about the current siege situation.
"Damn it!"
A nearby Swordsman Player exclaimed in disbelief: "I never expected they would pull something like this in the end. Even if they doubled their numbers, they still wouldn't be able to stop their breakout! That’s a level 63 Mighty Bull Monster!"
“Fallen Leaves Whisper and Light Cold Evening Snow are indeed not simple!” another Berserker remarked.
“President, what should we do next?”
Rebellious Blood Blade pondered for a moment, rhythmically tapping his fingers on the table before he said seriously, “Pass the word down; let’s not concern ourselves with this matter anymore. We’ve received news that Fallen Leaves Whisper and Light Cold Evening Snow have returned to Southern Wilderness City.”
“They went back?”
The swordsman exclaimed in surprise, “It seems they just broke through, right? They returned so quickly. Did they come all the way to Xiliang City just to enjoy the scenery? Damn it—they even made a fool of our people temporarily.”
“Do you want to be made a fool of again?”
“Uh…”
The swordsman choked slightly, feeling awkward. “President, that’s not what I meant. What I mean is… letting them return unscathed feels a bit off!”
“So what? Can you defeat Fallen Leaves Whisper?”
Rebellious Blood Blade’s expression remained unchanged, but a fierce glint appeared in his eyes as he continued, “Just remember this! We will settle this score sooner or later!”
“Mm!”
The two vowed silently, each making their own determination.
…
By the time they returned to Mist and Rain Commerce, it was just past four in the afternoon. Fortunately, everything had gone smoothly, and they successfully obtained the follow-up for their mission. Just as One-Handed Riding in the Sky had said, their next task was to level up; otherwise, they wouldn’t be able to advance the mission.
Liu Yuhan felt this way, and so did Yi Tianchen!
Additionally, according to Li Tielong, who stayed behind, just an hour ago, the gathering team from Mist and Rain Commerce had been robbed in Rubble Forest. Thankfully, the Brotherhood Alliance happened to pass by and, under Fallen Feather in the Sky's leadership, eliminated the troublemakers without leaving a trace.
Not a Master and Hero Does Not Question Origin also reported timely on the situation at King's Guild Base of Operations!
Now, the King's Guild Base of Operations has taken shape. It is not difficult to see from the map that it is essentially a floating city perched on the mountainside, accessible only from the west, while the southeast and north are either high mountains or steep cliffs.
Yi Tianchen suddenly smiled, "I wonder if any of you are interested in taking a tour of the King's Guild Base of Operations?"
"Haha..."
"Is that even a question? When do we set off?"
"Tonight!"
