Before Yi Tianchen stood an Ice Chamber.
The entire Ice Chamber was approximately twenty square meters in size, surrounded by translucent white ice blocks that exuded a faint chill. The ten-meter-high ice ceiling was embedded with seven magical crystals, arranged according to the coordinates of the Big Dipper, radiating a soft glow.

Court Priest Jeno gazed silently at the seemingly sleeping woman on the ice platform. His voice, though calm, could not conceal the turmoil within him. After a moment of pause, he added regretfully, "Unfortunately, despite being a Court Priest, I cannot awaken her."
Yi Tianchen remained silent, his mind racing at near-light speed to search for all game-related information about Elena. It was evident that this Elena would be the key to unraveling the entire mystery; understanding and mastering information about her was imperative.
Elena, daughter of Sommerci, princess of the Human Empire, died in the second year after the Holy War!

Letting out a breath, Yi Tianchen finally grasped the specific identity of this Elena. But how could a princess of the Human Empire end up here? It had already been a full thousand years since the second year after the Holy War!
"What does this have to do with me?"
Yi Tianchen relaxed slightly as he admired the princess's timeless beauty. He mused whether perhaps a programmer from the Zero Era had gotten drunk and woven in that story about Sleeping Beauty—requiring just a heartfelt kiss from someone to bring her back to life.

Yi Tianchen shook his head, remaining silent, as he truly did not know what to say.
"Because Princess Elena's soul has been forcibly separated from her body, even though I possess the power to reverse fate, I lack the means to restore her soul. Therefore, the only way to awaken Princess Elena is to retrieve her soul."
Upon hearing this, Yi Tianchen's heart sank. He recalled the compliment from Court Priest Jeno during their meeting, and connected it with the experiences in the Haunted Mansion and the words of the old NPC in the Exile Zone. The soul was linked to the Five Elements Soul Sealing Array.
However, what role did General Lufeng play in all of this?
Opening his quest log, Yi Tianchen reviewed the main quest titled "Awakening." The so-called earth-shattering secret preserved through the sacrifices of the Five Generals buried in historical ruins—could it refer to Princess Elena standing before him?
"Um... shouldn't you explain the whole situation?" Looking at the two before him, Yi Tianchen could only activate his help-seeking mode after pondering without results.
"The story begins like this..."
The deep voice of Lord Dolan of South Wilderness City resonated, as if he were about to recount a tale that began "Once upon a time," unfolding a little-known story.
Let us turn back time a thousand years...
The Otherworldly Race invaded, igniting the flames of war across Dreamland Continent. After a series of defeats, humanity united with the dwarves and elves to engage in a bloody struggle to defend their homeland. After ten long years of battle, the Otherworldly Race was defeated, and the withered World Tree regained its vitality.
However, although victory was achieved in battle, it did not mean that Dreamland Continent would be stable thereafter. To prevent future troubles, the gates to the Otherworld hidden deep underground had to be sealed; otherwise, once the Otherworldly Race regained their strength, another invasion war would be inevitable.
To this end, the three races combined their efforts and used a rare mineral seized from the Otherworldly Race as raw material. They forged a great door at the entrance leading from the Otherworld to Dreamland Continent using their respective powerful techniques. The remaining materials were then divided among the three races.
Afterward came the emergence of the Three Divine Weapons...
Setting aside humanity's subsequent extermination of dwarves and elves, Sommerci led his army to unify Dreamland Continent and continued to eradicate any remaining Undead lurking in its corners. The four generals were East Li City Lord Noah, Lord Dolan of Southwild City Lufeng, West Liang City Lord Asvor, and Northern Cold City Lord Kylon.
One night a year later, three individuals arrived at the residence of Lord Dolan of Southwild City Lufeng: the seasoned Guardian General Amucha, his prized disciple, the current Lord Dolan of South Wilderness City, and the third was Imperial Princess Elena, daughter of Sommerci.
At that time, Imperial Princess Elena recounted an event to Lufeng. Her father, the king of Sommerci, had once led his soldiers in pursuit of the Otherworldly Race and was besieged. It was said that no one survived that siege. After a year of confirmation, Imperial Princess Elena verified a grim truth.
Her beloved father had perished in battle over a year ago!
If Sommerci had indeed died in the fight against the Otherworldly Race a year prior, then who was it that now sat upon the imperial throne? Surrounding this perplexing question, with the help of Guardian General Amucha, Imperial Princess Elena finally uncovered the answer.
A case of usurpation!
Literally understood, it meant that a pigeon had taken over a nest that rightfully belonged to a magpie. In simpler terms, it meant that the Otherworldly Race had occupied Sommerci's "nest." To put it bluntly, Sommerci was dead, leaving behind only a lifeless body; the Otherworldly Race had employed some strange technique to seize control of this body.
At first, General Lufeng found it hard to believe. However, Imperial Princess Elena presented various ironclad pieces of evidence she had gathered over the course of a year, ultimately convincing Lord Dolan of Southwild City Lufeng, a man renowned for his military achievements and lifelong loyalty to the empire.
