Yi Tianchen was somewhat speechless; the reward seemed to have come a bit late.

Before Yi Tianchen could speak, Lord Dolan approached casually and praised him, saying, "Young warrior, you have proven that I did not misjudge you. You have done exceptionally well; everything has gone more smoothly and quickly than I initially anticipated!"
"Exceptional my foot!"
Hearing this, Yi Tianchen was momentarily stunned. Remembering the grievances he had suffered, he had no desire to listen to this unwanted praise. He nearly shouted in frustration, "What the hell is going on here? Exceptional? Do you know that I lost everything?"
"Everything indeed! Let’s not even mention the level; at least you’ve returned to level 45. Dragon's Roar is one of the Three Divine Weapons!" Yi Tianchen added, feeling a surge of anger rising despite knowing he was facing a virtual NPC.
"Haha..."
Lord Dolan remained remarkably calm, chuckling lightly as he remarked, "Yes! Dragon's Roar, one of the Three Divine Weapons, is indeed regrettable. However, rest assured, I solemnly promise that I will give you a satisfactory explanation!"

Yi Tianchen felt helpless. He had often been left speechless during this time. Listening to Lord Dolan's words provided him with some comfort, and he gradually suppressed his anger. He then pondered for a moment and asked, "Alright! But you have to tell me the inside story behind all this."

Lord Dolan of South Wilderness City said as he stepped into the cave first. Yi Tianchen quickly followed. As he entered the cave, a refreshing breeze greeted him. After walking about ten meters deeper into the cave, they descended a total of thirty stone steps.
At the bottom of the steps was a two-meter-wide passageway, with torches flickering at intervals along both sides, stretching straight for about fifty meters.
"What is this place?"
Yi Tianchen asked in surprise. He didn't know exactly where they were, but it was clear that this was an underground secret chamber. The key question was why such a secret chamber existed within the general's residence. What could possibly be hidden in this chamber?
"You'll soon find out!"
Lord Dolan of South Wilderness City said no more and continued forward. Upon reaching the end of the passage, he turned right and entered a hall that was as large as a basketball court, standing ten meters high and filled with an array of weapons—swords, spears, staffs, and crossbows of all kinds could be found here.
But this was not their destination!
Without pausing, Lord Dolan walked straight to a weapon rack and gently moved aside some weapons resting on top. Suddenly, with a loud rumble, Yi Tianchen turned his head at the sound and saw the stone wall on the left slowly shifting apart, revealing a door.
"Uh... a secret chamber within a secret chamber?"
Yi Tianchen couldn't help but be dumbfounded, and his heart stirred slightly. What could possibly be revealed next in this hidden chamber? Regardless, Yi Tianchen understood that the truth he was about to face would undoubtedly be shocking!
They continued forward, walking another thirty meters in a straight line and descending about twenty meters more. Finally, Lord Dolan of South Wilderness City came to a stop. What appeared before them was not some breathtaking sight but rather an untidy NPC!
How should one describe this NPC before them?
He had a youthful and handsome face, though his figure appeared somewhat frail. He wore a tattered robe that looked little better than that of a street beggar. His eyes, which should have been full of vitality, revealed a hint of helplessness and weariness. In his hand, he gripped a staff whose grade and material were indiscernible.

Yi Tianchen was momentarily taken aback. His understanding of this title was limited, but it was clear that the NPC before him, being a Court Priest, should not be here; he should be in the palace of the human emperor.
"Is it him?"
Court Priest Jeno scrutinized Yi Tianchen for a moment before nodding. "This young man indeed possesses a powerful force within him, though it seems he has yet to fully unleash it. However, being chosen by General Lufeng, I believe you will not disappoint us!"
Yi Tianchen was completely stunned.
He stood there speechless, glancing at Court Priest Jeno and then back at the stern Lord Dolan of South Wilderness City, utterly confused by their words. Wasn't General Lufeng a traitor? What on earth was going on?
"Youth, I know you have countless questions right now," Lord Dolan of South Wilderness City said with a slight smile, adopting a wise demeanor as he moved forward. "But soon, you will understand everything."
A grinding sound echoed as the stone walls shifted apart. Yi Tianchen felt a rush of cold air surge forth, causing him to shiver as if he had just opened the door to a refrigerator—though this refrigerator seemed quite extraordinary.
With just one glance, Yi Tianchen was left in shock!
