When it came to missions, anyone who played Zero Era knew how hard they were to come by. Yi Tianchen considered himself to have taken on quite a few tasks, but being asked to kill someone so openly was a first for him. Even the former God of War felt his heart racing for a moment.
However...

The carriage continued to race forward. After about ten minutes, the path ahead narrowed. On either side of the inner part of the hut stood two more guards, one on the left and one on the right, also holding spears. In the center of the hut stood an NPC with a sword, gazing arrogantly toward the distant west. His demeanor exuded an air of authority; he was likely the leader of this camp.
One General and six guards perfectly matched Lord Dolan of South Wilderness City's description. Coupled with this location's geography, this should be the camp they were looking for.
After pondering for a moment, Yi Tianchen made a gesture...
The group quietly crept closer, but those spear-wielding guards were not idle; they quickly noticed them and immediately called out warily, "Who goes there? State your name at once!"
With their presence exposed, there was no point in hiding anymore. Yi Tianchen stepped forward and spoke with a stern tone: "I am an envoy!"

The guards were clearly taken aback. However, their leader scanned Yi Tianchen's armband and chuckled: "So you are adventurers from Southern Wilderness City. But this place is quite dangerous; not far ahead is a gathering place for Undead. You shouldn't be here!"

"You don't need to trust me, because you wouldn't trust me anyway!"
Several guards were left confused, and even their leader seemed a bit bewildered. Yi Tianchen secretly admired them; these guys had betrayed their country and switched sides, yet they showed no sense of vigilance. It was truly a lack of professional integrity.
