If that’s the case, why are the Seven People still continuing their assault? It seems they have no regard for the Three Guilds surrounding them. Whether it's due to their lofty ambitions or their confidence in defeating the Three Guilds, this is undeniably a reckless move.
However, there is another possibility: the Seven People might be operating under a mindset of opportunism. They could be planning to take down the BOSS before the Three Guilds arrive, seizing the loot at the first opportunity, while completely disregarding their own safety.
But…
Since their goal is the BOSS and the Three Guilds are now approaching, it means that each Guild will be enemies with one another. Given this situation, while the Three Guilds eye each other warily, they will certainly be cautious of the Seven People taking down the BOSS and will not allow them to act freely.
As a result, all efforts made by the Seven People are likely to be in vain. The seven individuals were positioned in five directions, dealing roughly equal damage to the Demon Hornet King in turns.
One Knight, one Swordmaster, two Mages, and three Archers. No Priest! There was no Priest at all!
Yi Tianchen couldn't help but shudder internally; this Seven People team managed to sustain their combat effectiveness without a Priest, which was quite remarkable. The so-called five directions were controlled by the two Mages and three Archers positioned at one o'clock, three o'clock, six o'clock, nine o'clock, and eleven o'clock relative to the BOSS.

The Demon Hornet King continued to roar as its poisonous stinger lashed out wildly. This continuous damage output with added poison attributes was extremely lethal for the Seven People present, especially without any healing from a Priest; relying solely on potions for recovery might not suffice.
However, despite the Demon Hornet King's fierce attacks, its threat to the Seven People was quite limited. From a third-person perspective, Yi Tianchen and his companions could see the entire battle unfold before them; the teamwork of the Seven People was on full display.
The two Mages and three Archers continuously moved and attacked, exhibiting a clear pattern: when one retreated, another would advance. The knights and swordsmen engaged in close combat maintained a status of alternating between blocking and attacking. This strategy effectively diverted the BOSS's aggression while allowing them to preserve their own strength. Combined with the output from the five players on the periphery, they achieved an overall control effect.
Everything appeared so natural, yet this seemingly effortless scene stirred a knot of unease in Yi Tianchen's heart.
"Why is this happening?" Yi Tianchen pondered, feeling conflicted.
Beside him, The Terminator of Regrets and Not a Master wore expressions of silence. Earlier, when Yi Tianchen had sensed something amiss, he had given a warning. However, both were equally perplexed, unable to decipher what scheme lay behind this situation—or if there was even a scheme at all.
"Boss, are we misunderstanding something?" Not a Master asked, tilting his head as he followed the BOSS's movements, swaying left and right, up and down. His gaze remained fixed, and he couldn't pinpoint anything wrong.
"I still support the Boss's thoughts," The Terminator of Regrets replied with a serious expression, his brow furrowed in contemplation. "The operation of these Seven People is indeed impressive, but they wouldn't dare act so boldly under the watchful eyes of the Three Guilds. There must be a conspiracy behind this."
"That's like saying nothing at all," Not a Master scoffed dismissively.
Yi Tianchen gestured for silence to prevent further argument between the two. He then spoke softly, "There is definitely a conspiracy; what we need to do now is uncover it."
"How do we find it?" Not a Master scratched his head in frustration.
However, this was precisely the dilemma that troubled Yi Tianchen. Knowing there was a problem but being unable to identify its source was far from pleasant!
"Could it be... they're also using the BOSS's Rage?" The Terminator of Regrets recalled how Yi Tianchen had controlled the BOSS's Rage through the Five Hit Combo in the Black Magic Forest and immediately voiced this thought.
Yi Tianchen felt a jolt of realization but did not immediately dismiss it. Instead, he began comparing this idea with the details of the current battle. If that were true, then who was responsible for this Five Hit Combo? Where would their breakout point be?
Quickly, Yi Tianchen's gaze locked onto the Fifth Position. It was an archer whose arrows had been continuously attacking; however, their damage output was the lowest among the five players, perfectly fitting the criteria for avoiding aggro accumulation.
With this discovery, Yi Tianchen felt he had drawn closer to the truth. But where was their breakout point? Was it possible that these Seven People truly intended to risk their lives just to push down the BOSS and claim loot as their victory?
But if that were the case, how could they be sure that the people from the Three Guilds would allow them to whittle down the BOSS to its last bits of health?
No, this line of thinking was clearly flawed.
"Boss, I don't think there's any conspiracy. Who would dare to act recklessly in front of the Three Guilds?" Not a Master said firmly.
"Three Guilds?"
Yi Tianchen felt a jolt in his heart, suddenly realizing that the issue lay with the Three Guilds! It was precisely because of their existence that a strange cycle of mutual restraint had formed. No matter who took the first step, it would inevitably lead to a chaotic battle.
Undeniably, if that were true, then the Seven People in the arena would disregard their lives solely to take down the BOSS and claim the loot. This strategy now had the conditions to be realized.
The condition was chaos!
And due to the mutual restraint among the Three Guilds, the initiative in this war had effectively shifted to the Seven People in the arena. The side they ultimately chose would undoubtedly be their point of breakthrough, rising amidst the chaos and taking action; it was even possible for them to escape unscathed.
"Wait, there are not just seven of them; there’s also the Eighth Person!"
