In the dense, uncharted jungle, a tree large enough for a single person to embrace shot up toward the sky. Over thirty yards above the ground, Yi Tianchen was replying to Liu Yuhan's messages while gazing into the distance.
As the ancient saying goes, standing high allows one to see far!
Ahead lay an endless expanse of thick jungle, clusters of leaves resembling clouds in the sky, gathering abruptly and layering upon one another. The western sky was darkening as the sun dipped behind the highest peaks, with only golden rays piercing through from either side, sharp as a sword.

"Damn! His speed is even faster than mine; that’s impossible!" The right-side assassin scratched his head and said, "He can't be too far; let's chase after him!"
The two figures quickly disappeared from sight. Only then did Yi Tianchen stand up, spreading his legs in a V-shape on two branches. Opening the large map, he noted that he was slightly north of due west from Southern Wilderness City, a full forty-six miles away.
In other words, after traveling another four miles, Yi Tianchen would exit the public area within a fifty-mile radius of Southern Wilderness City and enter a completely blank and dangerous zone.

After admiring his handiwork for a moment, Yi Tianchen laughed heartily and continued deeper into the forest.
As the name suggested, this was a forest thick with fog. Yi Tianchen estimated that visibility was no more than 20 meters; all he could see was a vast expanse of white, making it very easy to get lost and ideal for ambushes.

Yi Tianchen felt a blur in front of him as the Forest Wanderer swooped in, its heavy sword radiating with dazzling skill light, descending from the sky—
