In the depths of the forest, a gentle Mountain Breeze rustled through the leaves.
Cautiously observing his surroundings, Yi Tianchen dragged his Wild Fury for a while but hadn’t encountered even a single bird. The solitude made him feel a bit anxious, especially in this deep, dark forest where there were no signs of monsters or people.
Suddenly, a crow cawed loudly, followed by a chilling roar.
Yi Tianchen froze for a moment, puzzled, when he heard an incredibly invigorating voice from the dense thicket to his left: “Hahaha… almost there! This guy is down to just skin and bones; everyone put in a little more effort, and we’ll take it down!”
A BOSS?
The thought flashed through his mind, and Yi Tianchen couldn’t help but brighten up. Since there was a BOSS, he had to go take a look.
With his mind made up, Yi Tianchen temporarily unequipped his Wild Fury. It was too heavy and not only slowed him down significantly but also made it easy to reveal his position.
He stepped into the Wolf Demon Boots, crushing countless blades of grass beneath him. Yi Tianchen continued to accelerate forward, deftly maneuvering through thickets of Bushes until he finally arrived near the source of the sound, hidden behind some bushes.
Taking a deep breath and holding it, Yi Tianchen carefully pushed aside the bushes blocking his view. In a slightly open area, five players were fiercely attacking a nearly three-meter-tall Minotaur.
Upon closer inspection, he noticed that the one at the forefront, dealing the most damage, was a Berserker wielding a heavy sword. This immediately left a strong impression on Yi Tianchen!
The other four included two swordsmen, an assassin, and an archer. Since Yi Tianchen had the advantage of a god's perspective, he quickly noticed the archer's somewhat suspicious behavior. Clearly, that guy was slacking off, letting the four in front bear the brunt while he took advantage to reap the most rewards.
What surprised Yi Tianchen was that just after leaving the Magic Stone Tower for a short while, he had already encountered a BOSS. Excitedly, he quickly concealed himself and prepared to identify the Minotaur for free—

As a level 25 Black Iron Boss, defeating it should be a piece of cake for Yi Tianchen given his current level and equipment. However, he is a law-abiding citizen; although he enjoys battling bosses, he would never engage in stealing them—except when it comes to enemies!
Just as Yi Tianchen was lost in thought, an unwilling roar suddenly erupted: “Damn... this guy seems to be mutating. Everyone be careful!”
“Mutating?”
Yi Tianchen was momentarily taken aback. Rage or mutation are phenomena that only occur at low probabilities when a boss is on the brink of death. Although he understood this concept, he had never encountered it before. Hearing the term "mutation" suddenly piqued his interest.
Upon closer inspection, the Minotaur Leader in the arena was enveloped in a thick layer of golden light, standing proudly and exuding an overwhelming aura. This was the process of the monster's mutation, and when the golden light dissipated, it would be the moment for its beastly nature to unleash vengeance.
"Roar..."
The Minotaur Leader, surrounded by golden light, continuously let out furious roars. The once dark mace in its hand transformed into a blood-red weapon under the golden glow. Its bull-like eyes, the size of copper bells, bulged with bloodshot veins, looking quite terrifying.
In front of the Minotaur Leader, the Berserkers were already pale with fear, staring helplessly.
Before long, the mutation was successfully completed, and the Minotaur Leader had risen from level 25 to level 28. However, its Grade remained at Iron Grade and did not trigger an upgrade.
At that moment, as the Minotaur Leader completed its mutation, the Berserker did not hesitate to swing his heavy sword at it. Yet Yi Tianchen understood that this Berserker was not charging forward on his own but was pushed by the archer behind him.

The Berserker exclaimed in terror as he collided with the mutated Minotaur Leader. In a moment of panic, he had no choice but to raise his sword to block.
The archer's intentions were clear; facing the now unstoppable Mutated Bullhead Leader, he decisively chose to abandon his teammate. But their abandonment did not mean that the Mutated Bullhead Leader would relent. At such a critical moment, someone had to hold back the Mutated Bullhead Leader to buy time for their escape.
Clearly, the Berserker was that sacrificial pawn!
However, that archer was truly ruthless; pushing his teammate into danger without a word was not something just anyone could do!
Yi Tianchen shook his head in disbelief, feeling resolute. As a great and upright Hell Swordsman with a strong sense of justice, he had to look down upon such people!
The outcome was predictable; facing the mutated Minotaur Leader, the Berserker was completely overwhelmed. After taking a hit from the Mutated Bullhead Leader, his Health Points plummeted significantly. While gulping down potions and attempting to flee, he shot a fierce glare at the archer and shouted, "Damn you! Even if I become a ghost, I won't let you off!"
The archer chuckled smugly, seeing his plan succeed. He replied without hesitation, "Every man for himself! Don’t blame me for this; I’m outta here!"
As the Archer left, the remaining three players dared not stay any longer and hurriedly fled, leaving no trace behind. The Berserker was sweating profusely; despite holding the aggro, he simply couldn't shake it off. To make matters worse, the Berserker's Agility was low, making escape impossible.
In that moment, Yi Tianchen couldn't help but admire the Archer's cunning. Why had he chosen the Berserker as his target? The answer was evident in front of him.
Fight? No chance of winning. Run? No chance of escaping!
“Boom…”
After the four players had run away, the terrifying club of the Mutated Bullhead Leader seemed to have a radar-like tracking system, continuously blasting up clouds of dirt around the Berserker.
Not only was the Berserker being relentlessly pursued, but even Yi Tianchen, watching from a distance, was deeply shocked by the Mutated Bullhead Leader's terrifying power.
In less than twenty seconds, the Berserker was left with only a sliver of health. Seeing his desperate expression, it was likely that his healing potions were on cooldown. However, there is a saying: when faced with unavoidable death, one can unleash their inner courage and potential to the fullest.
Since there was no way to turn back now, he absolutely could not let his opponent have an easy time!
Perhaps this was the mindset the Berserker held at that moment; instead of continuing to evade, he charged directly at the enemy. But before his weapon could even reach the Mutated Bullhead Leader, that massive club had already sent him flying.
Then, with a furious roar from the Mutated Bullhead Leader, it charged at the Berserker while its club glowed with dazzling Skill Radiance, coming down towards the Berserker’s head with devastating force.
“It’s over…”
The Berserker calmly uttered those words, resigned to his fate. However, just as the Mutated Bullhead Leader rushed forward, two sharp sounds echoed as two clumps of dirt suddenly erupted from the ground, revealing two pale skeletal arms that tightly grasped the Mutated Bullhead Leader.

With a sinking feeling in his heart, Yi Tianchen quickly drew his weapon, Wilds' Fury, and dashed forward. As his skill successfully activated and took effect, although the Mutated Bullhead Leader was powerful, it was instantly bound in place. The massive club halted just ten centimeters above the Berserker's head.

In the unfolding chaos, a dark circle suddenly descended, while the Wrath of the Wilderness was raised high. A dazzling golden light burst forth, sharply tearing through the flesh of the Mutated Bullhead Leader---

In less than a minute, after a desperate roar, the massive body of the Mutated Bullhead Leader fell heavily to the ground, shaking the earth beneath it.
Behind him, Berserker was in tears, unable to help but say, “Big brother, you didn’t team up with me!”
“The equipment is yours!”
Yi Tianchen glanced at the Berserker, who had monopolized all the experience from the boss and had no shortage of equipment, leaving the Berserker feeling quite pleased.
Upon hearing this, the Berserker immediately forgot about not receiving any experience. Yi Tianchen only felt a shadow flash before him as the Berserker rushed a few steps to the corpse of the Mutated Bullhead Leader, eagerly grabbing pieces of equipment and letting out a loud roar of excitement.
