Stinky Fish scratched his head and chuckled, "Li Tielong, I think we don’t need to roll for anything. One piece is heavy on defense and the other on attack; let’s just take what we need!"
"Exactly what I was thinking!"
Li Tielong laughed heartily, stepping forward to take the two pieces of equipment from Yi Tianchen's hands before handing the Leggings to Stinky Fish.
After distributing the equipment, Yi Tianchen picked up the twelve gold coins dropped by the Evil Goblin Chief and distributed them among Mu Wanqing and Far Apart. As a priest, while their mana consumption wasn't as high as that of mages, it was still significant compared to physical classes like Yi Tianchen's.
As time passed, Yi Tianchen and his companions continued to sweep through the mysterious underground space, searching for an exit. With each evil goblin that fell, their experience points surged. After just about an hour, they all leveled up.
However, the one who gained the most was Yi Tianchen!
His attack power was the highest among the eight, and he had slain the most monsters. According to the rule that the one who kills a monster receives 50% of the total experience, combined with the additional experience bonuses from his teammates and a 30% increase from the Southern Wilderness City Warrior Medal, his experience points skyrocketed.
As they wandered deeper, Yi Tianchen and his group arrived at a cluster of dense and massive roots. It was clear that this was the central location of the entire underground Forest of Single Trees. Among the tangled roots, a glimmering light shimmered.
Yi Tianchen stared in surprise and was the first to approach with his Wild Fury. However, it turned out to be nothing more than sunlight filtering down from above.

Li Tielong and the others exchanged glances but remained noncommittal. The entire underground space was enclosed, and the stone path they descended was too smooth to climb back up. Thanks to these vines, otherwise they would have been stuck here indefinitely.
“Alright then, since we’ve found our way out, let’s quickly clear out any remaining monsters and head back!”
Yi Tianchen turned around and everyone nodded in agreement, quickly beginning the cleanup of the remaining evil goblins.
Continuing with the previous tactics, Hero Does Not Question Origin and Li Tielong took the lead while the others focused on offense. With their levels having increased, Yi Tianchen and the others could now handle five evil goblins at once, significantly improving their efficiency in monster hunting.

The shadows of swords danced as the evil goblins screeched, continuously transforming into heaps of valuable experience that filled their experience bars!

The thought of dying at the hands of this beast for the second time left Yi Tianchen feeling extremely unwilling!
"Tianchen, there’s no other way; we all need to get to the roots of the tree!" Liu Yuhan said coldly, her gaze resolute.
Yi Tianchen was taken aback as he looked at the dense roots above him. Suddenly, he slapped his thigh and shouted, "Everyone, get up there!"
It was evident that although these roots were thickly clustered, they were relatively thin. The body of the Three-Headed Spirit Serpent was far too massive and heavy; ordinary roots simply couldn't support its weight.
