That night, the visibility was clear enough to see five fingers, yet everything appeared hazy.
"Coocoo..."
Unknown birds and beasts called out, adding a touch of mystery to the forest under the night sky. The evening breeze gently rustled the leaves, deepening the surrounding silence.
Deep in the woods, beneath a sturdy tree, Yi Tianchen knelt on one knee, his gaze sharp as he remained alert to any movement around him. The Wilderness Fury was planted thirty centimeters in front of him, ready to spring into action at any moment.
Behind him, Liu Yuhan crouched nearby, fiddling with several green vines. Before long, a Vine Ring appeared in her delicate hands, adorned with tender green leaves.
"What are you weaving that Vine Ring for? Planning to engage in guerrilla tactics?" Yi Tianchen asked, puzzled, recalling the mountain guerrilla warfare from years ago.
Liu Yuhan smiled sweetly, ignoring Yi Tianchen's confusion. Instead, she placed the Vine Ring directly on his head and examined it closely. "Now your Red Name Indicator is hidden!"
"Oh?"
Yi Tianchen was taken aback, his eyes widening as he looked up. Indeed, the blood-red crossed swords of the Red Name Indicator were concealed within the Vine Ring, leaving him utterly astonished!
"Do you see that big tree ahead?" Liu Yuhan pointed to a towering tree in the distance that one person could not wrap their arms around. She calmly said, "When I give the signal, be ready to hunt!"
"Huh... You can do this too?" Yi Tianchen paused for a moment but quickly grasped Liu Yuhan's intentions and nodded. "Just be careful!"

Liu Yuhan put away her bow and arrow and activated her Swift Shadow skill, her figure darting through the air like the wind. Yi Tianchen focused on the mini-map; a blue dot was moving rapidly along a strange undulating path toward that big tree.
Due to its size, Liu Yuhan couldn't climb directly up; instead, she used smaller surrounding trees as steps to transition through the air.
"It seems this will be an unforgettable night!"
Yi Tianchen muttered to himself as he tightened his grip on the Wilderness Fury. He held his breath and concentrated, filtering out the chaotic sounds around him to catch the rhythm of their pursuit. A cruel smile crept onto his lips.
“Clap, clap, clap…”
With the Fury of the Wilderness strapped to his back, Yi Tianchen nimbly climbed up a three-meter-tall tree. Although the tree was not very thick, its branches were densely packed, interwoven with green leaves, making it difficult to spot him while he was hidden among them.
Soon, an angry voice echoed from below: “The boss has spoken. If we don’t kill that kid, we might as well forget about our lives!”
Yi Tianchen held his breath, using the voice to gauge the position and approximate distance of the approaching figure. Before long, a lewd silhouette suddenly appeared beneath the tree. Upon closer inspection, it was an assassin, gripping a dagger and cautiously making his way toward Yi Tianchen's location.
For a moment, Yi Tianchen dared not make a sound, fearing that he might inadvertently alert this keen-eyed assassin. However, it was clear that despite the assassin's extreme vigilance and careful steps, he had overlooked the danger looming above him.
The assassin soon entered the attack range, causing Yi Tianchen to feel a bead of sweat form in his palm.

A sudden rustling broke the silence of the forest, like a stone thrown into a calm lake.
The assassin looked up and froze in shock. He probably never imagined that Yi Tianchen would suddenly appear above him and deliver a fatal blow!
However, things did not unfold as smoothly as expected. Just as Yi Tianchen leaped down, he unexpectedly tripped over a branch beneath him, causing his body to lose balance and veer off course by more than a yard.
“Oh no, I kicked a branch!”
Yi Tianchen gasped in alarm, silently cursing himself. Who said dense branches were always a good thing?
As a result of this one-yard deviation, Yi Tianchen ended up crashing down awkwardly onto the ground instead of landing on his target. He missed his ambush completely and suffered over 500 points of Vitality damage from the fall.

A surprising sound suddenly erupted from behind the assassin. At the same time, a gust of wind roared, signaling a deadly attack that descended in an instant.
Yi Tianchen's heart tightened as he sensed the sharp whoosh of air slicing through the space behind him. He quickly leaned to the side, just in time to see a dagger, emanating a chilling aura, thrust down toward him. With a loud thud, it buried itself deep into the ground, leaving only the hilt exposed.
Yi Tianchen couldn't help but gasp; this bastard was ruthless!
Meanwhile, the assassin was equally stunned, clearly taken aback by Yi Tianchen's timely evasion. Without hesitation, Yi Tianchen launched a swift upward strike, his weapon cutting through the air with a fierce wind, directly slashing across the assassin's neck.
Critical Hit! -1810!
The assassin let out a cry of alarm and yanked at the dagger, only to comically find that he couldn't pull it free. In that moment of hesitation, Yi Tianchen struck again, landing a solid blow that drained most of the assassin's health points in an instant.
"Seeking death!"
With a cold voice, Yi Tianchen unleashed three quick strikes. One hit home while two missed their mark. After a pained scream, the assassin fell to his knees without any chance of recovery, dropping 18 Silver Coins.
Yi Tianchen's eyes lit up as he quickly scooped up the coins and tossed them into his bag. He then heard Liu Yuhan's voice come through the team channel: "You're such an idiot; hurry up and run!"
"That was a mistake!"
While explaining himself, Yi Tianchen executed several rapid movements and leaped into a nearby bush. Moments later, three or four players appeared, each wielding weapons.
But all they found was the cold corpse of the assassin!
"Damn it, this kid is too cunning. Pass the word down; have our brothers pair up. If they spot this kid again, they need to report it in the team channel immediately." A swordsman glanced around angrily, clearly intent on not resting until Yi Tianchen was dealt with.

A branch snapped underfoot, the faint sound echoing clearly in the stillness of the forest.

In the end, Yi Tianchen gripped his weapon, the Wild Fury, tightly.

In the depths of the tranquil forest, with a sound that tore through the air, the Wild Fury shot forth like an arrow released from a bow, gleaming with a striking light as it soared away!

The two players ahead were taken aback by this sudden turn of events, their mouths agape in disbelief as if they had witnessed a miracle.
