The first thing that caught Yi Tianchen's eye was a man wielding a long sword!
This man was tall, like an iron tower, clad in Silver Radiant Battle Armor that shimmered with dazzling light. His long White Hair cascaded from beneath his helmet, flowing in the air like a wisp of cloud, adding an ethereal quality to his presence.
What was most astonishing was that he was floating in mid-air, without any visible support, as if unaffected by gravity. A halo of mesmerizing light surrounded him, and the long sword in his hand emitted waves of golden brilliance; each swing left behind stunning afterimages.
Yi Tianchen was taken aback. Golden Equipment?
Suddenly, the man swung his sword, gathering a shimmering Magic Shield in front of him. With a fierce shout, he slashed forward, sending a wave of golden sword energy surging ahead. Against the backdrop of the dark night, it was exceptionally bright and eye-catching.
Following the path of the golden sword energy, Yi Tianchen saw another man standing on a tree, also wielding a long sword. He was encased in black armor, with only his cold eyes visible. Those icy gazes seemed to come straight from hell.
“Give up, you pathetic Undead!” The metallic voice came from the Silver Armored Man.
Yi Tianchen was shocked again; this was clearly a synthesized voice!
“Luo En, if it weren't for your treachery three days ago, you wouldn't stand a chance against me! But even so, you cannot defeat me!” The Black Armored Man roared as fierce black sword energy surged forth with lightning speed from his heavy sword.
“Boom…”
The rapid collision of their powers triggered an earth-shattering explosion. The unleashed sword energy sliced through the air like countless razor-sharp blades, instantly shredding branches and leaves that fell like snowflakes.
Yi Tianchen stared in shock, momentarily dumbfounded. As his thoughts raced, he quickly activated the recording function on his device. He pondered silently; such an exhilarating Battle would be a shame to go unwitnessed.
At the same time, Yi Tianchen immediately thought of Lord Dolan of South Wilderness City and gained a preliminary understanding of the two figures before him. The game data included similar descriptions, but players preferred to refer to them as Ultimate Bosses.
In the Zero Era, BOSSes were categorized into two types.
The first category consists of the leaders from various Monster Groups. These bosses can be further divided into two subcategories: beast bosses and humanoid bosses. In comparison, humanoid bosses possess a certain level of intelligence and their attributes are generally superior.
The other category of bosses represents the most powerful beings in the Zero Era, such as the Black Armored Man and the Silver Armored Man, along with other legendary monsters like dragons.
The most significant characteristic of these bosses is their uniqueness; their names embody their entire existence. Unlike Goblin Bosses or other common monsters that merely signify a standout individual within a species, these bosses cannot respawn after being defeated by players.
Moreover, these bosses often relate to a particular history. Each of them has a reason for existing, intertwined with hidden narratives or the overarching plot and background of the game.
In summary, they do not appear on this continent without cause. If they happen to fall in battle, they will vanish forever from the history of the Zero Era.
"Azure Abyss, I advise you to give up. Evil cannot triumph over good; this is an unchanging truth in the universe. All struggles are merely the last gasps of desperation. The existence of light is meant to dispel darkness; awaken to this reality!" The voice of the Silver Armored Man echoed again, his longsword relentless as he unleashed skill after skill without any sign of stopping.
"Hmph! Even in death, the great Hell Swordsman will not perish at the hands of a petty villain like you. Luo En, you overestimate your own strength; killing me will not be so simple!" The Black Armored Man retorted angrily, followed by a roar as he conjured a magical shield in front of him. With a swing of his longsword, he released waves of black sword energy that surged forth like towering waves.
Yi Tianchen was thrilled; he had finally confirmed that the Black Armored Man before him was indeed the Hell Swordsman—Azure Abyss!
Looking at the massive longsword held by Hell Swordsman Azure Abyss, it was clear that it was no ordinary weapon. In the classification of weapons within the Zero Era, it was known as a heavy sword, belonging to the Heavy Weapon category.
Heavy Weapons have an attack power increase of 5% to 20% compared to other weapons of the same level and grade. However, due to their cumbersome nature, only Berserkers with a strength growth rate of 12 can effectively wield Heavy Weapons among the eight major classes in the Zero Era.
Since Hell Swordsman belongs to the Undead faction and the Holy War originated from conflicts involving Undead creatures, battles against Undead have never truly ceased. This provides context for the current confrontation; Luo En's earlier statement about light existing to dispel darkness explains everything.
However, it was evident that no one could predict how this battle would unfold. The scales of victory remained balanced in the center, not tipping toward either side. Additionally, at this moment, an unforeseen variable emerged—an unpredictable factor.
Yi Tianchen!
After contemplating the situation before him, Yi Tianchen gradually calmed down. Witnessing a battle between two ultimate bosses was not something one could encounter by mere luck.
Of course, from Yi Tianchen's perspective, he wholeheartedly supported the Hell Swordsman. After all, this particular Hell Swordsman was unique! If he were to accidentally fall in battle, who would Yi Tianchen turn to for a class change to Hell Swordsman? It would surely break his heart.
In that brief moment, the battle underwent subtle changes.
First, the power fluctuations of Hell Swordsman Azure Abyss became increasingly faint; they were no longer as fierce as at the beginning. However, his opponent, Luo En, was not faring much better either. The light screen before him had been shattered multiple times, and the power he infused was gradually weakening.
Yi Tianchen was slightly shocked. Given the current state of things, it seemed that both combatants were struggling to hold on. Was this epic battle about to come to an end?
Suddenly, a thunderous roar erupted from Hell Swordsman Azure Abyss, followed by the release of brilliant and massive black sword energy. To make matters worse, while unleashing this sword energy, Hell Swordsman Azure Abyss began to chant a cryptic incantation.
Yi Tianchen did not know what skill this was, but he at least understood one thing: 99% of melee class skills did not require incantations.
What about the remaining 1%?
The game officials described it as follows: when a martial technique merges with mysterious magic, the new skill that emerges will possess incredible destructive power—this is known as a magical martial technique!
The power of magical martial techniques could rival that of Forbidden Spells; it was just that their area of effect was not as vast.
In an instant, the black sword energy surged forth like a pack of wolves, sweeping across in wave after wave with lightning speed. After being struck several times, Luo En found himself in a dire situation; even his formidable silver armor bore numerous cracks from the onslaught.

Stepping out of Hell Swordsman Azure Abyss's attack range, he raised his longsword high and began to chant an incantation as well.
"O great God of Light, I call upon your power in the name of Light Sage..."
As Luo En's incantation echoed through the air, boundless holy light surged between heaven and earth. Countless visible magical particles of light flowed toward the longsword in Luo En's hand, instantly forming a massive white sphere.
At the same time, as Luo En recited the spell, Hell Swordsman Azure Abyss felt a sudden seriousness flash in his deep blue eyes. He swung his heavy sword, creating a whistling sound as it cut through the air, and began to chant his own incantation.
Yi Tianchen, though he understood not a word, sensed one undeniable truth: an immense danger was about to descend!
Soon, with the swirling of Hell Swordsman Azure Abyss's heavy sword and the rising of his spell, countless dark magic particles joyfully surged from the surroundings, madly rushing toward the heavy sword in his hand, coalescing into a gigantic black energy sphere.
What unfolded next was beyond Yi Tianchen's imagination. The two bosses were unleashing their ultimate moves. With his level 13 character, even if he was currently ranked first on the level leaderboard, what could he do? At this moment, even dying ten thousand times would be utterly insufficient!
Finally, before Yi Tianchen could comprehend anything further, the incantations of both bosses reached completion almost simultaneously. A white sphere of light met a black sphere of energy in midair.
"Damn it, there's no time!" Tears streamed down Yi Tianchen's face as he hurriedly rolled and crawled over the hillside, praying fervently in his heart: Please don't let me die!
This was his only prayer before closing his eyes.
