The formation leading to the Eight Gates of Immortal Trapping Formation was, to put it simply, just a means of using Heaven and Earth Spiritual Energy to trap Ye Huan and Yu Wuxia within. According to Ye Huan's earlier thoughts, if the Dongfeng-4 missile could destroy a third of the Southern Xiongnu Empire Palace, then surely it could break such a small formation.
