Seeing the awkwardness between Yu Xiang'er and Ye Huan, Yu Wuxia helplessly rubbed his forehead and smiled wryly at Yu Xiang'er. "Xiang'er, you should step outside for a moment! I need to talk to Ye Huan."
"Dad..."
Displaying an unwilling demeanor, Yu Xiang'er seemed reluctant to let Ye Huan off so easily. She even stomped her foot in frustration.
"Go outside!"
Unmoved by Yu Xiang'er’s expression, Yu Wuxia spoke with unusual firmness. Angered, Yu Xiang'er shot a resentful glance at Ye Huan before slowly stepping away.
Once Yu Xiang'er had left, Ye Huan finally let out a sigh of relief. He considered probing Yu Wuxia about the matter, but to his surprise, Yu Wuxia immediately addressed him directly, saying, "Ye Huan, you pushed Yan Yue off the cliff, didn't you? No need to hide it from me; among the disciples in Yu Void Palace, I doubt anyone else would have the guts to do it."
"Heh heh, old man, your insight is quite sharp. That's right; I was the one who pushed him off the cliff. After all, he kept causing me trouble," Ye Huan replied with a shrug. A hint of longing appeared on his face as he spoke to Ye Huan about the Sunfire Sect and Water Moon Palace. Despite being the leader of Yu Void Palace, Yu Wuxia couldn't help but clench his fists.
