"Classmate, are you okay?" The increasingly anxious voice echoed in Li Xiao's ears, getting closer and closer. It seemed like Li Xiao had just come back to her senses. She lifted her head and, through the hair covering her face, vaguely saw the boy standing in front of her. He was wearing a simple white undershirt, school uniform pants, and a pair of black canvas shoes. His backpack was thrown on the ground, his hair was messy, and his black and blue school uniform pants were covered in a large amount of dust, particularly noticeable. His arm reaching out to her was also covered in a lot of dust, but his fingers were long and the joints were distinct. In the light, you could almost see the slender blue veins on the back of his hand. 0

She recognized him, the boy who was good at basketball, the one who often appeared at the staircase. 0

"It's okay, no problem." Li Xiao is not a very outgoing girl. She only feels natural and comfortable within her familiar circle. In front of unfamiliar people, she is reserved and even unnatural. Besides basic polite conversation, she rarely takes the initiative to find topics to communicate with others. 0

The current situation is unexpected for her. At this moment, she just wants to end this situation as soon as possible. So, even though the pain in her ankle is hard to ignore, she continues to act as if everything is fine, just wanting to leave as soon as possible. 0

She did not take his outstretched hand, but instead slowly stood up, leaning against the wall of the corridor. 0

Jiang Yan can tell that she is seriously injured. He wants to support her, but he can also see her resistance. He reaches out his hand to lightly touch her back, watching as she frowns and slowly stands up, dusting herself off without once looking at him, the "culprit." He feels at a loss, unsure of what to do in this frozen moment. 0

"Classmate, I'm really sorry. Can I take you to the hospital for a check-up?" He looks down at Li Xiao, but can't read her expression. Suddenly, she lifts her head and looks at herself, her voice clear. 0

"It's okay, it's my fault too. I was too focused on my phone and didn't watch where I was going." Her voice is clear, her gaze determined. Jiang Yan can tell that she truly doesn't blame him, and even believes she shares some responsibility. 0

However, Jiang Yan knew that he was the "greatest fault party" in this accident. His conscience and basic moral qualities did not allow him to act as if nothing had happened. Just as he was about to say something, the girl opposite him spoke first. "Are you injured? Do you need to go to the hospital for a check-up?" 0

Suddenly asking the question made Jiang Yan pause for a moment. 0
"No, I'm fine," he said. 0
"If everything is fine, then I'll leave first," she said, picking up her backpack and preparing to leave. But it seemed like she suddenly remembered something, as her eyes kept searching the ground around her. 0

Jiang Yan seemed to suddenly understand what she was looking for. He ran a few steps to the stairs, picked up the English vocabulary book that had been knocked over, dusted it off, and handed it to her. Her eyes lit up as she took the book, flipped through its contents, and then stuffed it into her backpack. Looking up at him, she said, "Thank you, I'll go first." 0

Just as she lifted her foot to leave, the pain in her ankle reminded her, and she couldn't help but let out a "hiss" sound. 0
Jiang Yan stood in front of him, his tall figure blocking the radiant light, casting a shadow over her completely, making her features more distinct, and the furrowed brow more pronounced. 0
"Maybe you should go to the hospital to have it checked out. It's difficult to walk like this." 0

"It's okay, I'll just go back and apply some ice." She said as she was about to leave. 0
"Then leave me your contact information. If you have any problems, contact me again. I will take responsibility," he said earnestly, but Li Xiao just wanted to leave as soon as possible. 0
"No need, it's not a big problem. I'll handle it when I get back." 0

Seeing her rejection, he grabbed his backpack and pulled out his notebook, quickly scribbled something down, tore it out, and handed it to her. 0
"Here's my phone number. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me anytime." 0
