For a long time, experience had taught Ye Huan that Weiyang's decisions were ninety-nine percent unreliable. However, adhering to the principle of trusting his companions, Ye Huan chose to follow Weiyang's plan despite having no ideas of his own. 0

This time, though, Weiyang was clearly serious. He intended to return to the royal capital alone and ask his grandfather, the president of the Mage Association, to handle the matter, although it might take about a month. 0

Han Xuan and Han Lin had no objections to this. While Ye Huan felt a bit reluctant about Weiyang's departure, he reminded himself that they would meet again eventually. He swallowed his feelings and sent Weiyang off after advising him to be careful. To ensure Weiyang's safety, Han Xuan even arranged for two male bodyguards, which only led to Weiyang's frustration since he preferred not to have male protectors. 0

After Weiyang left, Ye Huan and Zhang Ren found themselves without a destination. After some discussion among the group, Han Xuan decided to take Ye Huan and Zhang Ren to the Han family home and sent someone to help Ye Huan locate members of the Ye Family, which drew complaints from Han Lin. 0

The next day, on the road to Flame Sun City, one of the four major cities in the Southern Xiongnu Empire, Ye Huan and Zhang Ren rode their tall horses, curiously looking around while Han Xuan and Han Lin accompanied them. 0

"I say, Han Xuan, how long until we reach this Flame Sun City you mentioned?" Under the blazing sun, Ye Huan was drenched in sweat and asked Han Xuan in frustration. 0

Before Han Xuan could respond, Han Lin, who had been irritated by Ye Huan all day, scoffed and interjected, "Hmph! No one asked you to come along!" 0

Ye Huan had endured this guy for an entire day. He had wanted many times to let Han Lin experience what a Desert Eagle bullet felt like. But considering he still needed Han Xuan's help in finding members of the Ye Family, he had kept his anger bottled up. Now, however, he felt an urge to vent his frustration and shouted at Han Lin, "Are you even a man? My brother went to save your woman and you're here making snide remarks? I challenge you! Let's duel!" 0

With that, Ye Huan jumped down from his horse. At the same time, Zhang Ren noticed the situation and followed suit, landing on the ground with his Ring-Handled Saber drawn coldly at Han Lin. Clearly, he shared similar sentiments towards this guy. 0

"A duel? Fine! I want to see what you're made of! That Fat Mage is gone now; with just a Fifth-Level Warrior and a Fourth-Level Summoner here today, I'll show you both my strength." Perhaps due to the unusually hot weather that day, Han Lin seemed irritable as he drew his longsword from its sheath and leaped lightly four meters in front of Ye Huan. 0

Seeing this unfold, Han Xuan helplessly rubbed his forehead as a few strands of hair fell into his eyes. Just as he was about to intervene, Ye Huan instructed Zhang Ren, "Zhang Ren, take care of Han Xuan for me. No matter what happens, stop him! Watch how I deal with this old fool today." 0

Old fool? 0

Hearing Ye Huan refer to him in such a way made Han Lin furious. After all, he was still under forty years old—very much in his prime—and certainly not an old fool! Gritting his teeth in anger, Han Lin's longsword began to glow faintly with white light as he prepared to teach Ye Huan a lesson with sword energy. 0

With a dismissive smile, Ye Huan didn't bother with pleasantries. He summoned four or five Flashbangs into his hands while putting on a pair of sunglasses. 0

Pulling the pin from one of the Flashbangs, Ye Huan threw it without regard for Zhang Ren or Han Xuan standing nearby. Zhang Ren was fine; having grown accustomed to Flashbangs before, he closed his eyes when he saw Ye Huan pull the pin. However, both Han Xuan and Han Lin were caught off guard by a blinding flash of light that forced them to shut their eyes. 0

Noticing that Han Lin had closed his eyes, Ye Huan didn't intend to actually take his life. Instead, he picked up a stone about the size of a brick and aimed for Han Lin's wrist holding the sword. With a thud upon impact, Han Lin's hand shook slightly; however, he did not drop the sword—rather, the sword energy dissipated. 0

Satisfied with this outcome, Ye Huan threw another Flashbang before scampering over to remove the sword sheath from Han Lin's horse. 0

After finishing all this, holding the sword sheath in his hand, Ye Huan smiled at Han Lin, who had just opened his eyes. He said, "Han Lin, are we still going to fight? Do you believe I will hit your backside with this sword sheath?" 0

"You are too much!" Hearing Ye Huan's words, Han Lin could no longer hold back. He jumped up over two meters high and swung his long sword at Ye Huan. However, Ye Huan had already prepared a tear gas canister while Han Lin was leaping. As he flew backward, Ye Huan threw the tear gas where he had previously stood. The moment Han Lin landed, a thick cloud of tear gas enveloped him. 0

In less than three seconds, Han Lin ran out of the tear gas area with tears streaming down his face. As he ran, he cursed, "Shameless, despicable, cowardly! Ye Huan, you can only use such lowly tricks! If you have the guts, let’s fight for real!" 0

As he spoke, tears continued to pour from Han Lin's eyes, forcing him to squint as he looked toward Ye Huan's position. At first, he didn’t think much of it, but when he noticed that Ye Huan had two grenades in his hands that looked similar to the previous one, he was so frightened that he tightly shut his eyes. After waiting for a while without knowing what Ye Huan's grenades would do, he dared not open his eyes. Suddenly, he felt a solid kick on his backside and fell flat on the ground, losing all semblance of a sixth-level expert. 0

Meanwhile, after playing around for a bit, Ye Huan had calmed down and simply sat down on the ground. He shouted to Zhang Ren and Han Xuan, who were still keeping their eyes tightly shut, "Alright, I'm done playing. You can open your eyes now!" 0

As soon as he finished speaking, Han Lin lay on the ground and turned his head away in frustration, his face practically screaming defiance. 0

"What? Still not convinced? Fine then; let me show you something convincing!" Noticing the expression on Han Lin's face, Ye Huan summoned a Gatling gun. The terrifying six barrels startled Han Lin. 0

Leisurely walking over to the Gatling gun, Ye Huan pressed the power switch and aimed at several large trees in the distance. He then pressed the button on the grip. The Gatling gun roared to life as bullets surged toward the towering trees. 0

In just ten seconds—only ten seconds—one thousand bullets poured out of the Gatling gun. The trees were abruptly cut down by a significant portion and fell to the ground with a cloud of dust rising. 0

"Now do you have anything to say? If you dare to bother me again next time for no reason, those bullets won’t just be hitting trees," Ye Huan said as the dust settled, pointing at the area that had been swept by the Gatling gun. 0

Lying on the ground and staring intently ahead for quite some time, Han Lin was still in shock. After what felt like an eternity, he seemed to think of something and quickly stood up beside Ye Huan. Grabbing one of his hands eagerly, he asked, "Ye Huan, are you interested in developing in the Southern Xiongnu Empire? If you're willing, I would stake my life to guarantee your position; at least you could secure a Warlord title!" 0

Not only Han Lin but also Han Xuan looked incredulously at the area that had been swept by the Gatling gun. She pondered whether they could bring Ye Huan to the Southern Xiongnu Empire because such terrifying skills would be far more effective on the battlefield than mere professional conflicts. 0

Developing in the Southern Xiongnu Empire? 0

From start to finish, Ye Huan had never considered this question. After all, he was still a Huaxia Nation person at heart. Even though the Ye Family had left Huaxia Nation now, it did not mean they had abandoned their identity as Huaxia people; eventually, they would return. 0

Thinking about this made Ye Huan shake his head lightly to signal Han Lin not to say more and turned to walk toward where their horses were tied up. The two mounted their horses and rode forward at a leisurely pace. 0

Staring intently at Ye Huan's back figure and being someone who had led troops before, Han Lin deeply understood how impactful Ye Huan's skills could be on the battlefield. If Ye Huan did not wish to stay in the Southern Xiongnu Empire and later left, it would undoubtedly become a nightmare for them—especially since Ye Huan was only a Fourth-Level Summoner right now! 0

Returning to where their horses were tied up and sharing his thoughts with Han Xuan made Han Lin's expression unusually serious as he asked her, "Han Xuan, I plan to meet with Sovereign when we return this time; no matter what happens, I must keep Ye Huan here. It would be too regrettable to waste such talent..." 0

"Keep him here? But what if Ye Huan doesn't want to?" Furrowing her brow slightly despite her young age, Han Xuan was clever enough to pinpoint the crux of the issue. It was unclear whether she was asking Han Lin or merely talking to herself. 0

"If he is unwilling... then at all costs, we must leave his body in the Southern Xiongnu!" Han Lin's expression grew even colder, as if he had already anticipated that Ye Huan would not agree. 0

Unbeknownst to him, someone behind had already begun to entertain some dubious thoughts. Ye Huan appeared particularly relaxed, having demonstrated part of his strength, and he had enough reason to believe that Han Lin would not trouble him for a while. 0

In fact, Ye Huan's speculation was not wrong. From morning until evening, Han Lin did not utter a single word. It was only when a massive city came into view that he finally spoke: "Flame Sun City, we've arrived." 0

In the Southern Xiongnu Empire, small towns were everywhere and countless, but cities like those in Huaxia Nation were rare; there were only four throughout the entire Southern Xiongnu Empire: Flame Sun, Extreme Ice, Thunder Cloud, and the largest capital city. Despite the small number of cities, each of the three besides the capital was larger than the capital of Huaxia Nation. For instance, Flame Sun City, where Ye Huan and his companions currently stood, was twice the size of the Capital of Huaxia and had at least fifty percent more population. 0

Arriving at one of the city gates, Han Lin exchanged glances with Han Xuan. Then he rode off into the distance, leaving Han Xuan to accompany Ye Huan. This made Ye Huan curious about Han Lin's intentions, prompting him to ask Han Xuan, "Han Xuan, what is your brother up to?" 0

"He's off spreading news about you at the Professional Association..." Han Xuan rolled her eyes and answered without hesitation. Ye Huan felt a bit embarrassed by this and chose not to say more as he followed Han Xuan toward a corner of Flame Sun City. Once Ye Huan could no longer see Han Xuan's face, it became apparent that she bore a significant amount of guilt; they walked slowly over a distance of about two thousand meters, taking more than ten minutes on horseback. 0

Finally stopping, Ye Huan and Zhang Ren looked up to see a residence before them. A large plaque hung above the entrance with the words 'Han Residence' inscribed on it. It seemed this style was learned from families in Huaxia Nation. 0

"Let's go! This is my home," Han Xuan said with a smile as she turned to Ye Huan. She jumped down from her horse and walked toward the main gate with the reins in hand. Before she could reach the entrance, several people rushed out from within Han Residence—at least ten individuals—calling out in unison: "Miss!" 0

"Yes, tell my father that I have returned. Also, these two are my guests; please take them to rest," Han Xuan instructed the servants as she handed over the reins to one of them. She then approached Ye Huan and softly said, "Ye Huan, you and Zhang Ren should rest first. I will speak with my father and ask him to help find your family." 0

"Alright, thank you." 0

With a gentle smile, Ye Huan sincerely replied before following the servants into Han Residence, curiously observing everything around him. 0
