In this world, few men can resist the temptations of power and wealth, and Ye Huan was no exception. Especially when he thought about how Lin Xiao could corner him with his authority and riches to the point where he needed Ye Luo to come to his rescue, he became even more interested in what Ye Luo had to say. Not knowing if he should worry that Ye Huan might refuse, Ye Luo added that last remark as a reminder that Ye Huan was now an adult capable of contributing to the family.

Unaware that the princess had changed her view of him, Ye Huan found himself in a dilemma over whether or not to enlist in the military.
Just as he struggled with his decision, two hands belonging to his steward Ye Luo suddenly appeared before him, holding two items: one appeared to be a magical beast's core radiating strong Heaven and Earth Spiritual Energy that even Ye Huan could sense; the other was a book.
"What is this?" Ye Huan looked at Ye Luo in surprise, unable to understand why Ye Luo was handing him these two items.
"This one is the Inner Pill of a Wind Attribute Level Seven Magical Beast. With it, you will be able to become a Third-Rank Summoner. And this book contains the cultivation methods needed for a Summoner after reaching Third Rank. If you agree to go to the military camp, then these two items will be yours," Ye Luo explained, presenting the items in his hands to Ye Huan.
Staring at the two items before him, Ye Huan nearly drooled. However, he quickly sensed something was off. According to what Ye Luo had just said, Ye Tian had not expressed any intention of sending him to the military camp; this was all proposed by Ye Luo. Coupled with the material temptation presented, Ye Huan couldn't help but feel suspicious and asked Ye Luo, "Ye Butler, can you tell me why you want me to join the army?"
"Army? Ha ha! Young Master, do you really think your status would make you just a soldier in the military camp?" Hearing this seemed to amuse Ye Luo greatly, and he laughed heartily.
"Not a soldier? Then can I directly become an officer?" Ye Huan looked at Ye Luo in confusion, still not realizing he had said anything wrong.

Holding the two items in his hands, Ye Huan hadn't even had a chance to ask where Sky Star City was before Ye Luo completely vanished. He could only helplessly set off towards where Weiyang was located.

But it seems you've forgotten something—there's still a Monster Mountain in front of us..." As soon as Ye Huan finished speaking, Zhang Ren chimed in without a second thought, his face full of frustration.
"Ah, I forgot..." Ye Huan slapped his forehead, suddenly remembering that there was still the Northern Liang Mountain Range separating them from Huaxia Nation. He couldn't help but feel regret for not thinking to have Ye Luo take the three of them along before leaving. The three exchanged glances, bewildered.

As before, after absorbing it, Ye Huan immediately placed his hand on the Summoning Book. A massive influx of Heaven and Earth Spiritual Energy surged into the 2012 Arms Compendium. Under a veil of white light, the compendium flipped past the ninth page and continued for six more pages before finally stopping, indicating that Ye Huan had become a Third-Rank Summoner at its peak.
If Durei IV were here, he would surely marvel at Ye Huan's rapid advancement. Unfortunately, he was not present to witness the birth of a Third-Rank Summoner.
Once he became a Third-Rank Summoner, Ye Huan eagerly flipped to the tenth page of the 2012 Arms Compendium. Upon seeing what was printed there, a smile crept onto his face, quickly turning into hearty laughter as he closed the compendium without even glancing at what followed.
After stowing away the Summoning Book, Ye Huan confidently waved at Weiyang and Zhang Ren and declared arrogantly, "Let's go! I'll take you across Monster Mountain so those beasts can see just how powerful we are..."
Weiyang and Zhang Ren exchanged puzzled looks at Ye Huan's words, clearly finding them somewhat dubious. However, seeing Ye Huan's arrogant demeanor made them hesitant to jump to conclusions. They could only nod in agreement as the three of them left that place and returned to where they had descended from the mountain. This side was free of monsters as they climbed together toward the summit...
