"What?"
Li Li stood up from her seat, pointing a finger at me, her voice raised. "Gu Anxin, watch your mouth."
"Then you should clean up that mouth of yours before talking about my Chu Fan!"
The classroom was filled with students who had paused their conversations to watch us. Li Li's face turned crimson, trembling with anger. "What nonsense are you spouting!"
"I'm speaking the truth." I scanned the room and said each word clearly, "Chu Fan is my man, and none of you are qualified to say otherwise!"
Li Li was clearly furious, her chest heaving. "If you're Chu Fan's woman, then why don't you have his number? Gu Anxin, I thought you were usually quiet, but I didn't expect you to be so shameless as to try to steal someone else's man. How low can you be?"
"Anxin, have you taken crazy pills today?"
"Yeah, Anxin, what's wrong with you?"
In my classmates' eyes, I had always been a somewhat introverted person who only joked around with familiar faces. This assertiveness was completely out of character for me, so many looked at me with suspicion, including Lin You who had just walked in.
Seeing that I wasn't responding, Li Li regained her earlier bravado, crossing her arms defiantly. But unexpectedly, I stepped forward and grabbed her by the neck. Li Li's eyes widened in surprise as she was caught off guard.
"What are you doing?"
"You either give it to me or you don't!"
"I won't give it!"
Without a second thought, I grabbed the pen from the table and lunged it toward her face. "If you don't speak up, I'll ruin your pretty face. Let's see how you'll seduce men after that."
I wasn't just trying to scare her. If it weren't for Lin You arriving just in time to grab my arm, Li Li's face would have been destroyed.
"Anxin, what's wrong with you? Why have you suddenly become so violent? Did that ball hit you in the head? Let me take you to the hospital, okay?"
I watched Lin You speak to me through my own body, feeling immensely grateful. At least she was concerned about me; otherwise, if this situation escalated, who knew how the school would react? If it got noted in my file, it would be detrimental to my future prospects.
But if it was due to a head injury, that would be a different story.
My heart eased slightly, but the next moment it tightened even more as I saw myself release Li Li and mercilessly aim the pen at Lin You's eyes.
Lin You stood there, unmoving, her eyes fixed on me with unwavering belief. It was a look filled with trust, yet here I was about to hurt her.

Just as the pen was about to reach Lin You's eye, my hand was blocked again. This time, someone came from behind and wrapped their arms around me. "Baby, I know I was wrong. Don't take it out on others. If you're angry, just come to me."
"Chu Fan?"
“Chu Fan!”
Everyone snapped back to reality, seeing Chu Fan affectionately hugging me from behind and softly apologizing. In an instant, they all understood what was happening.
Chu Fan glanced around and tightened his hold on me, then politely apologized to everyone like a true gentleman.
“Dear classmates, I sincerely apologize. It was my mistake that caused Anxin to be this upset. I hope you can let this matter rest for my sake.”
His last sentence was directed at Li Li, who finally came to her senses after the shock. Though reluctant, she found herself at a loss for words.
