Li Xiaonan's eyes flashed with a glimmer of insight. Although he had just suffered the pain of losing his wife, his mind was becoming increasingly clear.
He felt that the actions of the Azure Emperor were highly abnormal and could not be explained by logic. So when Chen Yaojin suggested wanting the Azure Emperor's corpse, a plan immediately formed in his mind.
Li Xiaonan crossed his arms, a somewhat sinister smile curling at the corners of his mouth.

As he spoke, he pointed randomly until finally landing on a tall corpse and said, "I want this one."
"No way," Li Xiaonan suddenly interrupted, yanking Chen Yaojin by the collar and laughing, "Little Jin, does your boss treat you well?"
Chen Yaojin swallowed hard, trying to find his voice. "Yes."
Li Xiaonan nodded in satisfaction and continued, "Since you like this body so much, I'll give it to you."
Chen Yaojin glanced at the direction Li Xiaonan was pointing and thought to himself that this was trouble.
His boss definitely wanted this guy to be resurrected and then teach him a lesson. I would end up as the scapegoat.
Chen Yaojin rubbed his hands together and forced a smile. "No, no, no! I think I'll stick with that one instead."
Mei Chunhui chimed in, "Yeah, Xiao Nan, how can you let him use the body of the Azure Emperor?"
"Haha, good kid, clever!" Yun Xinghe immediately understood Li Xiaonan's idea and praised him loudly.
Li Xiaonan smiled lightly and wrapped his arm around Chen Yaojin's shoulder to prevent him from escaping at the last moment.
"I'll explain," Yun Xinghe said as he patted Mei Chunhui's head. "If the Azure Emperor is dead and the celestial realm finds out that our Cloud Sky Pavilion is the culprit, the consequences would be terrifying."
Mei Chunhui nodded blankly.
Yun Xinghe then walked over to Li Xiaonan and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Although we have spread the news that the Azure Emperor was killed and escaped, he is ultimately dead. If he remains missing for too long, it will raise suspicions."
Li Xiaonan took over the conversation. "The best way to avoid all trouble is to let the Azure Emperor die and then come back to life, and the 'Azure Emperor' who returns will be one of us."
Chen Yaojin immediately felt the intense gaze from Li Xiaonan and sighed inwardly, realizing he couldn't escape this.

Without thinking, Chen Yaojin shook his head vigorously.

Chen Yaojin forced a smile, his face contorted with effort as he looked up and said, "Boss... as long as you don't hit me..."
Li Xiaonan scoffed, "Why would I hit you?"
As he spoke, he formed hand seals, and a dark Ghostly Aura enveloped him.
Yun Xinghe and the members of the Mei Family were taken aback, feeling the temperature in the icy cave drop even further.
Li Xiaonan's entire demeanor shifted to something sinister and terrifying.
He unleashed thirteen hand seals, causing Chen Yaojin to float uncontrollably, slowly moving towards the Azure Emperor.
Chen Yaojin transformed into a swirling black mist that twisted and changed around the Azure Emperor.
Gradually, his form began to resemble the Azure Emperor more closely, his slightly bloated body becoming lean and athletic as it pressed down onto the Azure Emperor, merging the two together.
Li Xiaonan took a deep breath, pressing his palms downward. The Ghostly Aura immediately dissipated without a trace.
Wiping the sweat from his brow, he addressed the lying "Azure Emperor," saying, "Stop playing dead and get up."
The "Azure Emperor" stood up straight, suddenly opening his eyes wide. He stiffly moved his limbs, a lewd grin quickly spreading across his face.
Rubbing his hands together and bending at the waist, he slowly approached Li Xiaonan and said, "Boss..."
Li Xiaonan frowned and raised his hand to slap the "Azure Emperor" across the face.
Chen Yaojin covered his face and complained bitterly, "Boss... I'm Little Jin! You said you wouldn't hit me!"
"Just because you are Chen Yaojin, I’m hitting you. If I don’t do it now, you’ll just get beaten by someone else when you go out looking like that."

Li Xiaonan and Yun Xinghe circled around Chen Yaojin three times in surprise.
Li Xiaonan said, "Big Brother, this guy looks so despicable; I want to hit him."
Yun Xinghe nodded in agreement, "I want to as well."
Chen Yaojin frowned slightly and said, "I am a member of the Carefree Dual Cultivation Group; you should not be so arrogant."
"Enough with the act. Take out the Star Compass from the Azure Emperor ring, and I'll teach you how to use it."
Chen Yaojin nodded, flipping his palm, but nothing appeared.
He wore a bitter face and said, "Boss, I can't use it..."
"Oh, I forgot. Even though you're wearing the Azure Emperor's body now, your essence is still a Ghost Body. Without Celestial Energy, you naturally can't use it. Just give me the Azure Emperor's items; I'll refine them for you again."
After Li Xiaonan refined the Azure Emperor's relics using Ghost Energy and instructed Chen Yaojin on how to feign amnesia and return to Azure Wankstar, he used the excuse of needing to enter seclusion at Northern Peak Snow Ridge to drive everyone out of the cave.
He glanced at the pile of immortal corpses nearby and couldn't help but smile bitterly.
He sat unreservedly beside the corpse; at first glance, it seemed entirely natural.
Leaning against the icy wall, he slowly closed his eyes, his mind blank, seeing nothing and thinking of nothing.
A month passed without Li Xiaonan moving at all; he seemed truly dead.
Meanwhile, those down the mountain were already frantic.
"Sister Ling, Xiao Nan has been up the mountain for a month. Do you think something happened?" Yun Moyu asked with a furrowed brow.
Ling Kui shook her head. Throughout this month, she had gone up the mountain almost every day but always stopped at the entrance. She knew that at this moment, Li Xiaonan did not want to see anyone.
"Since you're worried about him going up there, even if it's just a quarrel, it should be fine," Yun Xinghe said suddenly appearing behind everyone with his hands clasped behind his back.
"Big Brother," Ling Kui said with a slight frown but eventually nodded.
The younger sisters behind her breathed a sigh of relief, their faces showing a hint of joy.

"It's so cold here..." Yun Moyu couldn't help but shiver.
Yun Xinghe flicked his fingers, and a white fur cloak appeared in mid-air, landing on Yun Moyu's shoulders.
Yun Moyu was taken aback and hadn't even had the chance to thank him before Yun Xinghe had already walked into the cave.
The Luminous Pearl at the top of the cave emitted a soft glow, illuminating the entire cavern as it refracted off the ice stalactites.
Yun Xinghe nearly failed to notice Li Xiaonan.
He was slumped with his eyes closed among a pile of corpses.
After a month, Li Xiaonan had completely calmed down, living in endless guilt and longing.
"Xiao Nan..." the women called out his name with concern.
Li Xiaonan frowned slightly and slowly opened his eyes, which were hollow and devoid of life.
He said nothing and closed his eyes again.
Yun Xinghe sensed the call of the Heaven and Earth Principle. Inner Thoughts told him time was running short, but upon seeing Li Xiaonan in such a state, he felt a surge of anger inside.
He moved in front of Li Xiaonan and grabbed his collar, saying, "Who are you being pathetic for? Your wife is dead, Azure Emperor is dead, your revenge is taken care of. If you keep wallowing in despair like this, your wife will never come back."
Li Xiaonan slowly opened his eyes and whispered, "Big Brother, don't worry about me..."
"If I don't worry about you, do you think I want to? If you weren't my brother, I wouldn't care if you tortured yourself to death," Yun Xinghe said angrily as he threw Li Xiaonan to the ground, splattering ice shards everywhere.
Yun Moyu, feeling heartbroken, said, "Hey, why are you treating Xiao Nan like this?"
Yun Xinghe shot her a glance and replied, "His wounds are already festering and infested with maggots. If we don't clean them out properly, he'll never recover."
As he spoke, he kicked Li Xiaonan in the abdomen and shouted, "You bastard! Get up! Open your eyes and look properly!"
He yanked Li Xiaonan up again, forcing him to face the women at the cave entrance. "Haven't you given up your hometown just for these women?"
Li Xiaonan forced a smile and said, "But I can't protect them... I'm nothing..."
"Fine, fine, you're nothing. Then just come back to Earth with me and never see these women again. Let them find happiness elsewhere so they won't waste their lives because of you."
Li Xiaonan was startled and finally snapped back to reality. He pushed Yun Xinghe away and fell back onto the ground. "I'm not going."
"Oh? So you're resisting now? Good. It seems there's still hope for you. If you feel useless, then find a way to make yourself strong. It's okay to feel sad because we're human, but as a man, you have to bear your responsibilities. I don't have time to stay with you; I'm leaving now. Take care of yourself."
Li Xiaonan immediately understood that Yun Xinghe was going back to Earth. His nose tinged with emotion as he said, "Big Brother, take care of yourself too."
Yun Xinghe nodded and opened his arms, feeling the call of the Spatial Law.
A blue light shot into the cave and rushed towards Yun Xinghe just as Li Xiaonan stood up and positioned himself in front of him.
In an instant, Li Xiaonan vanished into thin air.
Yun Xinghe was taken aback and cursed, "What the hell is going on?" He sat up and murmured, "I'm not dead."
Sitting nearby, his good roommate Zhang Pinghai said cheerfully, "Of course you didn't die. You're really lucky that fan didn't hit you."
Li Xiaonan turned to look at the small mirror beside him, staring at his ordinary face—nothing striking or extraordinary, just a face he had lived with for nineteen years.
He took a deep breath, feeling the energy within his Dantian.
Suddenly, he opened his eyes wide and cursed inwardly: Where's my Dantian? Where's my Yuan Ying? Could it be that all of this is just a dream, and now I've simply woken up from it?
Is this really the end for me?
Li Xiaonan completely failed to notice the Soul Ring on his index finger shining brilliantly under the sunlight.
