Li Xiaonan leaned back in his chair, legs crossed, listening to the negotiation between Taurus and Ouyang Feng.
It had to be said that Taurus was quite astute, hitting all the key points.
"Lord Ouyang, as you can see, in our battle against Makasi, our brothers have fallen, leaving only a few of us. As the saying goes, two fists cannot defeat four hands. Even if you grant us South City now, we won't be able to hold it," Taurus stated.
Ouyang Feng chuckled, "Oh, Golden Bull, do you have any good suggestions?"

He also stood up from his chair and pulled Fei Ji beside him.
Fei Ji was startled and quickly shook off his hand. Although her mouth was still bound with cloth and she couldn't speak, the brilliance in her eyes clearly conveyed two words: "No."
Li Xiaonan coldly remarked, "What? Do you still want to stay here? This place is not suitable."
Fei Ji finally shook her head slowly, her delicate brows slightly furrowed.
Li Xiaonan smiled lightly and swept her up into his arms, striding towards the door.
Even through the smooth fabric, he could feel the softness and elasticity of her skin, while the alluring fragrance that lingered around her filled his senses.
Feeling the struggle of the person in his embrace, he maintained a stern expression and said, "If you keep acting crazy, I’ll just leave you here." At the same time, he tightened his grip on her soft body.
Fei Ji felt herself sinking deeper into his hold, unable to move, and could only glare at this infuriating man.

"It's impossible. He used Fei Ji as bait to gauge the Southern City Demon’s reaction and to select the most capable demons. His plan has just begun; how could he possibly give up?"

Taurus frowned slightly and glanced at Li Xiaonan in front of Ouyang Feng before continuing, "Lord Ouyang, since you don't treat us as outsiders, we won't hide it from you."

"As long as you can help us eliminate Makasi, we will follow you," Taurus said seriously.

Taurus raised an eyebrow at Li Xiaonan and Aries, who was grinning foolishly.
However, Li Xiaonan couldn't help but frown, wondering why Ouyang Feng seemed to agree so easily. What was his ulterior motive?

Ouyang Feng said, "This used to be Fei Ji's bedroom. The decor is quite nice."
As he spoke, he gently pushed open the door.
The window was open, revealing the blood moon on the horizon. A refreshing evening breeze lightly swayed the floral curtains on either side, inviting the soft moonlight inside to fall onto the large bed not far away.
The thick soft mattress looked very warm but carried an indescribable sense of solitude and chilliness.
"You all can rest here tonight. The rooms next door are empty as well; feel free to use them. I will send someone to bring food shortly. Tomorrow we will discuss matters regarding Eastern Land in detail."
"Thank you, my lord," Taurus replied with a bow and a smile.
Li Xiaonan couldn't be bothered to speak with Ouyang Feng. He carefully placed Fei Ji on the bed and tucked her in, unable to tear his gaze away from her.
In the room remained Taurus, Aries, and Yao Er San Si Liu Mo.
Taurus nudged Aries and said, "You’re tired too; let’s go rest."
Aries frowned slightly and retorted, "I'm not tired. If you want to sleep, go ahead."
Taurus rolled his eyes and replied, "If you're not going to rest, then I'll go wash your clothes."
Aries furrowed his brow even tighter. "I'll wash them myself in a bit."
Taurus pushed Aries hard, his eyes twitching as he glanced in Li Xiaonan's direction and said, "I'll help you wash."
Aries paused for a moment, finally realizing that it was indeed time for the boss to reconnect with his sister-in-law.
He nodded vigorously and grabbed the four Little Demons, striding purposefully toward the door.
Li Xiaonan let out a soft sigh and slowly loosened the cloth that had been binding Fei Ji's purple lips, gently caressing his tender, smooth cheek.
Her slender finger inadvertently traced over the red marks left by the bindings. A pang of pain shot through Li Xiaonan, and at that moment, the person on the bed woke up.
As soon as Fei Ji saw Li Xiaonan's face and felt the salty hand pressed against his own cheek, he immediately slapped Li Xiaonan across the face.
"You pervert! You can have me, but don't even think about touching me!"
Li Xiaonan, with her thick skin, naturally didn't feel any pain, but her heart truly ached.
With no one else in the room, it was the perfect opportunity to reveal her true identity to Fei Ji.
"Fei'er, actually I am..."

Li Xiaonan awkwardly scratched his face, unsure of how to respond as the atmosphere suddenly became a bit tense.

A series of knocks echoed through the room. Li Xiaonan seemed relieved; he wiped the sweat from his forehead and said, "Come in."
"Boss," Aries entered, having removed his white fur scarf. His frame appeared somewhat frail, and he wore a linen robe that fell just below his waist, exposing his navel.
He carried a tray with several plates of fresh red meat. "Ouyang Feng sent some food. Taurus has already tried it; it's safe."
Li Xiaonan nodded, taking the tray and placing it on the tea table beside him.
Aries stole a glance at the situation in the room and whispered, "Boss, have you recognized your sister-in-law yet?"
Li Xiaonan grimaced and replied, "Not yet..."
"Boss, why are you being so slow? Isn't love just about you loving me and me loving you?"
Li Xiaonan forced a smile and whispered back, "What do you mean by love?"
"Doing it."
Upon hearing this answer, Li Xiaonan felt as if he had been struck by lightning. He stood there in shock, not even realizing when Aries had left.
He slowly exhaled a breath of frustration, plastering a smile on his face as he turned around to pick up a plate and walked over to Fei Ji. "Are you hungry? Have a little something."
"Humph," Fei Ji scoffed, turning his face away.
Li Xiaonan bit his lip and said, "Come, let me feed you."
Fei Ji waved his hand dismissively.
"Smack!"
A bloody heart flew through the air, crashing against the white wall and leaving a gruesome stain.
Damn it, what a waste of food.
Li Xiaonan suddenly recalled what Aries had said before leaving. Gritting his teeth, he yanked the blanket off Fei Ji.
