The endless expanse of the wilderness was painted a golden hue by the setting sun, yet it only added to the desolation and barrenness of the land.

Upon hearing this, Li Xiaonan frowned and muttered to himself: What does it matter if there’s no one? Are you planning to kill me?
She turned her head and smiled at him. "Do you know why I went through so much trouble to injure myself just to hurt you and take you away?"

Li Xiaonan couldn't be bothered to say much to the Ice Maiden, merely casting a cold glance her way as a response.

The Ice Maiden sighed, withdrawing her hand. "Tonight, I will give myself to you. I want you to know that I love you. Everything those other women can do for you, I can do too!"
Li Xiaonan's eyes widened in shock as he met her misty gaze, momentarily taken aback. The surrounding weeds seemed equally stunned.

One hovered majestically in the air, while the other sat on the ground with a foolish expression.

Luna heard the conversation between the father and daughter and immediately blushed. She smiled at Li Xiaonan and asked, "Xiao Nan, are you alright?"

With Luna guiding him, they flew back to the estate.

"What is that?" Li Xiaonan asked, pointing at a lump tied to a wooden frame.
"I'm not an object!"
From that voice, Li Xiaonan recognized it was Zhao Hai. He nodded solemnly and said, "You're definitely not an object."
