"Roar!" A wild scream erupted, as if the pain was tearing through Li Xiaonan's very heart.
A flicker of guilt and hesitation crossed Soulmate's eyes. Despite the damage to the Spirit Platform, he had not lost all consciousness, and he heard every word Li Xiaonan said clearly.
He never expected that his former steward would strike him down so ruthlessly. The raging anger clouded his judgment, leaving him unable to discern right from wrong or think about what to do next.
By the time he realized he had attacked the wrong person, it was already too late for regret.
A hint of confusion flashed in Li Xiaonan's eyes as strange symbols and knowledge suddenly flooded his mind, including how to use Mental Power. He slowly turned to Soulmate, gently grasping that pale wrist.
"I..." Soulmate tried to pull his hand away but found himself unable to move. "Let go!"
A stream of pure, untainted energy flowed from Soulmate's hand into Li Xiaonan's body, or rather, it was Li Xiaonan's body that was actively absorbing it.
"I want to too... Let go quickly!" Li Xiaonan explained with a furrowed brow, yet within him surged a strange sensation, like milk swirling into black coffee.
"You’re the one holding my hand!" Soulmate’s face grew increasingly pale as the Celestial Energy within him seemed to burst forth like a gushing faucet, while he felt utterly powerless; it seemed that the control over this flow lay in Li Xiaonan's hands.
"Ahhh!"
"Ahhh!"
The two men began to scream wildly, with Soulmate shrinking in size while Li Xiaonan grew larger.
Li Baobao's eyes were filled with tears, completely unsure of what to do. She wrapped her arms around Li Xiaonan from behind, and the demon True Essence within her began to stir, flowing into Li Xiaonan's body. The uncomfortable sensation made her moan softly, "Hmm... Master..."
Yao Ming, seeing this, felt a surge of urgency. He placed a hand on Li Baobao's shoulder, and the demon True Essence within him surged forth as well.
Mushroom Master noticed something was wrong and slapped his hand on Yao Ming's arm.
Fairy Treasures, resembling candied hawthorn sticks, twisted and convulsed in a string.
At that moment, Li Xiaonan was also in distress. Initially, he was only absorbing Soulmate's Celestial Energy, which felt quite pleasant. However, he didn't expect the sudden influx of demon True Essence to feel like cold water splashing into a hot oil pot, threatening to explode.
Damn it! Star Absorption! I'm not some kind of master! I can't take it anymore; I'm going to burst! Someone get a Shaolin Master to save me!
"Ah!" Li Xiaonan's muscles bulged painfully, and the veins beneath his skin throbbed visibly. He could even feel the flow of blood within him.
With a powerful shake of his arms, he sent the four surrounding him flying away and soared into the air.
The three demons turned pale, gasping for breath. But the worst off was Soulmate; originally standing at six feet tall, he now shrank to half a meter, his form hazy and indistinct, with only exhalation and no inhalation.
The four stared blankly at Li Xiaonan, who appeared like a celestial being descended upon the world. His dark Spirit Armor fit him perfectly, and his flowing Azure Silks billowed majestically around him. His cold yet handsome face radiated a faint glow, resembling a martial god.
"Baobao! Are you alright?" Li Xiaonan flew to Li Baobao's side with a worried frown.
Li Baobao felt achy all over, as if she had just been beaten. She was utterly drained of energy, devoid of any demon True Essence, weak enough that she seemed on the verge of reverting back to her original form as a Spirit Ginseng.
Li Xiaonan was frantic, scratching his head in despair as white flakes flew around him—more tragic than an online writer who hadn't washed his hair after three days of intense writing at home.
He suddenly slapped his forehead, thinking, "How foolish! Don't I have the Harmony Technique?"
Without hesitation, he picked up Li Baobao and rushed into the inner room, ignoring the other three who were lying on the ground, trembling.
“Don’t worry, Baobao. I’m here with you; you won’t feel sad for long!” He gently laid Li Baobao on the wooden bed, allowing her to lean against him. Their fingers intertwined as he activated the Harmony Technique, transforming his True Essence Power into the purest Spiritual Energy and channeling it into Li Baobao's body.
With a soft whimper, Li Baobao slowly regained consciousness. Li Xiaonan let out a sigh of relief, but his gaze inadvertently fell upon her chest, which was rising and falling dramatically. Just looking at her voluptuous form made him blush deeply.
“Master, what are you looking at?” Her voice, as delicate as a phoenix's call, only fueled Li Xiaonan's rising desire. One of his long fingers brushed against her proudly standing curves.
“Ah… Master, please don’t… it hurts…” Li Baobao gasped, causing him to freeze momentarily.
He slowly loosened the jade belt around her slender waist and began to unwrap her white robe. Alarmed, Li Baobao quickly interjected, “Master, no… don’t look…”
“Be good… I won’t hurt you…” Li Baobao closed her eyes slightly, her long curled eyelashes trembling as she relaxed her grip, allowing Li Xiaonan to remove her clothing.
Li Xiaonan gazed at the curves beneath the silver belly wrap and frowned. This girl had been so focused on seeking help from his master that she had forgotten about her own injuries. The bruises of purple and black intertwined across her skin not only failed to mar her beauty but made her appear even more enchanting.
Sigh… No wonder she cried out in pain from just a light touch; it hurt just to look at it.
With a sigh of sympathy in his heart, Li Xiaonan took out a bottle of Ice Skin Snow Cream from his Soul Ring and carefully applied a small amount onto Li Baobao's delicate skin.
Li Baobao watched Li Xiaonan’s focused expression and couldn’t help but feel entranced.
“Does it hurt?”
“……”
Li Xiaonan noticed her lack of response and couldn't help but meet her gaze. He realized that this girl looked quite adorable when she was daydreaming. After applying the ointment, Li Baobao still seemed lost in thought.
A mischievous smile flickered in his eyes as he decided to tease Li Baobao.
His gentle fingertip lightly poked a red cherry.
“Hmm…” Li Baobao's face flushed, finally snapping back to reality. But Li Xiaonan was not one to let her off easily. He chuckled, “You need to massage the bruise lightly for it to fade.”
The Ice Skin Snow Cream was renowned as a miraculous healing ointment, and the bruise had clearly diminished significantly; Li Xiaonan was merely using it as an excuse.
His large hand could barely encompass her ample curves, with soft flesh spilling out between his fingers. Such teasing was unbearable for the inexperienced Li Baobao, and before long, she was gazing at him with sultry eyes, breathy and soft, “Master… hmm… Master…” Only by continuously calling out to Li Xiaonan did she feel a bit better.
“Foolish girl! You’ve suffered all these years.” Li Xiaonan gently kissed her forehead.
It was indeed not easy for a fairy to mature. If one were to cultivate step by step, it would naturally take a hundred years to become an adult. However, Li Baobao was unwilling to wait; she continuously refined and consumed elixirs. Such defiance against fate came at a price, and the pain that gnawed at her heart lasted three long years before she finally shed her medicinal body and became an adult.
At his soft call, Li Baobao felt warmth in her heart; everything had been worth it. With her mind finally at ease, she slowly drifted off to sleep.
Li Xiaonan smiled slightly as he helped her redress, then sat back with a thoughtful expression.
He pondered quietly: It seemed that this body was now back to how it used to be. Was this due to the Harmony Technique? Or the Martial Soul Technique?
It appeared that once again he had inexplicably turned danger into safety. He wondered how that Soulmate outside was doing. I managed to extract so much Celestial Energy from the immortal; if I encounter enemies in the future, I won’t even need to fight—just stand there as a target would be quite convenient.
Yuan Ying can also be used as Flesh, and in the entire history of the Starry Illusion Continent, only Li Xiaonan has achieved this.
He gently rolled out of bed and stepped outside. Two beams of light entered the bodies of the Mushroom Master and Yao Ming, both male fairies. Naturally, he had no interest in any physical intimacy with them.
Soulmate's expression changed dramatically as he stared wide-eyed at Li Xiaonan.
The latter frowned and sighed, "Staring at me won't help; I didn't do it on purpose. Don't worry, I will save you!"
He pointed his Spiritual Energy at Soulmate's Dantian, and Soulmate began to writhe violently, shock evident in his eyes. His red lips parted as if he wanted to say something, but then he suddenly exploded and vanished.
Li Xiaonan was taken aback and exclaimed, "How could this happen? I was trying to save him! Wait... I understand now..."
Strange thoughts suddenly appeared in Li Xiaonan's mind. He muttered to himself: So Soulmate isn't a true incarnation; no wonder I felt he was different from those celestial beings before. He's just a clone!
Damn! If a clone is that powerful, then the original must be incredibly strong. This is bad; I accidentally used Spiritual Energy and caused him to explode. He will surely hold a grudge against me, and now I have another enemy in the celestial realm...
Sigh! Since I'm here, I might as well make the best of it; barefoot people aren't afraid of wearing shoes!
I was so close to making a friend, but who knew that damn thing was just a surge of Spiritual Energy? And I can't use other Spiritual Energy to replenish it!
However, this Clone Technique is indeed a marvelous method, far superior to mere puppets. It seems I need to practice it myself and then go settle scores with the Crimson Cloud Sect!
Hmph! They destroyed my Flesh and still want to eat me! I'll take revenge like those powerful protagonists in novels and wipe them out!
Li Xiaonan seemed to have forgotten that his Flesh was actually damaged by his father-in-law.
"Master, um... I want to go down the mountain with Junior Sister and her master!" Yao Ming suddenly spoke up.
He had always thought that his master was the strongest in the world, but he never expected that his master had an immortal master above him, and that this immortal was easily killed by Junior Sister's master. One was an immortal, and the other was a Yuan Ying; how powerful they were!
As he thought about this, Yao Ming's eyes sparkled with excitement.
The Mushroom Master was furious; after all the effort he put into cultivating a disciple, now he was just going to leave with someone else.
He puffed up his cheeks and jumped up, hitting Yao Ming on the head with great force, shouting, "You little brat!"
After landing back on the ground, he jumped up again and repeated, "You little brat!"
This went on for who knows how many times. Yao Ming stood there in a daze, looking miserable as he faced the panting Mushroom Master and said, "Master, if you want to hit me, can't you just tell me to squat down? Jumping like this is exhausting..."
"You!" The Mushroom Master was momentarily speechless, fuming, "Why are you so stubborn!"
"I don't want to be either... Who told me I'm a Banyan Tree while you're a Ginseng..."
Li Xiaonan shook his head helplessly, his thoughts drifting back to practicing the Clone Technique.
