"Old Man Mei, what do you think?" Li Xiaonan asked as he gazed at Golden Mountain.
"Well, the Celestial Energy on this island comes from this mountain. There must be formations left by immortals on it, and surely there are treasures as well," Mei Qingdan nodded.
Li Xiaonan looked towards Ling Kui, who bit her lip and said three words: "It's here."
The dragon bloodline is rare and special, allowing one to sense the presence of their kin within a certain range.
The three of them circled around Golden Mountain but found no entrance. They attempted to fly directly to the top, only to feel a great hand pressing down on them, preventing even the Great Ascension stage Mei Qingdan from taking flight.
Li Xiaonan furrowed his brow and summoned the Carefree Fan, swinging it like an axe against Golden Mountain. A golden light erupted from the mountain, sending Li Xiaonan and his fan flying away.

The golden mountain showed no signs of damage, but Li Xiaonan's Carefree Fan had sustained some harm.
Though the Carefree Fan was merely a High-Quality Spirit Weapon, it was very close to being a low-grade treasure, a Destined Artifact. That shock had taken a toll on Li Xiaonan.
"Xiao Nan, are you alright?" Ling Kui stepped forward to check on him, but he dodged her concern with a grin. "Your husband isn't that fragile! I'm fine; just a bit shaken up. I owe thanks to Old Man Mei; otherwise, I wouldn't know where I would have been sent flying."
Mei Qingdan shook his head proudly.
Li Xiaonan continued, "Old Man Mei, what kind of formation is this? How do we break it?"
Mei Qingdan squinted his lively eyes into a narrow slit and replied lightly, "It should be the Five Elements Formation. This is the first formation, the Golden Formation. Only by breaking the Golden Formation will the entrance reveal itself."
Mei Qingdan hadn't intended to meddle; he only wanted to find Spirit Herb. However, the immortal's formation intrigued him. The firelight painted everyone's faces a vivid red.

Mei Qingdan gritted his teeth, sweat beading on his delicate face. His complexion was flushed; it was hard to tell if it was from the firelight or from exertion.
Li Xiaonan formed seals with both hands, changing them repeatedly. The Yuan Ying within his Dantian slowly opened its eyes, its chubby little hands also forming seals as it activated the Harmony Technique. The Yuan Ying's small mouth opened slightly as Li Xiaonan shouted, "Nine Yang True Fire!" In an instant, a small ball of light purple flame condensed between his hands.
Mei Qingdan's mouth fell open in disbelief at the sight before him. The small ball of light purple flame merged into his Nine Yang True Fire, causing an explosive reaction as if a small bowl of water had been poured into a pot of hot oil.

"You... how do you have Nine Yang True Fire?" Mei Qingdan asked incredulously.
Li Xiaonan looked at Mei Qingdan, his handsome little face mimicking that of a toad. Instantly in high spirits, he replied with a grin, "It's a secret!"
Mei Qingdan was so furious he nearly choked on his breath. Just as he was about to reprimand Li Xiaonan, he noticed something golden flowing down the mountainside. Puffing out his cheeks, he exclaimed, "This is top-grade material for refining weapons and pills—Golden Crystal! You can collect it just by using True Essence Power. Don't be fooled by its liquid form; once it solidifies, its hardness is unmatched! No stealing from me!"
Li Xiaonan chuckled and waved to Ling Kui. "Ling'er, come here! Let's collect it together; Old Man Mei said it's a good thing."
Ling Kui listened to Mei Qingdan's words but hesitated slightly. Li Xiaonan continued, "Silly Ling'er, Old Man Mei is just angry with me and said that on purpose. Let's hurry up and collect it; otherwise we won't be able to once the Golden Crystal solidifies!"
Mei Qingdan was truly at a loss for words, stammering, "You... you... you..."
He glared at the two busy children, and when Li Xiaonan and Ling Kui weren't paying attention, a smile crept onto his lips. After the Golden Formation was broken, a cave entrance appeared on one side of Yellow Earth Mountain. Li Xiaonan and Ling Kui collected enough Golden Crystals before entering the cave with Mei Qingdan.
Inside the cave was pitch black; they couldn't see their hands in front of their faces and could only rely on their spiritual senses to navigate. Li Xiaonan stumbled over the uneven ground.
He snapped his fingers, igniting a flame on his index finger. Just as the three began to make out the cave's interior, Mei Qingdan exclaimed, "Oh no! This is bad!"
Li Xiaonan and Ling Kui were puzzled at first. The cave was vast, spanning thousands of square feet, with walls covered in winding green vines. In the center stood a Millennium Wutong tree so large that it would take several people holding hands to encircle it. The reason Li Xiaonan had stumbled earlier was due to these unknown vines that were everywhere—on the walls, on the ground, and even on the Phoenix Tree.
Looking up along the Phoenix Tree, Li Xiaonan realized he couldn't see the top of the cave; all he could see were the tree crowns.
"Old Man Mei, what did you just say was bad... ah!" Ling Kui's words were cut short as her feet got tangled in the vines on the ground, causing her to flip upside down.
The vines seemed to come alive.
Seeing this scene, Li Xiaonan quickly understood what Mei Qingdan meant; they had entered the Wood Array of the Immortal's Five Elements Formation. Due to Li Xiaonan's beam of light from his finger, the surrounding vines had awakened.
Li Xiaonan flicked a bit of Nine Yang True Fire onto the vines entangling Ling Kui. He caught her as she fell, but it seemed that the vines became even more frenzied.
"You silly child," Mei Qingdan said. "These Soul-Claiming Vines wrap around anything that sees light; fire won't work."
Li Xiaonan pondered for a moment and nodded. "I understand now; metal overcomes wood." With that, he swung his Carefree Fan and used its silver needles to pin down the attacking vines against the wall. The silver needles lacked power and struggled against the vines, especially since his Carefree Fan had already been damaged during their initial encounter with the Golden Formation.
"Boy, catch!" Just as Li Xiaonan was feeling troubled, Mei Qingdan tossed an axe to him.
Li Xiaonan caught the axe and weighed it in his hand, surprised to find that this unassuming axe was actually a treasure—a High-Quality Treasure.
The silver-glimmering axe looked no different from an ordinary iron axe. Although Li Xiaonan considered himself somewhat knowledgeable about weapon forging, he couldn't discern what material this axe was made from. The wooden handle added an ancient touch to its appearance, and at its base was inscribed in small seal script: "Opening Heaven and Earth; Only I Am Supreme," Heavenly Opening Axe.

Li Xiaonan grinned foolishly at the Heavenly Opening Axe, marveling at the extraordinary power of this High-Quality Treasure. He let out a loud shout, revealing the Black Spirit Armor gifted to him by Dog Egg. With the Heavenly Opening Axe in hand, he unleashed a series of strikes from the Martial Soul Technique known as Exorcism Eighteen Strikes.
Ling Kui smiled at the imposing figure of Li Xiaonan, a faint blush appearing on her cheeks.
Mei Qingdan observed everything with disdain, curling her lip and muttering to herself, "All show! Just like that bastard! Hmph! Always fooling girls!"
Mei Qingdan's voice was loud enough for Li Xiaonan to hear. His handsome face flushed red as he quickened his pace, delivering horizontal slashes until, after several minutes, most of the vines on the wall had been cleared away.
"Stop! Stop! It hurts!" Li Xiaonan exclaimed in surprise as the Heavenly Opening Axe slipped from his hands and landed on Mei Qingdan.
"Ouch! Why did you drop it on me? I kindly gave you that axe, and you’re so ungrateful!" Mei Qingdan hopped around, holding her foot.
Li Xiaonan glanced around and asked, "Old Man Mei, didn’t you hear anything?"
Mei Qingdan paused at his question, looking around before shaking her head. She turned to Ling Kui, who also shook her head in response.
Scratching his head, Li Xiaonan picked up the axe from the ground and chuckled awkwardly, "Hehe, I must have misheard." He raised the axe again.
"Wait! Wait! I'm right here! Don't swing it! I've already lost limbs!"
