I took advantage of the last moments to visit my mother. 0

"Yun'er, why did you suddenly fall ill?" My mother looked at my pale face, her heart aching. 0

"Mother, it's nothing. I'm just too tired," I said weakly. 0

"Yun'er, you should call for the imperial physician to take a look. You can't go on like this," she urged. 0

"Mother, I still have things to do. I need to go," I quickly left her quarters. 0

Sitting in the palanquin, I fought back tears. 0

"Mother, please take care of yourself." 0

I was truly afraid; I feared that one day I would suddenly leave this world. 0

My health was deteriorating rapidly, and I could barely take care of myself anymore. 0

Fortunately, my Xiao Ling was always by my side, taking care of my needs. 0

I returned to Princess Manor. 0

Back at Princess Manor, I still felt uneasy. 0

Because I actually lost control. 0

"Princess, it's okay," Xiao Ling comforted me. "Everyone goes through things like this." 0

"I'm so embarrassed." I lay on the bed and cried the whole night. 0

I knew my good days were over. 0

My health was deteriorating, and the pain was unbearable. 0

A few close friends knew I was sick and came to keep me company. 0

We played and joked together. 0

I cherished this brief moment of joy. 0

But then, Huang Yu appeared again, shattering the happiness I had managed to find. 0

"Liu Yun, what's wrong with you?" Huang Yu exclaimed in shock when he saw me. "How did you get so thin?" 0

"I'm fine." I didn't want to see Huang Yu; I turned away and said coldly. 0

"Liu Yun, tell me, what’s really going on?" Huang Yu grasped my hand, asking anxiously. 0

"I'm at my limit," I said calmly. 0

"How could that be?" Huang Yu said incredulously. "Liu Yun, you're still so young. How can you be at your limit?" 0

"Huang Yu, just go back," I replied coldly, closing my eyes. 0

"Liu Yun, don't scare me," Huang Yu said, holding me tightly, grief-stricken. "How can you have a terminal illness?" 0

"Huang Yu, please leave," I said flatly. 0

"I won't leave," Huang Yu insisted stubbornly. "I want to stay with you." 0

"Huang Yu, you don't deserve to," I said coldly. 0

"Liu Yun, I was wrong. I know I was wrong," Huang Yu lamented, filled with regret. "Please forgive me." 0

"Huang Yu, I won't forgive you," I replied indifferently. "Just go." 0

"I won't go," Huang Yu insisted again. "Liu Yun, tell me how you found out about your condition." 0

"That day when you forced me to pay tribute to Xiao Yue, that's when I realized," I said lightly. 0

"Why? Why didn't you tell me?" Huang Yu knelt before me, tears blurring her vision as she looked up at me. 0

"What's the point of telling you?" I scoffed. "Can you cure me?" 0

"Liu Yun, please give me another chance," Huang Yu pleaded. "I'll take you to see a doctor, I'll find the best physician for you." 0

"Huang Yu, don't you understand?" My heart softened, but I still spoke with a hardened resolve. "I don't need you." 0

"Why?" Huang Yu asked in confusion. "Liu Yun, why won't you forgive me?" 0

"Because you don't deserve it," I replied coldly. 0

"Liu Yun—" Huang Yu was in immense pain. 0

"Huang Yu, just go," I said, closing my eyes and speaking indifferently. 0

"I'm not leaving," Huang Yu insisted stubbornly. 0

"If you won't leave, then I will." After saying that, I struggled to get up. 0

"Liu Yun, don't move," Huang Yu said in a panic as they blocked my way. "I'll go, I'll go." 0

Huang Yu turned back three times, reluctant to leave my room. 0
