Cyrus's eyes were filled with anger as he sharply stared at the old soldiers in front of him. Under his stern gaze, these once brave warriors now looked like a group of people controlled by fear and confusion. 0

"Where is Centurion Lucius?!" Cyrus's voice echoed powerfully in the air, "Why did you leave your posts without authorization and cause such destruction and chaos here? Whose orders are behind all of this?" 0

His words were like a sharp knife, piercing into the hearts of every veteran. They exchanged hesitant and uneasy glances with each other, but no one spoke up. The tension in the air gradually increased, as if it were about to erupt. 0

Cyrus realized that these veterans might also be victims, misled and manipulated by Lucius. However, he also knew that if they couldn't find Lucius in time, the situation would only worsen. 0

He took a deep breath, strengthened his tone, and tried to find a clue from this group of confused soldiers. "If anyone knows the whereabouts of Lucius, tell me now. We must stop more innocent bloodshed." His words revealed a hint of concern, but more of a firm determination. 0

An old soldier with graying hair, his eyes flashing with a challenging spark, tightly gripped a wooden board taken from a house and walked confidently towards Cyrus. A contemptuous smile hung on his face, seemingly mocking Cyrus's youth and inexperience. 0

"As a Roman soldier, when facing the enemy, our mission is to completely eliminate them," the old soldier's voice carried a kind of arrogance and confidence, as if every word he said was an indisputable fact. "Young man, you still have much to learn. In the battlefield, mercy will only make you die faster." 0

His words seemed to come from the depths of ancient warfare, full of cruelty and ruthlessness. But Cyrus' gaze showed no sign of backing down; he stood firmly, facing the old soldier's provocation. "The essence of war may be cruel and ruthless, but we are Roman soldiers. We have our honor and principles," his voice was firm and clear. "We are not cold-blooded butchers. Our mission is to maintain peace, not to create endless fear and suffering." Then, a hint of anger flashed in his eyes as he faced the group of unruly old soldiers; his anger was almost palpable. He stared at the old soldier holding a wooden board and responded firmly and sternly, "We are soldiers of the Roman legion, and our actions should represent glory and discipline. Such indiscriminate violence and looting not only bring shame to our Rome but also violate our principles of combat." 0

He advanced further towards the old soldier, his voice becoming more severe: "I'm asking, where is Centurion Lucius? Did he order you to do this? If it wasn't him, then who did?" 0

Facing Cyrus's authority, the old soldier appeared slightly intimidated, but still maintained a stubborn and provocative attitude: "Centurion Lucius said that these villagers are potential rebels, and we must eliminate them to protect the safety of Rome." 0

Cyrus heard this and his anger reached its peak. He knew that this kind of behavior was definitely not the legitimate way of legion warfare. "This behavior goes against the orders of Legion commander Pluto. We should protect the innocent, not become tyrants!" Cyrus retorted loudly. 0

As he turned to face his own soldiers, his eyes shone with a firm commitment to justice and discipline. He ordered loudly, "In the name of Legio IX and Legion commander Pluto, immediately arrest these people! We cannot let this lawless behavior tarnish the reputation of our legion!" Cyrus's voice echoed in the sky above the village, his command filled with unquestionable severity and determination. 0

On the side, the deputy officer Constantine quickly reacted. He nodded and immediately led the soldiers to rush towards the group of old soldiers who were destroying and looting. Under Cyrus's command, they acted quickly and methodically, demonstrating the discipline and efficiency of the Roman legion. The soldiers moved swiftly, displaying incredible efficiency and coordination. They charged at the chaotic old soldiers like lightning, with each movement precise and powerful. 0

Although the old soldiers were experienced, they appeared to be overwhelmed by the siege of the young soldiers. Some of the old soldiers attempted to resist, wielding their weapons, but their actions seemed clumsy and feeble in the face of the efficient cooperation of Cyrus's soldiers. Cyrus's soldiers used tactical combinations to quickly subdue the old soldiers one by one. 0

The veterans were suppressed on the ground, their howls and curses echoing in the village, but soon they were suppressed to only weak moans. Cyrus's soldiers showed extraordinary discipline and professionalism, cooperating with each other tacitly to ensure that every veteran was effectively controlled while minimizing unnecessary harm. 0

In the midst of this chaos, Cyrus stood aside, his eyes showing no hesitation or mercy. He understood that in this situation, upholding discipline and justice was the most important. He knew that only in this way could they maintain the dignity and honor of the legion. 0

Cyrus stood in front of the group of struggling old soldiers, his eyes revealing deep disappointment and incomprehension. They were once his comrades, but now they had become prisoners due to a series of wrong decisions. In them, he saw the collapse of the glory and discipline of the Roman legion. 0

His soldiers had firmly subdued these old soldiers, and though they still struggled, their strength seemed insignificant in front of Cyrus's young soldiers. It was a stark contrast: one side symbolized order and discipline, while the other represented chaos and betrayal. 0

Cyrus feels conflicted and saddened. These old soldiers were once the strongest warriors of Rome, but now their actions betray the ideals of Rome. He watches them in silence. In them, he sees the cruelty of war and the greed for power. 0
