"Create Ice · Great Ice Hammer!"
Amidst the dense crowd of demons, an enormous hammer swung down towards them. However, Silver's figure appeared beneath the Ice Hammer, and the ice was sucked into his mouth like jelly.
"Stars Shine!"
The crystal balls shot towards Silver like starlight, but as they neared him, they were instantly frozen and fell to the ground.
"Who is this guy? He looks so much like you, Junior Brother."
Ultia seemed to be teasing Gray, but in reality, she was watching Silver with great caution. Although she had been deceived by others and taken away from Uru, she had learned quite a bit about Uru and her two disciples during that time. She was fairly certain that the other’s father had been killed by demons.
"He is my father..."
Gray's expression darkened. The last time Silver attacked Fairy Tail, Gray had not fought back, but he had hoped to talk to him. Unfortunately, Silver seemed to be avoiding him, and when he tried to initiate a conversation, Silver's declaration of being his father threw him into confusion.
"Yes, so are you going to attack me, Gray?"
Silver stood before Gray with his arms wide open, completely unguarded. Meanwhile, Ultia had no intention of holding back; she sent a crystal ball flying towards his chest.
"Don't be naughty now; this is a warm gathering between me and my son. I wouldn't want anyone to interrupt."
Suddenly, Silver appeared behind Gray.
"Then let's go have a little chat about 'father-son feelings,' shall we?"
With that, Silver embraced Gray and vanished, leaving Ultia stunned and unable to react.
"Damn it."
Although Ultia might not have liked her junior brother much before, she felt a sense of nostalgia regarding anything related to her mother. Now that Gray had suddenly disappeared, she began to panic.
"Calm down, Ultia!"
Gerard rushed over immediately.
"This place isn't too big; we just need to search a little bit to find them. And we still have Newton; we should ask him if he can locate Gray."
Gray was taken away by Silver, while Laxus found himself facing Storm.
"Do I know you?"
Storm had already forgotten Laxus. It wasn't that Laxus wasn't memorable; rather, each time Storm was revived, the issue of memory became a significant problem.
"Oh, you don't remember me? No matter, just know that you'll die by my hand soon."
Laxus wasn't worried about not being able to defeat Storm. He had already beaten Storm to the point of explosion before, so he had no fear this time. Thunder gathered in Laxus's hands, forming the shape of a spear, which he hurled directly at Storm.
"Whoosh!"
A whirlwind appeared right in front of Storm, scattering the thunder spear with the force of the gale.
"Interesting. You come back stronger after dying?"
Laxus found this intriguing. If things were the same as last time, then this battle would be far too boring.
"Laxus, let's do this..."
What Laxus didn't expect was that this time the Thunder God Clan actually wanted to take action. He looked at Sting, whose eyes were filled with dissatisfaction and fighting spirit. The dissatisfaction stemmed from their previous encounter with Storm, where they had been utterly useless and even caused Laxus to absorb Demon Particles, resulting in his severe injury. Now that they finally had a chance to fight again, they would not let it slip away; they needed to prove that they would not hold Laxus back and that they were not a burden.
Laxus could see Sting's determination and smiled with interest. He withdrew the thunder surrounding him and stepped back against a wall, leaning against it while gesturing for Sting and the others to charge at Storm.
"Hmph, I might indeed have no way to deal with you directly. The chances of me losing in a fight against you are quite high, but do you really trust these weaklings?"
Storm genuinely looked down on the Thunder God Clan; they were simply too weak to pique his interest.
"However, since you are all invaders, my task is to eliminate you."
Storm's spell didn't seem powerful at first glance, but its versatility was impressive—controlling wind, fire, lightning, and even gravity. Yet he was just one person while the Thunder God Clan consisted of three: Sting with his dark magic text manipulation was stronger than Reby in various aspects—whether enhancing himself or dealing damage to enemies or supporting allies. Evangeline's magical eye ability was terrifying but had limited effectiveness against demons; however, her light magic was exceptionally strong. Bigusro controlled puppets and was actually the strongest among the three—not due to magic but because of Newton's support. Bigusro's ability to control puppets was significant; while there were limits to his strength, once the puppets' power increased, so did Bigusro's own strength.
The trio was not just about individual strength; their terrifying coordination could astonish anyone. It felt as if they fought as one entity, leaving Storm overwhelmed. Every attack came with one person defending while another attacked and yet another ready to assist. The entire Thunder God Clan gave Storm the impression that he was facing an entirely different group than before.
"Damn it, this is troublesome..."
Storm sensed that if things continued like this, he might very well be sent back to the Core of Hell again.
"This is what you forced me to do..."
The Storm sighed, and his entire body began to change. This human form was merely a facade; the demons of the Underworld Gate possessed the ability to transform, and upon transformation, their power significantly increased. Not only that, but the Demon Particles trapped within him began to overflow gradually.
"Seal off the space around him!"
Jai Sting immediately grew anxious, but the spread of the Demon Particles was faster than he had anticipated. The three members of the Thunder God Clan were caught off guard.
"Enough! That same trick won't work on me."
Thunder sealed off the entire area.
"Thunder is ineffective against Demon Particles. I don't know how you recovered, but now it's time for you to lie back down..."
Here, the Storm revealed himself; it seemed he had forgotten that Laxus was supposed to be a fake. He likely intended to provoke Laxus, but unexpectedly, his opponent remained unfazed.
"Oh really? Too bad someone has already figured out how to deal with this when we get back..."
Laxus tossed a sphere into the air, and all the Demon Particles were absorbed into it. He amusingly tossed the spherical device up and down, but before he could react, a pink unknown substance wrapped around Laxus's body. Not just Laxus, but also the members of the Thunder God Clan vanished from this space.
