Erza couldn't understand why Frenzied Blossom suddenly changed upon hearing that she was from Fairy Tail, but the current aura emanating from Frenzied Blossom felt extremely dangerous.
"If that's the case, then those people you took must also be from Fairy Tail, right? In that case, I can't stay here for too long. I originally came just to gather strength for the war, but if I can strike a blow against Fairy Tail in the process, I'm sure the Lord of the Underworld would be quite pleased."
Frenzied Blossom looked at Erza as if she were a trophy waiting to be claimed, as if Erza could never escape if she so desired.
"What are your plans?"
Erza watched her warily. The magic that enhanced sensations was terrifying; if one didn't have a certain level of endurance for pain... Before Erza could finish her thought, everything around her suddenly went pitch black. It became eerily silent, and it felt as if she had plunged into the depths of the ocean—unable to feel, hear, see, or smell anything.
Frenzied Blossom held her head high and strode confidently toward Erza, but Erza seemed completely unresponsive to it all.
"Fall down for me..."
Frenzied Blossom simply pushed Erza lightly, and she collapsed to the ground without any reaction, like a lifeless body.
Crackling sparks filled the air; Jiang could barely stand and could only grasp Frenzied Blossom's ankle with one hand.
"You really are tenacious..."
Frenzied Blossom frowned slightly.
"Since you're also from Fairy Tail, and Puppets tend to record information about what they're familiar with, if I take you back with me, will I be able to obtain all the information about Fairy Tail? But this is quite troublesome. Where is your data stored? In your brain? That must be it; it can't possibly be in your limbs. So it's decided—I’ll just remove your limbs and take only your torso and head back."
With a sudden forceful grip, Frenzied Blossom twisted Jiang's hand that was holding onto her ankle until it came off. Then she proceeded with the other hand and legs. Jiang fell to the ground, completely immobilized.
"Alright then, let's go capture those guys as well."
Frenzied Blossom was once again planning to leave, deciding to leave Jiang and Erza behind. After all, these two were completely incapacitated, and it didn't matter if they stayed here. However, to Frenzied Blossom's surprise, Jiang had bitten onto the hem of her clothes with her mouth, which was in a terrible state.
"Is that how you want to die?"
Frenzied Blossom looked at Jiang with some impatience and lifted her foot once more.
Jiang didn't understand why she was doing this. Just staying put would have been fine; even if she bit onto Frenzied Blossom, what could it accomplish? It would only hasten her own demise. But perhaps dying like this... would be better? No, she had to inform those people!
Jiang couldn't care less about what would happen to Erza anymore. Since she had fallen into the enemy's hands, she was likely doomed. The Energy Source lit up again, and because it had already been overloaded earlier, it now moved at an even faster pace, completing the transition from normal to explosion in an instant.
"Goodbye, sir..."
"Don't say goodbye so soon. You know my work would be quite troublesome without you..."
"What... ah!"
Frenzied Blossom was struck in the stomach by a steel fist, not even flying away because another steel arm had already grabbed her, pulling her back once more. Then came another punch followed by a suplex that slammed Frenzied Blossom onto the ground. The assailant then mounted Frenzied Blossom and began to rain down punches on her face.
"Weren't you just so arrogant? Keep being arrogant! You dismembered Jiang and caused that armored girl Erza so much damage; do you want to die? That idiot armored girl is only someone I can bully!"
Miraj and Erza could definitely be described as a love-hate relationship, somewhat akin to the feeling of "I can bully them, but no one else can." Watching Erza get beaten earlier had made Miraj unable to hold back any longer. Now that Newton had finally arrived, she could unleash her pent-up frustration on Frenzied Blossom.
"How's that?"
Newton easily repaired Jiang using the Philosopher's Stone and smiled at her. Although he didn't know how much she had learned this time, it should have had some effect, right?
"It feels terrible..."
Jiang sighed and cast a resentful glance at Newton.
"Are you really enjoying watching us get beaten like this?"
"A little, but this time it’s quite a pleasant surprise. I originally just wanted you to learn something, but I didn't expect to catch someone from the Underworld Gate. And judging by the looks of it, their rank seems quite high. This turned out to be a good deal."
Newton pulled Jiang up, and the two watched as Frenzied Blossom was pinned down and rubbed into the ground by Miraj.
"Get off me!"
Frenzied Blossom exerted herself, but armor is different from Jiang. Jiang's body was designed as an auxiliary intelligent system, not entirely for combat; much of it was meant for calculations and data processing, which means performance. The armor, on the other hand, was specifically designed for battle, so its strength and energy output were significantly higher than Jiang's. Even when Frenzied Blossom put in all her effort, she couldn't throw off Miraj, who was riding on her.
"Alright, Jiang, connect to the armor. We need your analysis of the situation."
"Just fixed and already thrown into battle? You really are an exploiter, sir."
Despite her complaints, Jiang connected to the armor's system and began analyzing the current battle situation. However, upon observation, she discovered something quite interesting.
"Her power is increasing, sir. This person who calls herself Frenzied Blossom is constantly growing stronger. If this trend continues, it's very likely that within three minutes her power will exceed the maximum output of the armor by one..."
"So that means she won't be able to do anything in these three minutes?"
Newton nodded and then began treating Erza. Although he didn't know Erza's current condition, giving her some healing potion couldn't hurt.
"Um, Newton?"
Newton's armor had a high level of recognition, especially concerning Erza, who was particularly sensitive about it. Seeing Newton appear made Erza breathe a sigh of relief.
"I'm sorry for making you suffer."
Newton said apologetically.
"Don't worry, that..."
Then Erza saw Miraj pinning Frenzied Blossom to the ground and rubbing her face against it.
"Stay calm. I don't know what just happened, but it seems like all my senses were taken away, so you all need to stay calm too."
"I see..."
Newton finally understood why Erza had been unresponsive during the fight. It made sense now; fortunately, his armor was still able to withstand this unknown magic.
"Don't worry, here, your armor..."
Newton handed over a set of armor, giving Erza some defensive capability.
"Do you want to join in the fight?"
Erza put on the armor, and a fierce smile appeared on her face.
"I will repay everything that guy did to me a hundredfold!"
