The events surrounding Sword-Biting Tiger did not attract much attention from others. Geman, as the President, was quite strict with his members but was also notably incompetent in external relations. Since Sword-Biting Tiger had always been the champion of the Great Magic Games, Geman held a condescending view towards other Guilds and rarely interacted with them.
This time, the leader of Sword-Biting Tiger had become Minerva. Although she was still Geman's daughter, her position represented a rebellion against him. According to rumors, she took on this role to protect a companion within the Guild, which earned her a favorable impression among the crowd. Furthermore, when Minerva led Sword-Biting Tiger into the arena, she displayed the youthful arrogance typical of her age but also sent out signals of goodwill towards members of other Guilds. She actively greeted other Presidents and similar figures, prompting other Guilds to reconsider their relationships with Sword-Biting Tiger.
The third competition was less entertaining than the previous two but served as a test of everyone's strength. The event was called Demon Temple. Inside, there were 100 monsters divided into four levels: one S-Class monster that even Holy Ten-level participants might struggle to defeat; four A-Class; fifteen B-Class; zero C-Class; and fifty D-Class monsters. Participants would enter the Demon Temple in order of their draw and choose how many monsters to challenge, with that number appearing randomly and their levels unknown. Killing one monster would earn the team one point.
However, Fairy Tail once again stole the show when Erza entered as a participant and drew number one. The advantage of being first was that she could choose first, and since she was the first to enter, all the monsters in the Demon Temple were still intact, making it unlikely for her to face the S-Class monster.
"How lucky! I might get to fight many times," she remarked.
Kana drew the last number, which meant if luck was not on her side, she could end up facing the last remaining S-Class monster.
"I think this competition relies heavily on luck," Kana said.
Erza felt a sense of relief for some reason; it seemed that drawing number one suited her perfectly.
"Luck? No, no. The main focus of this game is to align with your own strength and combat rhythm," Pumpkin Head explained, but Erza merely smiled slightly.
"A game? Sorry, this is far beyond just a game. The stage set for our return by that person—how could we possibly let it be taken by someone else?"
Her crimson hair danced in the air like flames burning brightly.
"I'll take all one hundred; the challenge is one hundred."
The words were plain, yet the impact was astonishing. The entire venue fell silent, as no one expected Erza to say such a thing. Perhaps the members of Fairy Tail had anticipated it.
"Ha, as expected of Erza."
Marlon chuckled lightly. The Fairy Queen—what does it mean to be a queen? It means being powerful and fearless. If an enemy stands before me, my sword will surely shatter them.
"Prepare the best healing."
This day would be unforgettable for many. Fairy Tail, once mocked as a one-man guild supported only by Newton, had made a comeback. However, their performance in the previous Great Magic Games had been less than stellar—one could even say poor. Yet today, despite being covered in wounds, the fairy danced gracefully in the air, defying gravity. One person with a sword against one hundred monsters; her crimson hair flowed like blood as she stood atop the corpses of her foes, declaring to the world what Fairy Tail truly was!
"To be alive in the same era as Erza is truly a terrifying thing."
Minerva had defeated Geman and felt strong; indeed, she was. But seeing Erza standing amidst a mountain of corpses made her tremble. This level of power was beyond what ordinary people could comprehend.
"Is this the strongest fighting force of Fairy Tail?"
Sting was equally shocked. If Erza had reached such heights, how formidable must Natsu be?
Rogue also thought of Gajeel. Initially, they had hoped to bully these once-famous figures seven years later, but now they were contemplating the possibility of their own defeat.
The crowd erupted in excitement. Aside from the Mages, all spectators once again recognized the overwhelming strength of Fairy Tail.
"Erza!"
Natsu and the others cheered as they ran over. This battle not only shocked everyone else but also gave the somewhat dispirited Fairy Tail a boost akin to a stimulant.
"That's just too exaggerated."
Kana said helplessly. She had originally thought there wouldn't be any good results this time, but who could have imagined that Erza would completely wipe out the Demon Temple? What about the remaining members? Were they destined for a zero score?
"We haven't won yet."
Erza smiled.
"It was an impressive battle."
Marlon approached with Ginger, heading towards Erza.
"A shocking situation, congratulations."
"Will my body be able to recover to its best?"
Erza knew Marlon's true identity. Newton had never hidden anything from her regarding her two lovers, so as she looked at Marlon, she felt a sense of pride. Newton had set the stage for them, and they hadn't wasted it.
"Of course, don't worry. I will definitely help you recover to your optimal state."
With that, Marlon took Erza away under the pretense of treatment.
"You're really strong."
Upon arriving at the Treatment Room, Marlon gazed at Erza in admiration as he began to examine her body. Her injuries were similar to Elfman's, but Erza's physical condition was much stronger, and with the added defense of her armor, her internal injuries were not severe.
"That's impressive," Erza said proudly, looking at Marlon.
"So, how's the situation at the Eclipse Gate?"
"Nothing major, but infiltration is quite difficult. The Wolf Knight Order and Your Highness's royal guards are on constant watch. Unless we launch a full-scale attack, the chances of sneaking in are zero."
Marlon found himself genuinely impressed for the first time. The level of defense they had set up was formidable; even corporate workers pulling overtime couldn't match such dedication. It was as if they were working around the clock without rest.
"It seems we must prepare for the worst," he concluded.
"Exactly. When the time comes, I'll discuss it with the President and have Lucy and Yukino Aguria withdraw. Then I'll lead them to ambush around the Eclipse Gate. If anything goes wrong, everyone will strike the Eclipse Gate simultaneously."
Meanwhile, since the Demon Temple had been completely flattened by Erza, Pumpkin Head prepared something called the Magic Power Meter PF to give the remaining guilds a score. By channeling their magical power into it, they would be ranked according to the values displayed.
This ranking should have been a foregone conclusion for everyone, but Fairy Tail B Team once again shocked the crowd, particularly Kana's team. The highest value was expected to come from Serpent Empress's Scale since their participant was Jura from Holy Ten, who should have been among the strongest competitors. However, no one anticipated that Erza would reach such heights. While she was likely still ahead of everyone else, Kana unleashed a single Fairy Glitter spell that caused the Magic Power Measurement device to explode, displaying a maximum value of 9999. No one knew if this was indeed the limit of that magic, but Fairy Tail certainly captured everyone's attention and earned widespread admiration.
