Traveling itself doesn't take much time, and Newton was concerned about whether there were any issues with the Guild, so he had been keeping an eye on the situation of others in the Guild. After staying there for about two hours, he returned to the Guild. 0

"Erza has been kidnapped?" 0

Newton had only been back at the Guild for a couple of hours when he received this shocking news. 0

"Is it really possible for someone to kidnap Erza?" 0

In Newton's mind, Erza was a formidable figure—strong and assertive. After all, she had earned the title of Fairy Tail Queen. 0

"According to our intel, it seems that the person who kidnapped Erza referred to her as... sister." 0

Jin adjusted his glasses. The fact that the Fairy Tail Queen had a younger brother, and that he had kidnapped her, felt like a cliché plot twist even to him. 0

"Sister?" 0

Newton raised an eyebrow. 0

"Did anyone follow them?" 0

"No, they set sail directly." 0

Jin shook his head. 0

"Our intelligence personnel were trapped by their magic in cards and couldn't keep up." 0

"Alright, I understand." 0

Newton nodded. 0

"Prepare some things for me; I need to go to their city." 0

"I want to go too." 0

Miraj immediately insisted on accompanying Newton. It wasn't out of worry but rather anger. The two had always bickered about Erza, but perhaps that was just a sign of their close relationship, one where they could argue. So, Miraj decided to join the effort to rescue Erza. 0

"Alright." 0

Newton nodded. Having Miraj along was fine; after all, his girlfriend was an S-Class Mage, so he didn't have to worry about her safety. Plus, he needed help tracking down their target. 0

The two rode a magical motorcycle to the vacation spot where Natsu and the others were supposed to be. The place was in ruins, and everyone was trapped inside cards, but they didn't seem to notice Natsu and the others. 0

"It looks like Natsu and the others have already gone after them." 0

Newton sighed. Since the enemy could take Erza away without encountering Natsu and the others, it meant they had likely been defeated. Newton hoped they wouldn't act too recklessly. 0

"Shall we go?" 0

Miraj looked at Newton. 0

"Yes." 0

Miraj took off into the air with her wings while Newton piloted the ship below her. 0

"Isaac, I've spotted a massive building!" 0

Miraj concentrated her magical power in her eyes, granting her a wide field of vision, even without Newton having to create a telescope. 0

"And it seems there are signs of explosions too!" 0

"That must be Natsu and the others. Mira, come down; let's rush over." 0

Newton called for Miraj to descend and handed her a blue potion, encouraging her to rest. He then steered the ship full speed toward the building where Miraj had been. 0

"Who goes there!" 0

The island still had a certain level of guard presence. Upon seeing an unknown ship approaching, they wasted no time and opened fire. 0

Boom! 0

However, Newton was clearly faster than his opponents. To compensate for the lack of metal elements at sea, he had equipped the ship with plenty of weaponry. 0

One point on the island exploded immediately. Newton nodded in satisfaction; it seemed that Natsu and the others had made it onto the island. So, he thought, why not make a bigger scene to help them out? 0

He reassured himself that he wasn't just enjoying the chaos for its own sake but was genuinely trying to assist Natsu and his friends. Lighting a cigarette, Newton began bombarding the island with glee. 0

The island wasn't without its counterattacks, but under the relentless barrage from Newton, their efforts appeared utterly futile. 0

"Mira, you go directly to the island to find Erza and the others. I'll keep these guys occupied here." 0

With that, Newton paused his cannon fire for a moment and retrieved a package from below deck. 0

"Go ahead." 0

"Be more careful." 0

Miraj looked at the heavy artillery fire with concern for her boyfriend, but compared to that, she trusted Newton to handle things here. 0

Turning around, she jumped into the sea; Miraj didn't want to fly over. With all that firepower, she felt certain she would be shot down. 0

Watching Miraj leave, Newton exhaled and then glanced at the exploding surface of the sea nearby, his face contorting into a fierce expression. 0

"Come on, you punks! I'll show you what the doctrine of RPG Cult really means! Remember the terror of being dominated by RPG Cult!" 0

Newton immediately began to retaliate, pulling out firearms from the ship and starting to use them one by one. 0

"Firepower is justice! Explosions are art! Eat my dust, ants! Go die, scum!" 0

For the people of Paradise Tower, it was the first time they felt a sense of helplessness. It was just a single ship across from them, yet it pressed down on them so hard they couldn't lift their heads. They had mages on their side too, but they were lacking in firepower for a direct confrontation on the sea. 0

As a result, the opposing side crumbled and took cover. Seeing them back down, Newton lowered one of his RPGs. In fact, their own firepower was nearly exhausted as well; even if he dismantled the guns for metal elements, it would be troublesome without gunpowder. Since the enemy had already surrendered, it seemed like close combat was next. 0

The ship moved closer, and those on the island stood ready with weapons, watching Newton intently. 0

"Step back; this is our esteemed guest." 0

A cloaked figure slowly approached, and the surrounding soldiers respectfully parted to make way. 0

"So you are the master of this Paradise Tower?" 0

Newton assessed his opponent, mentally simulating the power gap between them. If he could resolve this here, it would be straightforward. 0

"What's wrong? Aren't you going to greet an old friend?" 0

The figure removed their cloak, and upon seeing the face, Newton was stunned. It was unexpectedly surprising because the person bore the exact same face as Zigrein. 0

However, in that brief moment of shock, the figure vanished. Instinctively, Newton used Alchemy to erect earthen walls around himself, even forming a defense with iron plates. 0

Yet, this defense proved to be utterly ineffective as a figure charged in without any obstruction and seized Newton's hand, forcefully wrenching down his Mechanical Arm. 0

"Ugh!" 0

Newton's Mechanical Arm was already connected to his nerves, and this felt no different than having his arm torn off. He stumbled back in pain. 0

"I wasn't planning on doing anything to you, but since you've come right to me, I won't hold back." 0

Zigrein—or perhaps Gerard—looked at Newton with mockery. 0

"Although I had already prepared to use Erza as a sacrifice, who would complain about having more chips? Come along and watch how I play this game." 0
