“Siti! Did you see that handsome guy? Why don't we go over and let him buy us a drink?” Two women, clearly looking for trouble, were scanning the bar for their next target. When a man appeared, leading a little girl, both of them couldn't help but take notice.
This man seemed unremarkable at first glance, yet he possessed an aura that set him apart from everyone else around him. It was as if he didn't belong to this world; he was strikingly noticeable yet utterly untouchable.
“Oh! If it's him, I'd rather buy him a drink. And it would be worth it!” Siti boldly hiked up her skirt and said to her companion, “Just wait! Tomorrow I’ll tell you about the wonderful night I had!”
As Siti swayed her alluring figure toward the man, before she could even reach out her hand, she felt a chill at her waist. Her already scant clothing slipped down completely.
“Bastard!” Although she had engaged in less than honorable activities before, including working in a strip club, the sudden attack left her furious. Just as Siti was about to identify the culprit, a boy even younger and more handsome than the previous man flashed her a grin and made a gesture with his hand. Initially hesitant, Siti's eyes lit up at the sight of the dollar bills in the boy's hand.
“Take this and find someone else to play with, beautiful. That guy is a world-destroying villain.”
Fang Lin Kong dismissed the seductive woman and walked over leisurely to sit opposite Jinshi Yi. Siti had intended to say something more, but the chilling aura emanating from Fang Lin Kong pushed away all the onlookers in waves. The bone-chilling energy field froze everyone in the bar.
Among those who frequented this place were several notorious thugs carrying firearms. However, upon seeing Fang Lin Kong, they instinctively felt that this boy was not someone they could provoke.
Though Jinshi Yi had yet to regain his full power, he showed no sign of being affected by Fang Lin Kong. As a member of the formidable Zhen Dan Divine Clan, even if Fang Lin Kong were ten times more unfathomable, it wouldn’t intimidate him.
“What do you want? I can sense that your power has changed again, and that old monkey is following you as well. But just the two of you aren’t enough to threaten me.”
Fang Lin Kong smiled slightly and did not refute Jinshi Yi's words. He replied calmly, “It’s unfortunate that I bear no grudge against you. However, the Zhen Dan Divine Clan has a habit of destroying life on lower planets, which is quite undesirable. I happen to have strong feelings for this green planet and cannot stand by while you recklessly damage it. Moreover, Mr. Yuan Qian Kun and Senior Shi Qingyuan are both very displeased with you. I believe our conflict is inevitable.”
Jinshi Yi nodded slightly and said, "That's right. As a member of the Zhen Dan Divine Clan, I must hunt down Shi Qingyuan. Moreover, this chaotic planet called Earth should truly be erased, allowing me to cultivate pure life anew. If you wish to protect this place, our battle will inevitably resume."
Fang Lin Kong smiled coldly. He had heard from Yuan Qian Kun about the Zhen Dan Divine Clan's penchant for erasing lower life forms in the universe and had been somewhat skeptical. However, now that Jinshi Yi had admitted it himself, he had nothing left to doubt. "In that case, let’s make a deal. I believe that Mr. Jinshi Yi's strength has not yet fully recovered. If we were to engage in battle immediately, the outcome may not be favorable for you."
Jinshi Yi nodded, his expression impassive as he replied, "Indeed, you have Shi Qingyuan's Danqi backing you up; your recovery will be faster than mine."
"I want to protect the lives on this planet. You need to regain your true strength to fight us. If you are willing to set the battlefield on any planet within the Solar System, we can guarantee that we will not strike until you have fully recovered your powers."
Without hesitation, Jinshi Yi agreed. "This way, both sides get what they want. If I defeat you, I can naturally destroy or alter Earth as I see fit. If I am unable to overcome you, there is no need to threaten you with these lives. You underestimate my capabilities!"
Fang Lin Kong smiled slightly and said, "Then please proceed, Mr. Jinshi. You can leave this child in my care; I assure you that after you kill us, she will return unharmed."
Jinshi Yi pondered for a moment before shaking his head and saying, "I will take three days before departing from Earth; wait for me at Jupiter's second satellite!"
Fang Lin Kong said nothing more and vanished like a wisp of smoke. Any practitioner on Earth witnessing such a feat would undoubtedly be astonished. Unfortunately, he was confronted by Jinshi Yi of the Zhen Dan Divine Clan, one of the most powerful races in the universe.
"Do you believe what Jinshi Yi said?" Yuan Qian Kun asked lightly after Fang Lin Kong appeared.
Fang Lin Kong chuckled and shook his head. "Just as we would never allow Jinshi Yi to recover to his peak state, he would never believe that we could simply wait for him to replenish his energy! From this encounter, I am certain of one thing: as long as Jinshi Yi lives, Earth is likely doomed!"
Yuan Qian Kun chuckled darkly and whispered, "Back in the days of Paradise Realm, so many immortals were not as clear-sighted as you, Fang Lin Kong. Otherwise, they wouldn't have allowed that Rift Sovereign to kill so many people and turn the most famous holy land in the universe into a ghost town."
Fang Lin Kong dared not respond to Yuan Qian Kun's desolate words for fear of touching upon his hidden pain. He changed the subject lightly and said, "Given Jinshi Yi's current state, our six combined have a fifty percent chance of killing him; however, at least half of us would have to perish in the process. If it comes to that point, although I have no grand aspirations, I am willing to give my all in this battle without regard for life or death!"
Yuan Qian Kun forced a bitter smile and shook his head, saying nothing. At times like this, everyone was well aware of their own combat abilities, and he had no words to comfort Fang Lin Kong. After all, Fang Lin Kong's power had reached a level that was on par with his own, and what Yuan Qian Kun could see was not hidden from Fang Lin Kong.
Jinshi Yi's strength was simply too formidable. Even if Yuan Qian Kun, Shi Qingyuan, Fang Lin Kong, and the Kunlun Three Immortals joined forces, they had no absolute confidence in victory.
Once Fang Lin Kong left, Jinshi Yi quietly departed the bar with Juli. Just as Fang Lin Kong had suggested, Jinshi Yi desperately needed to regain his original strength. However, he also knew that no matter how persuasive Fang Lin Kong's words were, Shi Qingyuan and the others would not give him any opportunity, just as he had never considered giving Shi Qingyuan and his companions any chance of survival. The Zhen Dan Divine Clan had always aimed to annihilate any adversary to the point of ensuring they could never be reborn.
The little girl beside him completely failed to understand the grand plans swirling in Jinshi Yi's mind. Juli only wished for one thing: to have Jinshi Yi by her side so she would never have to fear the Demon Hunting Team's pursuit again.
The two wandered aimlessly down the street while Jinshi Yi pondered over Fang Lin Kong. To others, due to their familiarity with Fang Lin Kong, it was hard to distinguish between the Future Seer and him. However, as a member of the Zhen Dan Divine Clan who had traversed countless generations across the universe, Jinshi Yi was now certain that the Future Seer and Fang Lin Kong were two distinct individuals.
Thus, while Yuan Qian Kun anticipated six combatants, in Jinshi Yi's eyes, there were seven opponents. Yet for him, it made little difference; having the Future Seer as an additional adversary would not significantly alter the outcome of the battle.
In the distance, two men with differing moods watched Jinshi Yi. The younger one casually remarked, "Little White White, I think you should understand your mission now. Lure this monster to the moon! I believe in your character!"
"I told you not to call me Little White White!"
White Whale Born was infuriated but dared not make any excessive moves against the boy before him. Indeed, he had gained some of Jinshi Yi's power and felt quite capable now; however, under the overwhelming presence of the Future Seer, he couldn't muster even a thought of resistance. Moreover, he had already tried hard earlier but had been treated like a chicken by the Future Seer when he was brought from a small island in the vast ocean to this ancient street without being able to use any of his abilities.
"Perhaps after this great battle, there won't be many experts left on Earth. Little White White, you have a good chance of claiming the title of Earth's strongest. So work hard; I have other matters to attend to..."
