“Great Might Heavenly Dragon, protect and uphold.”
Although Huang Yunfeng knew that the Crimson Dragon would not harm him, he still felt a surge of anxiety. Unconsciously, he pushed his recently cultivated Indestructible Golden Body to its peak to withstand the impact of the Crimson Dragon.
The Crimson Dragon, carrying the heat waves of Fire Cloud, approached, causing the golden light surrounding Huang Yunfeng to vanish. A wall of fire formed around him, and he felt a sudden warmth as countless crimson Fire Cloud patterns began to spread across his body. In an instant, a roaring fire dragon tattoo had formed.
The Great Might Heavenly Dragon was a cultivation technique from the Buddhist Sect, which condensed energy to create a spiritual beast manifestation known as the Starlight Body. Although it lacked true intelligence, it possessed a significant spiritual connection with its master. However, cultivating the already sentient Great Might Heavenly Dragon was no easy feat. This fire dragon tattoo not only enhanced his own power and increased his defensive capabilities but also had the remarkable ability to elevate the Starlight Body by one level. As he looked at the fiery red patterns surrounding Huang Yunfeng, which radiated dazzling light and quickly interwove into a bright red tracksuit, Shi Qingyuan was not surprised. He already knew that when the Great Might Heavenly Dragon attached itself to its master, it could transform into clothing. However, what he had seen before were only transformations into cassocks or red robes.

With enthusiasm, Huang Yunfeng replied, “What else do I need to know? This is already enough for me. I don’t want to be the strongest in the universe or rule over Earth. However, I would like to travel through space when I have time; can you tell me about each planet's situation?”
Shi Qingyuan smiled slightly and said, “Space travel isn’t that simple. The energy consumed by the Starlight Body, if not replenished, will dissipate quickly. Only stars in the universe can provide an endless supply of energy; thus most cultivators cannot leave their own star systems unless they can refine long-distance flying artifacts like my Taiyuan Star Palace.”
Confused, Huang Yunfeng asked, “Isn’t that flying artifact from the Amoeba Planet sufficient? I saw you casually find one on Earth; it should be quite common.”
With a faint smile, Shi Qingyuan replied, “The flying artifact from the Amoeba Planet has a maximum speed of 1.8 times light speed. If you’re willing to fly for decades or even centuries to reach another star system for tourism, I could give you mine if you want. However, distances in space are often measured in light-years; traveling with such a flying artifact requires immense patience and endless time.”
Taken aback, Huang Yunfeng asked again, “How fast is your Taiyuan Star Palace, then? Is it hundreds of times light speed?”
With a gentle smile, Shi Qingyuan responded, “The Taiyuan Star Palace also has its limits; crossing an entire galaxy takes at least over ten years at best—but it is still bearable.”
Although he wasn’t good at math and lacked astronomical knowledge, Huang Yunfeng quickly concluded that if the diameter of the galaxy was two hundred thousand light-years and it could be crossed in about ten years, that meant the speed of the Taiyuan Star Palace was over ten thousand times light speed? Realizing this made him tap his forehead in disbelief; he decided not to dwell on such matters anymore—this Taiyuan Star Palace was simply too exaggerated.
“Besides improving your own level in cultivation, it's also necessary to refine some magical artifacts appropriately. For example, weapons for combat are essential since conflicts may arise unexpectedly; lacking a handy weapon in such situations can lead to disadvantages. Although the Sarira Beads contained many memories, Huang Yunfeng still struggled to understand many things. Shi Qingyuan was busy every day absorbing solar Star energy to replenish the energy consumed during interstellar travel. Thus, Huang Yunfeng was free to roam without restrictions.
The base of the Taiyuan Star Palace was neither metal nor stone; with his limited knowledge of physics, even if given a spectrometer, Huang Yunfeng would not be able to comprehend the material structure of the Taiyuan Star Palace. However, although most of the buildings on the base were protected by defensive fields, they posed no obstacle for Huang Yunfeng, who had already evolved into a Starlight Body.
Huang Yunfeng had no concept of refining magical artifacts; it wasn't that he couldn't do it but rather that he didn't know how to choose. The power of basic artifacts did not excite him at all.
He was also disinterested in some of Shi Qingyuan's suggestions. While wandering around the Taiyuan Star Palace, he unexpectedly discovered something special.
When he found this warehouse, Huang Yunfeng noticed that the sealing power was quite peculiar.
As he attempted to break through the sealing power, a unique sound resonated softly; it was clearly some form of music. Then, the warehouse door emitted sounds that he could not comprehend but seemed to be syllables of a language. Following this, Huang Yunfeng was enveloped by a strong mental wave.
Having just grasped his powers, Huang Yunfeng was still unskilled in their application and was easily invaded by this mental wave into his mind. Just as he began to process this intrusion and prepare to expel it, the force suddenly vanished without a trace, as if something new had suddenly appeared in his mind. Afterward, Huang Yunfeng entered the warehouse without encountering any obstacles.
To his delight, upon testing the items inside, he realized they were small flying machines. Therefore, after this unexpected discovery of the warehouse, he chose not to inform Shi Qingyuan, who was busy replenishing energy for the Taiyuan Star Palace. He paid no mind to his peculiar experience and quickly forgot about it.
Having come from a background as a petty rogue and thief, such activities were second nature to him. Huang Yunfeng secretly took fourteen small flying machines from the warehouse and stealthily landed them on the far side of the moon, hiding them in a crater.
With this experience under his belt, Huang Yunfeng's interest in the Taiyuan Star Palace deepened. He also discovered that his Starlight Body consciousness could extend far away and sense distant changes while also detecting other approaching consciousnesses. With this understanding, Huang Yunfeng could easily evade Shi Qingyuan's consciousness scans. Moreover, since Shi Qingyuan focused all his energy on absorbing Star energy, he remained oblivious to Huang Yunfeng's actions.
After absorbing all the memories from the Sarira Beads, for some reason, Huang Yunfeng's doubts grew larger in his heart. Although he could find no flaws in Shi Qingyuan's words, there were moments when fleeting thoughts crossed his mind that he could not grasp yet could not let go of either.
A month later, when Shi Qingyuan finally replenished enough energy for the Taiyuan Star Palace and it was time to leave, despite having spent so long together, Huang Yunfeng did not feel any particular closeness with this person who had brought him a new life. Shi Qingyuan remained mysterious about everything and kept silent about many matters, which made Huang Yunfeng feel quite uncomfortable.
Thus, even though he had acted like a thief, he did not feel guilty about it.
He had already cultivated two magical artifacts: one weapon called Thunder Spear. This was a basic offensive artifact imbued with strong lightning attributes and could unleash significant destructive power when wielded by its master. The other was Cloud Brocade; it looked similar to ordinary clouds but contained an internal space of several dozen square meters and had a flying speed slower than modern aircraft—though it could counteract gravity for planetary-level flight. However, Huang Yunfeng remained frustrated because Cloud Brocade was simply too slow. Moreover, even if it could fly out of Earth’s atmosphere, where would one find drifting clouds in space?
Shi Qingyuan glanced at what Huang Yunfeng had cultivated but offered no comments; he merely smiled slightly before returning to his tasks. Before leaving, Shi Qingyuan said to Huang Yunfeng: "I am only temporarily leaving to attend to some matters in the Centaurus Star System. I will return in a few years; at that time you can choose whether to come with me or stay on Earth. The Buddhist Sect gathers at Western Paradise Star which is very far from here; I have left you a Star Map. If you do not wish to leave with me and reach a level where you can traverse space on your own during your cultivation journey, you can return there yourself when you're ready. I have urgent matters now and cannot take you with me. Although cultivators on Earth are still not at high enough levels yet there are many who are stronger than you; take care of yourself."
As Huang Yunfeng watched Shi Qingyuan activate the Taiyuan Star Palace which slowly started up and transformed into a beam of light within seconds before disappearing into space, he felt an indescribable sensation within him. The speed of Taiyuan Star Palace was indeed astonishing; Huang Yunfeng’s mental power could hardly capture its transition into superluminal speed. Based on his astronomical knowledge, all he could discern was that Shi Qingyuan was heading toward the core of the galaxy; however which constellation it belonged to remained beyond his comprehension.
After completing the first evolution of the Starlight Body, Huang Yunfeng successfully cultivated the Indestructible Golden Body of the Buddhist Sect. He could now move freely within the Star System. However, apart from Earth, the Nine Major Planets were increasingly desolate. Having grown accustomed to life in bustling cities, Huang Yunfeng found it hard to endure such a cold existence. This was also why he had never mentioned leaving with Shi Qingyuan.
Once the Taiyuan Star Palace vanished, Huang Yunfeng immediately flew to the Moon, to the crater where he hid his belongings. Although it was not small in size, it barely managed to conceal those spacecraft. Compared to the city-like Taiyuan Star Palace, these were considered small. Yet Huang Yunfeng felt they were still much larger than human spacecraft.
For reasons unknown to him, all fourteen spacecraft he had stolen were of different designs, and it wasn't just a matter of models; in his view, these fourteen spacecraft could not possibly originate from a single planet.
Landing quietly on the Moon, Huang Yunfeng inspected his loot and became even more convinced of his thoughts. He discovered that these spacecraft were indeed high-tech products as he had imagined. No matter how he looked at it, he couldn't believe these things could be crafted using Spell.
Moreover, there was a vast difference in performance among these spacecraft. The strongest one could reach speeds over ten thousand times that of light, as Shi Qingyuan had described. It was also very compact, measuring only a little over ten meters in length and entirely made of a diamond-like crystal. Its operation method was exactly as Shi Qingyuan often mentioned—telekinetic control. As long as powerful telekinetic energy was injected into the control system, one could fully maneuver this beautifully compact spaceship. What delighted Huang Yunfeng most was that a Sarira Bead's storage space could perfectly accommodate this small crystal spaceship.
The items within the Sarira Beads were actually not many, and most of them were empty. After storing this small crystal spaceship, Huang Yunfeng pondered for a moment and abandoned the idea of taking the other spacecraft; after all, it would be much easier for people on Earth to discover them. Besides that crystal spaceship, there were no other vessels small enough to fit into the Sarira Beads.
Based on his preferences and basic functions, Huang Yunfeng selected another spacecraft for himself. He chose one that resembled an Amoeba Planet—a disc-shaped vehicle that not only had decent functionality but also offered spacious interior space. He was particularly satisfied with its anti-detection device, which would prevent it from being detected by military radars or spy satellites operating day and night on Earth.
Although operating it wasn't as convenient, Huang Yunfeng remained resolute in his choice because this was the only spacecraft that could use electricity. It had a very convenient feature for connecting with electrical appliances from Earth. In the future, devices like televisions, computers, game consoles, DVDs, and PS2s would all require this primitive power source. After activating his new spacecraft and ascending from the Moon's surface, Huang Yunfeng used magic for the first time; the land inside the crater sank deeply according to his will while surrounding lunar soil gradually covered everything up, concealing all the spacecraft.
With a sigh of relief, Huang Yunfeng turned around and entered his spacecraft while muttering about magical treasures when suddenly he had an amusing thought.
This spacecraft's technology level was relatively outdated; telekinesis couldn't fully control it. He could only communicate simply with its mainframe to issue commands. However, that mainframe lacked any personification like those in science fiction novels and operated without any reduction in efficiency or rebuttal whatsoever.
