"This Darsin King relic is quite strange!"
Fang Lin Kong felt a twinge of regret for his curiosity. At the very least, he had a chance to leave at the beginning.
With the danger gone, Fang Lin Kong put away the Great Freedom Heaven Realm Seven Treasures Banner. The three-meter-high steps posed no problem for him; he simply jumped up. Although Murphy did not possess the same level of demonic power as Fang Lin Kong, she too found the height manageable.
As they helped each other ascend over a hundred steps, the grand entrance of the temple opened before them. Fang Lin Kong shook off his clothes and strode confidently through the archway. Murphy followed closely behind, unable to comprehend why Fang Lin Kong faced danger with such confidence.
In truth, Fang Lin Kong's legs were not as sturdy as they appeared, yet he pressed on without hesitation.
Inside the archway was a corridor adorned with countless war reliefs, depicting battles between ancient ferocious beasts and towering, muscular human warriors. Though Fang Lin Kong was not a historian, he could sense the thrilling intensity of that barbaric era. The various beasts were either sharp-toothed and swift or possessed tough hides that blades could hardly pierce. Meanwhile, human warriors wielded endless wisdom, employing traps and weapons... As Fang Lin Kong and Murphy ventured deeper into the temple, the reliefs became increasingly elaborate. The human warriors gradually learned to harness strange powers; magic had become the main theme of warfare. By this time, the beasts they fought were of the kingly variety—capable of breathing fire and exuding poison, born with divine strength. Even these magical beasts fell one by one under the siege of human warriors, some even being subdued...
Finally, Fang Lin Kong entered the main hall of the temple.
Murphy closely followed him. Having grown up in Egypt, she had become an expert in studying the era of Darsin King. Now, she vaguely realized where she had arrived. According to fragmented records from the era of Darsin King, it was said that this ancient magical emperor conducted extensive research on magic in pursuit of immortality, and as a result, he lived for at least sixteen hundred years... Then came the inexplicable collapse of the Darsin Dynasty, and records of this ancient Magic Dynasty abruptly ceased.
According to accounts from certain demon elders who had lived for over six thousand years, during that time, Darsin King was planning to unify all living beings on Earth. Even then, seven powerful demon leaders had already pledged their allegiance to him. With the highly advanced magical civilization of that time and an army composed of formidable magical warriors wielding countless mysterious forbidden spells... it seemed no force could halt Darsin King's progress.
Legends even claimed that Darsin King possessed power surpassing that of Divine Extremity, rivaling that of deities.
In such a glorious era, what left a deep impression on the demon elders was none other than the ten miracles of the Darsin King era and the seven magical legions he established. Murphy had once been deeply fascinated by this ancient history of the Magic Dynasty, collecting countless materials to recreate records of that civilization. Therefore, as she stepped into this temple's interior, she finally connected it with the first miracle of the Darsin King era: the Eternal Temple.
The Eternal Temple was a magical artifact built by Darsin King to extend his lifespan indefinitely. While its theoretical foundation had long been lost, its effects were well-known. If someone constructed a statue within the Eternal Temple and sealed part of their soul within it, as long as that statue remained intact, they could be resurrected an infinite number of times.
However, Murphy also recalled that the Eternal Temple had another name: Divine Prison.
The Eternal Temple of Darsin King did not permit any subordinates to enter—except for powerful magical beasts captured in battle and his thousands of beautiful consorts. The former were trapped within the Eternal Temple, becoming an indestructible army under his command. The latter were granted eternal life and beauty by Darsin King, destined to serve him forever.
"This is the Eternal Temple of Darsin King!"
Murphy exclaimed, but received no response from Fang Lin Kong. The sight before them had completely captured his attention.
What is the most beautiful thing in the world?
A starving person would likely answer food, while a wealthy individual might elevate their response but still remain within the realm of money. A lustful man and a faithful one may have slightly different answers, yet ultimately, their desires trace back to the same biological essence shared among men, transcending gender. Perhaps the crowd answering this question isn't limited to these categories, but a significant portion of responses would converge on gold and women.
What if gold and beauty were to merge?
Fang Lin Kong felt the overwhelming temptation and the most mundane yet colossal allure.
Inside the temple stood countless golden statues of women, each varying in form and posture, with ages ranging from youthful exuberance to mature fullness, some strikingly beautiful, others innocent and pure, some tall and athletic, while others petite and delicate—all exuding femininity and unparalleled beauty.
Though Fang Lin Kong was not well-versed in the so-called "Han Xin Counting Soldiers" technique, he could roughly estimate that there were at least two or three thousand Golden Beauty Statues present.
"Wow! Isn't that one over there the Busty Loli favored by the legendary Demon King? The craftsmanship is exquisite; it looks just like a living person! If I took it back, I wonder how much it could sell for. It might even be worth more than the broken Venus!"
Fang Lin Kong strode into the cluster of Golden Beauty Statues, babbling excitedly while internally raising his guard. The power he was gathering caused ripples in the surrounding space.
Murphy recalled being besieged by countless beasts earlier and hurriedly warned Fang Lin Kong that these Golden Beauty Statues might pose a significant threat as well. Fang Lin Kong turned back with a smile, saying, "These sculptures are all beauties! If they could come to life, I'd be thrilled! Why would I fear any problems? Those ugly beasts should be smashed to bits—beauties! Golden beauties..."
Fang Lin Kong was practically drooling.
Murphy was both angry and annoyed. She snapped, "I suggest you find a statue to lick its toes instead! You scoundrel!"
She completely overlooked the tension masked by Fang Lin Kong's lecherous expression.
As Fang Lin Kong passed through the golden beauties and reached the center of the temple, he found an ancient throne occupied by a man draped in a white robe who seemed to be taking a nap. Fang Lin Kong quickly recognized that this man's appearance was identical to that of the colossal statue atop the temple's dome.
Although the man wore a simple white robe and had a face that could only be described as resolute, an overwhelming aura of royalty emanated from him, making it almost impossible to look directly at him.
Stepping forward slowly, Fang Lin Kong gently patted the man's cheek and said, "Hey! Can you wake up? I have some questions for you!"
Murphy was stunned by Fang Lin Kong's bold action. The man on the throne was undoubtedly Darsin King. However, whether this Darsin King was the original, a replica, or a shriveled mummy required further investigation. The ruins of Darsin King were filled with incredible dangers; even confronting Darsin King, even if he were merely a statue, instilled immense fear.
Murphy's expression was tense as she wondered what kind of danger Fang Lin Kong would face next. At that moment, Fang Lin Kong's demeanor appeared so carefree and confident, exuding charm and charisma. His every gesture radiated an air of superiority that made Murphy doubt that such a man could exist in the world.
"It’s you! I thought there wouldn’t be anyone in this world daring enough to disturb my rest!"
Seated on the throne, Darsin King slowly opened his eyes as if awakened from a nap. However, an explosive and fierce aura erupted from him instantly, akin to the most violent sandstorm in the Sahara, sweeping everything around him.
Although Fang Lin Kong had mentally prepared himself, he was still forcibly pushed back by this power, sliding across the ground for several dozen meters and knocking over more than ten Golden Beauty Statues before finally managing to stop.
Though he had not reached that level himself, Fang Lin Kong's keen perception allowed him to discern the layers and truths behind the power he witnessed. "This man's strength is truly terrifying! Even Twelfth Master Uncle isn't this strong. There are no techniques, no special traits—just pure strength. This person absolutely possesses the power of Divine Extremity!"
Just as Fang Lin Kong made this judgment, he heard a furious roar nearby.
"You have shattered my dream of conquering the world! You have caused my dynasty to collapse! You have made me, Darsin King—the greatest king in this world—sleep in this confined space for six thousand years! Fang Lin Kong! You... are utterly unforgivable!"
"Damn it! I knew it had to be that scoundrel's doing! Everything I've encountered recently seems too premeditated!"
Under the overwhelming pressure of Darsin King's aura, Fang Lin Kong struggled desperately to hold his ground. Confronting Kyo Kusanagi would lead to inevitable defeat; however, Fang Lin Kong would choose to fight regardless. Though his opponent was powerful, he was not without the strength to put up a fight.
Immediately identifying the source of his misfortune, Fang Lin Kong began to curse loudly.
"That's right! The only one capable of unknowingly influencing my life trajectory is that version of myself from the future!"
Darsin King's power was simply too strong.
Fang Lin Kong had no chance to employ any means; he was completely blocked by a vast golden aura that sealed off all actions, including the operation of his consciousness and the discomfort of adjusting his pants.
Since Darsin King had been resurrected, his thousands of royal consorts were certainly not mere statues. Almost in tandem with Darsin King's rise in power, they regained their vitality. These incredibly beautiful women, although their skin exhibited a strange golden hue, were in no way diminished in beauty. Instead, they exuded an enticing allure that made one want to touch them, or even take a bite.
Furious, Darsin King did not want to argue with Fang Lin Kong. Claiming that he was not of the same ilk as that future pervert was a philosophical debate far too profound for Fang Lin Kong to grasp at this moment. Not to mention the difficulty of explaining it thoroughly to Darsin King.
"Fang Lin Kong! You demon! I will imprison you for eternity in this temple and make you my servant!"
"What a pity! You speak well but cannot act on it, Darsin King... After six thousand years, you remain as arrogant and deluded as ever!"
Fang Lin Kong was firmly sealed, unable to muster even the strength to speak. Murphy had already been subdued by the resurrected golden beauties. So who could refute Darsin King?
Indeed!
It was none other than the Future Seer, an incarnation of Fang Lin Kong from an unknown era.
"Darsin King! If you wish to roam the world, I shall grant your desire!"
With that mocking voice, an overwhelming force broke through all barriers of void and surged toward Darsin King seated on his throne. As the emperor of the Magic Dynasty from back then, Darsin King's wisdom was extraordinary. He immediately recognized the true identity of the newcomer from the familiar sensation of power. As the golden aura around him surged violently, two forces capable of splitting continents and overturning oceans collided without any tricks…
